  1. Though it'd be nice to have another WR, evaluating them has not been a strength of the Ravens coaching/scouting staff. I would much rather bring in a FA like Hakeem Nicks than risking a high pick on a WR. The OLine is nothing without strong communication between the Center and Guard. Monroe was a top 10 LT in Jacksonville with a horrid LG and Center. This past year, he proved himself to be above average considering starting next to two of the *worst* linemen in the NFL, Shipley and Gino. The priority should be a C/RT, then FS, then WR. Yup. This is the reason we won the SB last year, and the reason we aren't in the playoffs this year.
  2. A huge, strong guy who can play Center. Priorities, people.
  3. Me me me!!!! Only if you've got the time.
  4. Ben's nose is itchy
  5. Nicely done. Ellison was my #1, Casey my #2 at FB/TE. Ellison edged him out due to age.
  6. Sniffed it a little late
  7. Ben's nose is, indeed, sniffing
  8. Thanks! I am usually hated upon for me picks His blocking is truly amazing for a 6' 5" guy. He isn't too bad of a pass catcher either. I needed him to supplement my young o-line. Look for Shady McCoy to have a big year behind this guy who paved the way (half of the time) for Peterson
  9. That's my thinking. He's a great run blocker and will be okay on the right side. My line is very young, but Shady McCoy doesn't really need tremendous blocking to get through to the second level. Only concern was for Bradford's protection, but I like the two rookie tackles and Wendell at center. I couldn't think of any.. Converted tackles often spell success if they are good run blockers (K.O comes to mind)
  10. Whatttttttt??
  11. Haha. Adding suspense I chose someone picked a few picks before mine. Searched on the first post, wasn't there.. Suddenly realized he was picked right after I hit "post"
  12. Sorry again for the delay, folks..
  13. Needed some age and maturity on offense. Thinking I'd just draft a TE at the 32nd position in the first round of the 2014 draft after Ben's Noses win the SB
  14. My bad. Please skip me if I don't make my pick
  15. Don't let people get under your skin. It's a game. Patience, my friends. Sorry for my delay, though. I was out last night and didn't get the message until this morning.
  16. You are the nicest!!!
  17. Any Ravens bars near Bethesda? Moving up from DC soon. I've been to Mason Inn a few times in Glover Park, and it was probably the greatest environment I've been in outside Baltimore. Champagne splashes following the Patriots win in the AFC Championship game - WOW
  18. Breaking Bad..... Come back please.
  19. Add Ray Rice into our receiving corps as well. That gives us 2 WRs, 2 TEs, 1 RB. Flacco's top targets right now: 1-Torrey, 2-Pitta, 3-Rice, 4-Jacoby, 5-Dickson. Do you care who our number 6 is? I sure don't. Do we need another top WR? Not necessarily. Do we WANT another top WR to take defenses off our top guys? Of course! I'd trade 2 1st round picks and a Jacoby for Julio Jones without thinking twice. But is this plausible? No way.
  20. You're still here? I thought you're a 9ers fan now.
  21. I understand that. I love the guy. He resembled the Ravens mentality. When he said that he'd retire if he didn't play for the Ravens next season, I really respected him. When the team asked him to take a pay cut of 2 million of his 6, he said no. Does he deserve to get paid? Yes. Did he make amazing catches in the playoffs to save the team's [profanity deleted] multiple times? Yes. Does he even want to play the game now that he's no longer a Raven? Maybe, maybe not. Sorry, yes, it was 7.5 million. But you are dead wrong about the "piss poor" offense of the old. We didn't have Joe playing out of his mind, we had Cam Cameron, we had Oher on the left. Now, did WRs make key drops? Yes. Lee Evans, Clayton, Housh to name a few. Now that we have the top QB in the NFL, judging from the playoffs, why can't we let Joe create spaces and throw his WRs open like he did with Anquan? Do we NEED injury-ridden Jennings or whiny Mike Wallace or old man Welker? Not at all! We need to find the next man up. The positives for keeping Anquan do not outweigh the negatives. He will be missed, but he will also be replaced.
  22. Finally, someone has a clear head and isn't typing with emotion.
