  1. No one in the top five projections is worth trading up for. Noboby.
  2. Not a fan of not using the picks in the rounds there slotted. I see clear cut viable choices projected in the fourth round and all have great value. The only way I'd deal them is if we get a trade and acquire another second and third in this years draft at Minimum. Picking in the top 100 that many times is almost a no starter as far as a trade.
  3. Nice look Breshad on the extended Ravens Family ala #25 tributes. May they be life long alliances.
  4. We can win with Wallace's skill set. We still need to draft one or two to compete.
  5. Steal- Shepard (wr) CJ. Prosise (rb) Bust- Buckner (dl)
  6. The what the rookie symposium is for. To address the needed changes in ones personal life that are warranted (no pun intended).
  7. I agree with your summation of Elliott. I'm not sold and I wouldn't take him even after trading back. The best runningback will come out the late third early fourth. Let the Cowboys take him.
  8. Agreed. Elliot is a great pick @ 6th however I'm of the persuasion that Great Value exist in the early fourth round. I'm grabbing CJ.Prosise or K.Drake. Both have shown a more then adequate skill set with running and hands. Either one of them could easily eclipse Zeke in our system. I don't see the next Gurly in Zeke that would make him as valuable to me @ six. His tape and few games I watched I'd say my grandmother could ripped thru. The O- line quite often looked like the true highlight reel.
  9. @bb22- I like the mock personally. Not much not to like. I do question the Ward pick.
  10. The Zeke would most definitely fill BPA @ six and he could be the outlier as far position of need. He could be counted on to bail Flacco out while as he will need time to re-adjust to the newly repaired knee and could serve as a top notch release valve in the run first zone block scheme. Would I do if I was Ozzie. Yep. Would I do it as the GM. Probably not, solely because I favor Hargreaves as the compliment to Weddle and strong possibility of getting Cravens. If the age experiment with Webb doesn't go as planned I have the swiss army pieces on a snap count basis in preparation for the eventual.
  11. Thanks.
  12. Always a Raven = Tray
  13. Hey I'm doing the same. But now we need you to nail you picks. In two weeks we will have a board of final projections. Period. The process is the process and our convictions as to who what when why and how come should stand for something. I'm asking all Ravens Fans to invest in the process and nail and post it. It's just for fun. I haven't post a mock because I'm hoping to be crystal clear and have a clear path to how it panned out what i projected what transpired what actually culminated into and cross referencing those on the board and the total equation. Right or wrong it's all good and we all really are not that too far off the mark. My first prediction _ Trade back. get 2 and 3 from-TBD It's a matter of preference.
  14. True just light hearted fun Bro. But there are new rules. Bosa hit the showers! Harbaugh (Why didn't you just ignore it dude?)Damnit!
  15. Too much to warrant
  16. If we take him I'm gonna be……..P'd I wouldn't hesitate to get a cut vet tackle of substance after june 1 with Pitta's savings. Monroe knows he's a short deal here. One/two with incentives should do it. We win and you can take the check for next year to the bank and not even play. Madden money of course. No but seriously there will be a great candidate trust and believe. I don't believe a draftee with questioned work ethic will be drafted day one.
  17. He may do that shrug and get banged in the mouth. Do like the tape tho.
  18. Athlete yes but the knee scares me honestly. I do think they both have high ceilings and would serve the team well. But both have issues health wise. I don't know that i could put my draft capital into a player with knee issues at the onset. Gurly proved me wrong so I won't discount him but if my butt was on the line I wouldn't take him at six. We must all remember we must nail this pick with no consequences @ pick one. Perriman left a bad taste in everyones mouth that cares about the overall scheme of the Ravens product wise. I say take him if he checks medically. So I'll digress until further evaluations of his Knee issue is clarified. Smith rings as a passionate player and is all about playing like a Raven in the old mode. Personally I think the hybrid (Jack) is the wave of the future but Smith is the prototypical of what we field. I see a wrench in the works and it will be out of left field. I also see them (Ravens) checking all but one box need wise. At least those we've been clamoring for. I'm doing my best Al Roker impression lol. A new neck of the woods. lol
  19. I gotta co sign the critique because you did claim you saw much more then your claim now. No one remembers all your post but I distinctly remember you being very high the lukewarm then high. I know the possibilities are endless but remember what you post. If you don't remember thats different? But you are a valued poster here so lets just chock this one up as you were drunk maybe! lol Jaylon Smith pre injury is the truth @ linebacker. Smashmouth barr none. Just my 12 cents
  20. If he's the += of Gurley for this year count me in. But not @ six.
  21. My take regarding Steve's tone is he expects to hit this draft with little to no room for error. And has put Ozzie and Eric on notice to hit it and do their due diligence. I don't think the status quo will be allowed this year nor will it be will be tolerated with the amount of draft capital we have at our disposal. And he was scheme specific as to where he thought no errors should occur. Also he seems much more involved and animated this year. He obviously wants to smash a few pies in the faces of Kraft and anyone else that has castigated our beloved team. Ozzie better be kicking--- and taking names. Not so many fans are clamoring In Oz we trust. Just an observation.
  22. Big picture is we trade back. Other teams have coveted players and the top five projected aren't the only value. You see multiple teams needing QB's and some teams need other positions as they think they have the nucleus in place to be true contenders. Hence they may be willing to trade for an Elliot or grab a QB that would have normally been deemed in the twenties as a viable stop gap. The Browns have just about gutted their team and may be flush with just picking quality vs. status quo. Everything is fluid and as such teams will be in the hunt for the best possible deal. Even if Goff and Wentz are plucked someone may value the second tier as just important in the today. I think all it takes is reasonable compensation in return. One thing for certain is the next two weeks should shake out the stalemates, wink once if your with us wink twice, if your dead serious about the coin. The current free agents in part have some leverage but most don''t have any. Kap? Where you gonna go dude? RG3 whats the hold up? Fitz - it ain't happening like that! Teams will not sink a team financially because they most likely can go cheap and still get similar results from a draft pick. If the ravens don't get greedy they can solidify the roster. There is a lot of hype about this draft but I truly don't see a gotta have player in the top 5. Like certain players sure, but I don't see a blue chipper without question marks. Scheme specific would be my calling card. And believe it, theres a bevy of it throughout this draft that are plug and play types.
  23. To me it didn't matter as much about comp picks because realistically the only one of real consequence was Osemele. And to be blunt a third round potential was a non starter because in essence they traded that away for this years core player(s). Weddle, Watson, Wallace. So they re upped early. Upshaw won't get top dollar anywhere and they knew his market before he did. The moves equates to the only logical thing to do. I think the next big move will come after the draft and post June cuts. No need to find a trade partner or sweat out the draft. With 9 picks and a possible, who could ask for anything more?
  24. You need a team dude. Which he ain't got lol Before you hyperbole check the roster they portend to field. (Browns are nothing to fear) Again check the listings. He locked himself into the top spot.
  25. I still waiting on them bag a chips (Camp). I still won't rely on him to stay healthy which would cause us to keep an extra receiver. With Perriman, and SSSr coming off their own, it's gonna take a whole lot of that Faith.
