    Now that's cold, but I like it.

     

    In a sense, by talking about these new unis for the Browns, I feel like a member of the Fashion Club at Lawndale High School - for all of you "Daria" fans out there, and you know who you are.

     

    I do know who I am, thank you.

     

    But no, as far as uniforms go, Bucs are up there, and the winner of ugliest throwbacks is obviously the Steelers. These aren't bad...

    Looks like a college uniform.  But i give them props trying new things.   Hard to do things w/ that logo.

     

    Story time.

     

    So a month or two ago, someone asked my mom to craft her something with one of the Cleveland teams on it, they let her pick. She decided to do all three and brings me her sheet of NFL and NBA and MLB stuff and asks me to point out the Cleveland teams. I find her the Browns logo in the sheet full of helmets and she says "okay, so what's their logo?" "Uh, you're looking at it." "Their helmet is their logo?" "Yeah, basically." "...But that's SO BORING!!" "And so is the team, so at least it fits. Moving on to basketball..."

    Grammar fights on Facebook are pathetic. To me they just come off as people trying to sound smart (especially smarter than whoever made whatever obscure mistake no-one else cares about), but really end up arguing about the same group of of fundamental things that everyone should have learned in school anyway.

     

    And the few times the fights are about more than the usual suspects (misplaced comma, misuse of their), they're about something incredibly tedious such as whether the plural form of a word can also function as a gerund.

     

    Anyone who sees me post here should know I'm no fan of lazy grammar or net-speak, but anyone who gets upset about someone else making a grammatical mistake on the internet needs a hobby and should go and inflate their own egos somewhere where no-one else has to suffer through it.

    So there.

     

    It's an are/is usage thing, not a who/whom thing. 

    But I've still confirmed with several people that I was right.

    I've never had it or known any athletes with it. I just knew it could be serious if left untreated, but I didn't know much about the super short term affects. Sound like a bad excise to you?

     

    I think Jay Cutler has Type I. Seem to remember a story of him being thrown into a pool at the Pro Bowl one year and his meter was in his pocket and they had to rush out and get him a new one ASAP.
