About to get all the sock ones up here. So you guys can't use them.

Yeah, you have this song in your head now too. You're welcome.

In my house, yes. Always. Now I know why I have so many...
I've accepted this. Though come winter, I may end up doing daily updates on my knee socks of the day. REVENGE!!!

I feel pretty certain I have those slipper socks too...
I can do an entire series on Dr Tinycat...

Been there. "Oh, you're so cute, let me take a picture and encourage this behavior." Yeah, my cats end up heathens...
The top one is still around. And well. Very well, actually... weird cat getting into everything... and I still don't get the trying-to-eat-plastic-bags thing... she's gonna live to be 100 in people years.
Point being, the bottom two were my babies. And they had a good life. Yeah, they had issues along the way and obstacles to overcome, but they made it far longer than anyone thought they would.
I'll post more pictures of current kitty and her shenanigans as I get them on my site. Living kitties are the happy kitties.
Kitties that aren't so random... MY KITTIES!!!
Okay so first we have the current one, the only one still with us, and she's a brat. She fetches her toys and runs around with them in her mouth howling. LOOK AT DE BELLEH!! She lives with my mom and her husband because I'm pretty allergic to cats and I can't have pets here. So she's the family kitty. And that's catnip she's rolling around in, FYI, our kitchen is nowhere ever near that filthy.

And next we have the twins. They were born... 16 years ago? They were born on the same day to the same cat as weird as it seems. The brown one had to be put down in 2008 after he stopped eating or moving and basically gave up on life. I know it sounds cruel to say that, but if you saw him before then and saw the downhill progression that fast, it doesn't seem so bad. He was blind and he had some neurological issues, and frankly, no one expected him to live to see 5, much less 12, so it's not like he didn't have a good life while he was here.
And the Siamese-ish one (snowshoe if we wanna get really persnickety about it) had to be put down at age 15 last year after her kidneys completely failed in the span of hours. The vet said they were so shrunken there was nothing they would be able to do. She couldn't even walk because she was in too much pain and the current kitty stayed by her side up until we took her to the vet. The picture I'm sharing is one of the last ones I got of her, taken maybe a month or so before she died? No one really expected her to do well either because the family they came from never had a cat live past 8, but she survived cancer and a leg amputation (and rejected her stitches twice and had to be IV fed for a week after the surgery) and was otherwise totally healthy up until her kidneys gave out. So yeah, kitties!! I want a kitty again... one day...

I'm so glad to know my cat isn't the only one who does this...

And meerkats too. So there.
Ugh I'm watching Hoarders: Buried Alive and the owner was missing a cat for some time. They found it eventully. It was dead for some months and just rotting. Omg I might cry.
Thank you for that downer of my day of happy free things.
...Jerk.

...As do I, kitty... as do I...
MOAR CONE CATS!!!

I never said it was easy
I'm one of those obnoxious people who just has to control portions and they lose three pounds overnight. This sounds easy. Watch portions, ride bike. And fix poor posture. Which may be the hardest. Stupid swayback...
You lie. It can't be that easy.
Okay, so... I want/need a super strong core with like, crazy awesome flat abs. I got a nifty new scale (for free too, yay) that tells you your body fat and your muscle mass and all this other crazy stuff, and I think I'm pretty okay right now (around 17% body fat, about 38-39% muscle mass). However, I have this roll right at the base of my ribcage if I don't sit up completely straight. Which I rarely do. I'm working on it. But I also don't want anything hanging over my jeans at all.
How do you get rid of stomach fat? I eat a pretty high-carb diet, so that's probably not helping. I'm a vegetarian who doesn't eat eggs and is allergic to soy and nuts, so protein is a bit difficult. Good thing I enjoy peanut butter. And cheese. I also have a bajillionty food sensitivities which makes eating so much fun and I've had two abdominal surgeries, so I've got a bunch of scar tissue to work with here too. Be realistic here... what kind of hope do I have?
