I can smell football getting closer..

What a beautifully written article. Once again I find myself with tears in my eyes.  Tray touched so many lives in such a positive way.  I hope his family finds peace in knowing their young man had become such a loved grown man.

Rest in peace Tray, and thank you for your light.

I really want to see what this guy can do.  I hope he makes it to the field this year.

Glad to see they're looking into injury preventing training.  Hopefully that will cut down on the IR list.

I haven't been able to stop thinking about this tragedy.  I have two sons a little older than Tray, I can't imagine the pain a parent would feel.  This time last year they were so happy, excited to have their son part of the NFL, and now?  I've read Florida does not have a helmet law, but to all you young riders, please, wear one.  You have a long life to live.

Reading the tweets from around the league is tearing me up.. so many are hurting right now.  RIP Tray.

RIP Tray.. so young, so sad.  My prayers go out to your family.

As one who bleeds Black and Gold, I rarely if ever visit this site but wanted to read the letter from Coach Harbaugh in full. My prayers are out for Tray. John Harbaugh is a great coach and we obviously, as fans, ramp up the hate each year when playing his Ravens squads. (I love the rivalry he has with Tomlin.) But all that rivalry stuff is a life escape and "leisure".

This tragedy transcends a rivalry and Coach Harbaugh's heart-felt letter shows the person side of the man and his relationship with his players (or really "sons"). You have a great organization there and we will continue to pray for Tray. I will say this out of respect for your organization and for Tray himself - Go Ravens. My wish is that he awakens from his non-responsive state and can live a normal as possible life.

P.S. We look forward to paying you guys back for last year.

Thank you Dean, it's times like this that the game feels small, but the NFL family is large.  All differences are put aside.  Wishing Tray a speedy recovery.

Suggs will retire a Raven.  What worries me about him now is he seems to have lost interest in the game.  Maybe being off the field for so long has done that, hopefully once he gets back out there he'll be his hard hitting self again.  I really missed seeing him sack some QB's last year.

I used to hate the Steelers... oh wait, I still do!

I'm loving this off season so far.. can't wait to get to real football though.   I just hope we stay healthy this year, the coaches need to take a look at some of their training practices and maybe tweak them a bit.

I was talking to one of the Steeler fans at work.. he said Tomlin called Wallace a "one trick pony".   Hey, if that trick is catching Joe's long balls.. I take that pony anytime.

Wow... I just watched the video of some of his highlights.  Maybe a flash of Ed Reed there..

That would have been entertaining if it wasn't for all those 14 second commercials for a 10 second clip.

That's what I'm thinking too.. he paid the fines, but his license was suspended because of too many speeding tickets.  As for the "single car accident".. wouldn't that be the car he was driving and no other vehicle was involved?  

If I had his money I'd never drive... just call me another limo.
