So much this, and I'd give you a cookie if I hadn't eaten them all. I'm not a big fan of the idea of using celebrities as role models for little kids (disclaimer - I am not a parent), but the fact remains that if you ask any NFL player who influenced them, every last one will probably mention a past player in their position. I know it's not an NFL player's job to be a pseudo-parent to strange kids across the country, but I still have to wonder how these guys are still ending up in all these different situations after seeing other people getting fined, suspended, thrown in jail, whatever. It's past midnight here, I should go to bed before I keep blathering on...
