Took an impromptu trip to DC today. It's been years since I've been there. I almost forgot how much there is to do and see.
I used to live in the suburbs of DC... I miss it.
I'm the crazy cat lady of this forum and I approve this message.
Twice in one week? Too stupid to walk around free. This time there's less of a chance to beat the charges, too.
Dedicated to Ray McDonald, I give you this.

I wish I could hire him to walk up to people and deliver that line.
Just completed a 1,195 song playlist on my phone. I feel very accomplished.
I just completed a transcript for an hour long video with two guys who sound suspiciously like Boomhauer from King of the Hill. I feel more accomplished. And slightly like my brain melted.
Im tired of crimes in general, not just the ones against women
So much this, and I'd give you a cookie if I hadn't eaten them all. I'm not a big fan of the idea of using celebrities as role models for little kids (disclaimer - I am not a parent), but the fact remains that if you ask any NFL player who influenced them, every last one will probably mention a past player in their position. I know it's not an NFL player's job to be a pseudo-parent to strange kids across the country, but I still have to wonder how these guys are still ending up in all these different situations after seeing other people getting fined, suspended, thrown in jail, whatever.
It's past midnight here, I should go to bed before I keep blathering on...
One of the Bronco's guys is being investigated too.... DE Smith.
According to TMZ (yeah, I know...) the abuse he's being accused of is sexual and the accuser is related to him, but not an immediate relative. Oh boy...

The coroner has declared Adrian Robinson's death a suicide by hanging.
And Seahawks DT Jesse Williams has been diagnosed with papillary type 2 cancer, a type of kidney cancer. He'll undergo surgery, no word yet on if he'll also have chemo and/or radiation, or if he'll have recovered enough to play this year.
oh my.... and I just turned 25 yesterday!
I pray for the family. And I should find some wood to knock on.
Happy belated birthday!! Sorry to lump that into this post full of depressing news.
Niners DT Justin Smith is retiring. Like I said before, it's like Oprah is handing out retirement papers to everybody.
You know Good Day Sloth? That does not apply today. Can today be over yet?

This is probably the best place for this. Former NFL player and freshly signed CFL player Adrian Robinson has died at 25. No cause of death has been released. Pretty shocking to see anyone that young (yes, I know I'm only a few years older than he was) die suddenly...

Its been a loooooooong time
I've been pretty sick. And then after getting better I had to catch up on three missed weeks of nonsense. More kitty pictures coming to help me deal with my mom's cat's death.
Not having an especially bueno day...

Going to Austria and Germany tomorrow for my abroad program. Then after the program I am staying with my cousin stationed in Germany for 2 weeks.
That reminds me, I must send you tons of kitten pictures before you leave.
And more retirement news, this time from Josh Brent. He's now retiring again, possibly for good this time. Everyone retires!!!
Rex Ryan is still Rex Ryan. He met with La'el Collins this weekend. Also interested in him? Surprisingly, the Dolphins (you'd think after the hazing scandal, they'd stay away from "character issues") and the character dumpster fire that is the Cowboys. Oh, Jerry...
Tight end John Carlson (Cardinals) is retiring at 30. Didn't directly mention CTE, but it seems like a likely reason with all the early retirements.
Lost in draft news, Josh Cribbs is looking for a new home after Indy released him.

Plaxico Burress has been indicted for failure to pay his New Jersey taxes. Each count carries a five year prison term if he's convicted. And yes, that's considerably more than he got when he shot himself in his leg like, five years ago.

Broke my quarantine today to see tiny kittens. Worth it. Also, I think every cat I meet will be very disappointed if I decide my hair can be shorter than my collarbone. Long hair, cat toy - same thing.
Bradford isn't worth the 19th overall pick. The Browns can't possibly be this stupid.
It's the Browns. You sure about that?
This has been me for almost two weeks. Someone call Dr Tinycat... also, I don't know if it's flu or not just yet.
