To be fair the Ravens did try to trade up and get Ramsey, you can't blame them you gotta blame the Cowboys their asking price was too high, but it was a little surprising they passed on Noah Spence.
I'm glad they did. Spence is all hype.
Overall, I rank this a very good draft class...I am concerned about ILB though, I thought we'd use one of our picks on that position. I really am not sold on Arthur Brown, and Orr didn't impress me last year either, although he's still pretty raw. Maybe look for a veteran after the June 1st cuts?
Raven have cash they'll sign another Daryl Smith. Easy FA signing.
I give the draft a solid A. Good motor guys that love football and just need a little coaching and strength training and will be on their way to playing like a Raven. Best pick day 2, Correa intense and good kid future stud. Best pick day 3, Dixon multi back that could start day 1 because he knows how to pass protect. A lot of boards had him #2 behind Elliot. Great job guys !
I give this draft a solid A. Even the guys they picked up after the draft an A as well. All the guys have great character and all play with a chip. I love that about all the guys they drafted. The steal of the draft IMO was Dixon & Judon. Great job !
So, potentially, we could have Forsett, Allen, Dixon, and Taliaferro/Richardson? I don't think there is room for West or Magee, and maybe we only keep three backs? Is Forsett not safe at RB?
Its all about training camp. IF those other players play well, I hate to say it Justin might be done. Shame good guy with a big paycheck.
Great pick! this kid IMO 2nd best back in the whole draft behind Elliot. Very talented and best day 3 pick by far.
I'm seeing a theme with this years class so far, big heart players especially guys on D. Tenacity !
I love when the Ravens go outside of the box and select players a lot of us have never heard of. These last 2 guys have a high motor and play downhill no fear. Play like a Raven !
I can't wait to see the draft grade we get
draft grade .........c'mon really. that's why they are behind a mic and not in the war room. draft grade LOL.
With all due respect most of you are way too harsh on the picks. None of us have the intel and the know how on who measures up and who doesn't. Most just listen to the talking heads babble about this guy and that guy. Wait 2 years then say this guy was a bust or a stud.
I can tell you hands down that Myles Jack would of been the steal of the draft at #36 and contention for DROY.. I can't say that for anyone we drafted..
why do you have a crystal ball ????

Great picks ! High character guys the last two guys will run through a brick wall kinda of players. Best front office in the business.
Carl Davis just needs to be coached up, he'll be fine. I trust the Ravens with whatever they decide. Way too many arm chair QB. Ravens know what they are doing. Evident with them taking the best LT in the draft. Welcome Ronny !
I love to roll the dice on Jack , but I think the Browns will take him. SO I would take Spence or who they feel is the best pure edge rusher. I like more pass rush rather then better coverage.
My top 3 hopes for our second round pick
1) Myles Jack
2) Mackensie Alexander
3) Noah Spence
IMO it will be either Alexander or Spence. Its gonna be a corner or pass rusher I know that much.
All I have to say is Thank You Dallas ! Glad they rejected the trade offer. I'm so stoked to land an incredible LT. The thing is this pick will do SO much. 4 year starter at a pro offense. Basketball player who has good foot work. Save money not only when they cut Monroe but for the next 5 years they get a LT at draft contract salary. Monroe would NOT last all season. We've seen it before when Joe doesn't have time to let say Perriman or Wallace get down field now with Stanly he does. I'm not comparing him with Ogden , BUT I do see the talent to be in the conversation. I wasn't a big fan of Ramsey. Didn't like his hip action or lack of a killer instinct. Good athlete, but not a shut down corner. JMO.
Welcome Ronnie ! ! ! Glad your here.
Prediction time on the message board. I predict the Ravens trade down and select either Spence or Lawson.
With Jack's knee being a great concern I think that screws up the draft a little for the Ravens unless someone trades up again for either a RB or another QB. I could see the Ravens trading now with either the Browns or 49ers. Then taking either Buckner , Hargraves or Stanly. Tusil has some character and injury concerns as well. I would be happy with a trade back pick up an extra 3rd round and get either Buckner or Stanly.
What about trading up with the Chargers ? I mean I think either Ramsey or Tunsil are game changers. I would love to have either. Sounds like the Browns might trade and move down. Bad reports are coming out about Jack and his knee that could screw things up and that's why I think the Ravens going for it with a trade up to take either Ramsey or Tunsil would work.
Tunsil might be in play as well which would be interesting. Titans like Ramsey and the Chargers like Jack.
My latest mock draft :
1. Ramsey
2. Goff
3. Jack
4. Wentz
5. Buckner
6. Ravens Tunsil
on that Monroe thing. I think the media is making more out of it than it really is. The only ones down on Monroe is the fans and media. The coaches and front office haven't been down on him, its just the media looking for a story and not finding one so they make one up.
I agree. Healthy is a top 10 LT. He's had some freak injuries the last 2 years. Ankle , Shoulder & a concussion. My hope is all of that is behind him and the Ravens can get a good season out of him. He's a good player when healthy.
My 2 cents Ravens should take the kid from Florida. Secondary is a major concern. Weddle & Webb are over 30. Jimmy Smith is injury prone. Need a stud in a bad way.
Te question is when (if you mean Cyrus Jones). Many mocks put him in the late first round or the top coupőle of picks in the second. So, while he almost surely isn't worth a #6 pick, he may easily be gone by the time we're on the clock in the second round. Maybe, if we trade down from #6 to the mid-first round ranger, or trade up for him...
I mean Hargreaves. No Bosa !!!!

Great story and great guy, BUT can he even catch ? IF so he would be Julian Edelman clone. Could be the steal of the late round picks IF he can catch passes.
