  1. No. That team had so much more experience than this current one. This is the youngest team we have had since the early Billick era in my opinion.
  2. All we had was Suggs last year and we almost beat the SuperBowl champs in Foxborough. Brian Billick had the same team minus Flacco, who was very average in his first few seasons, but Billick had a terrible season before Harbuagh took over. John is dealing with a very young team that is a new generation Raven squad that is in the growing process. Not to mention we lead the league in injuries. Harbaugh is one of the best head coaches in the league, and shame on you for doubting our guy.
  3. Traded the pick in 08 and moved back to select Flacco. Trust Oz. He traded back in 2012 because he was going to draft Upshaw but knew he could get him in the beginning of the 2nd round.
  4. Injuries are ruining this game. No matter how good of a team you may have, injuries can take away all of your stars and leave you with scrubs. I feel like half of the league is on IR. I don't remember this many injuries occurring ever since I started watching football.
  5. I truly believe everything happens for a reason. I think all of the bad luck we have had this year is the only possible way we could finish with this bad of a record. The same record that is going to give us a top 5 pick for the first time since the 20th century, and the same record, that I believe, is going to get us our next cornerstone player.
  6. This is such a growth season for us. Last season showed us what we can do. This season has showed us what we need to do.
  7. For those of you doubting Harbaugh, remember when he came in 2008 and we drafted Flacco round 1, Ray Rice round 2, and Marshal Yanda round 3? Yeah that was the last time we had a top 10 pick, and we have been picking at the bottom of the rounds every year since. It is looking like we are going to have a top 5 pick this year. Greatness is coming.
  8. Once we dump Monroe and Pitta we will have some more dead money next year, but we are almost out of that hole, and we will be picking in the top 5 at the beginning of every round this year. This years draft in going to be a cornerstone for us going forward. The most important draft for us in a long time.
  9. Look I know we want a guy who can come in and try to win a a few games if Flacco goes down for a couple of weeks, but if Flacco is down for the season our season is done with any of the backups we have right now. Flacco is so tough that honestly he is either knocked out for the season from a critical injury, or not knocked out at all. Ask Tyrod, whom even if we still had, would want to leave because he wanted a chance to be the starter, which he could never have had here, it was never about the money! Don't waste our limited cap space on these trash QB's. Draft one in the middle rounds with one of our 4th round comp picks.
  10. Ryan Mallet is trash. Matt Schaub is a washed up pick 6 machine. I like Clausen finishing this season for us, but that is it. We are going to have a ton of draft picks this year. Draft a QB in the 4th or 5th round! Start grooming another guy under Flacco. Mallet had DeAndre Hopkins and got benched for Brian Hoyer because he was so trash, and then cut because he was irresponsible trash. "Will our patience in him payoff like it did with Will Hill?" NO. Will Hill was a beast in New York before he came here. Ryan Mallet hasn't been a beast since he was in college.
  11. I have been doing so much research on draft prospects and I am obsessed with Jalen Ramsey. I honestly think he can be our next Reed or CMac. However if we win another game there is no way we have a chance at getting him. I think that is why we are going to play our young players for the rest of the season. Play hard and do our best, but against 3 playoff teams fighting for a spot? We should lose them all and be in a hotspot to draft our next franchise star. The future is looking bright.
  12. Our offense is in trouble on Sunday, but I think our defense will excel. Our secondary can handle that basic WR corps. Our biggest weakness has been again stud TE's, and they don't have one. The Seahawks offensive line is performing better than they should, but it is still trash and Russell Wilson makes it look a lot better than it is. I think we are preparing heavily for Russell Wilson scrambling out of the pocket. I think this is going to be a game of field goals.
  13. Our offensive line is crippled, it is looking like we are down to our 3rd string QB, our TE trio is falling apart (just for now), Sherman is going to be covering Aiken. YOU ARE OUR ONLY HOPE BUCKY ALLEN!
  14. I hope he breaks out, but Seahawks deep at WR? You mean Doug Baldwin, and Jermaine Kearse? Come on now. I like Tyler Lockett's potential but I still think they have one of the worst receiving corps in the league.
  15. After we drafted Buck I oddly watched his USC highlight tape about 10 times before this season started. Idk but it was just so pleasing to the eyes to watch.
  16. Reminds me of a young Ray Rice groomed behind McGahee. This time it's a young Buck behind Forsett. He is definitely our best receiving RB since Rice. I hope he can blossom%u2026 We need him to.
  17. I'm still looking forward to next season, but I love how the Ravens are keeping this tough mentality. Half of our roster is in the hospital and we are still grinding every team we play. This season may be lost, but it is a big time growth season for this young team going forward.
  18. Jernigan definitely cracked McCown, but I think it was the extra push by Upshaw that caused that momentum which broke McCown's collar bone.
  19. Not excited to see Schaub at all, but I am excited to see Bucky Allen as our starting RB for a whole game.
  20. Terrible job by medical staff on this injury. They should have sent Perriman to Dr. James Andrews after he missed the preseason. A partially torn PCL is a lot worse than a strained PCL. He should have never been out there warming up if his PCL was still partially torn. Why? because you can tear it even worse if it isn't fully healed, which Perriman did. If they diagnosed it correctly he never would have been out there warming up and he would already be healed from his first injury and probably would have been back right after the bye week. Oh well. Get fully healthy, and stay hungry Perriman. We will need you next season big time.
  21. If Kamar Aiken or Chris Givens is anything higher than the #3 WR on next years depth chart, then we failed this offseason. I like Givens, though. I think we will re-sign him for a cheap contract this offseason for depth reasons/deep threat.
  22. And every other team in need of a guard has seen how good Osemele is. People are going to want him. People who have a lot more money to spend than we do. I hope we can keep him, but i'm just saying I'm glad Urschel is getting experience just incase we get outbid just like we did with McPhee.
  23. We have a lot of young talent. Let them get experienced in this rare lost season and get better. The Ravens have really young team and Flacco still has his best years ahead of him. The Ravens got unlucky this year, but overall, we just were not good enough to make a legitimate SB run. We are close to being great again. With smart offseason moves, and hopefully at least one F/A steal, along with another solid draft with most likely a top 10 drafting position the Ravens will be ready to attack next season. Also, fire Dean Pees. We need a completely new defensive system in place after this season. Rob Ryan? Chuck Pagano? The Ravens defensive coordinator spot will be VERY appealing to a lot of coaches. Go Ravens.
  24. I don't mind this at all. Zuttah will heal at his own pace, and it's not like we have a chance at the playoff anyway. If we lose Osemele to F/A this offseason Urschel will be our guy to step in at LG to replace him, unless we make an offseason move for a new LG, that is. So even if it is at Center, this starting experience Urschel is going to get is a good thing.
  25. Good thing I love the NFL draft so much and doing research on potential prospects for us. Now it will make it a lot more interesting since we will most likely have a top 10 pick this year. Oz, it's time to draft another franchise star.
