In keeping with new kitties, and keeping pictures a part of this, this is how my mom's newest kitty likes to sleep. I'm convinced the bi-color cat side that causes the white feet on an otherwise Siamese-looking cat is actually Scottish Fold. Because they LOVE to sleep like this. So much kitteh belleh to be seen...

What paw thing? The thing where they tuck their feet under like this?

Awwww so cute!! And finally adjusted... My cat used to do that. We called it "swimming." I don't really know why they do it though...

My mom got a new kitty like... two or three weeks ago? Something like that? He's still adjusting a bit. He was just able to sleep in the house (he was staying overnight in a climate-controlled sunroom up until then) maybe last week finally. A move to a new home can be scary. Try to lure her out with some treats or something to play with. If she's moving from hiding place to hiding place, that's fairly normal, they just want to find the safe places first. If she hasn't moved from one place in several days, then you have a problem. Patience, my grasshopper...

It has a legwarmer... or toesocks. Whichever.

I don't even know how to handle this... I just... I don't even know what to say.

Actually, kitty does have knee socks. But since his back legs are all squished up against the side of the couch, you can't see them.

Nope, all that is solid cat, not fur. I've named him "Loaf Cat" behind my mom's back. He needs to lose a few pounds, so once he get settled, it's totally play time. I'll get a face picture up soon-ish, but it's hard to get a picture of a cat's face when they're plopped on you and you can't really move.

Snowshoe. It's what you get if you mix a Siamese and a tabby or a calico or some other cat with two or more colors. The current snowshoe doesn't really like the new one so far... but it'll get better for them...
