  1. My top receiving corp would consist of Desean slot, Perriman x, Givens y or x (spells either Perriman or draft pick/FA), Ross in the five receiver sets/trickplay, and a acquisition of a Garcon/Kearse (Seattle), Alshon (if released to FA), Baldwin (S.F.) or Josh Boyce. They (excluding) Desean and Alshon maybe very affordable. Abbredaris is in the mix too.
  2. Bosa, has to be on the radar. Ramsey would be my first round pick if Bosa's not available. Hargreaves is next. That's pre combine and end of season for cfb of course.
  3. Desean would be a definite asset. I agree with you DF. I'd say Jackson, Perriman, Givens, Ross, draft pick of a Boyd/Doctson, would be lethal. Mix in Forsett, Buck and draft pick would provide stimulus to the playmaking abilities. No doubt. Desean would also be amongst men and head coach that would have intel from the Eagles( his grass roots org).
  4. Count me as one whom agrees. Picking thru the garbage bin lately Ozzeeee. Get outta that trashcan……… If you noticed his trades pan out better then a few of his draft picks. I'd also add that beyond the 5th round basically equates to undrafted's or filler/fodder. Receiver's are long gone. You may find a kicker, snapper, punter or maybe even a redshirted cfb player coming off a serious injury/character issue. But not primetime potential. Exceptions are not the rule.
  5. Kubiac's scheme didn't allow for that imo. He(Joe) had his moments when he did and kubiac changed the play call accordingly. I don't even think the coaching staff recognizes that tendency. I've never heard a post game interview that suggest he needs to utilize the whole receiving corp and effectively. I'd go to sleep too, if you refuse to throw me the ball. A couple of plays a game (if not more) the receivers must cursing Flacco on the way back to the huddle. Somebody buy Flacco some contacts/near-far sighted. Near sighted cause I saw it (why didn't he) Far sighted because he needs to be consistent going forward.
  6. Just in time for a evaluation. If he's brittle, It will really rear it's ugly head. He's had time to rest. Conditioning will be key.
  7. Doesn't really matter. If they do a purge thru player evaluations during the season I'm good. If you deem your players as talented then play them when yoiu have nothing to lose. Matt and the rest of the bench warmers are coming off for a few stints each game. An elongated preseason is what this season has equated to so take the opportunity to solidify your future prospects viability. Coaches can put in work and players can get over those pre-snap jitters.
  8. I think it's called buying time outside the pocket RaineV1. Most QB's don't have ample time to get to the third progression in the grand scheme of the initial play designed.
  9. I think most of the fans are still missing an important aspect. Flacco tends to ignore some of his options and Givens and Ross have shown separation during games only to run back to the huddle. SSS was targeted at overwhelming rate. His stats are bound to be eye popping. I truly believe if the team deemed it essential that Flacco wants to receive his estimated /restructured contract going forward. He'd be required to train with his wide-outs and host a skilled player's mini camp. Leading a group of moving parts that have different skill-sets would seemingly dictate and warrant such a clause. Sort of leading by example. Playbooks are scripted guidelines/strategies. If you help write the book then you seemingly can write the positive endings. Barring the intangibles. There has been a lot of wasted opportunities and Flacco/organization bares responsibility. Learning the tendencies of each when a play breaks down is what Roth, Brees, Brady, Manning have likely inserted into their playbook's in order to maintain drives and cohesion. The television camera angles don't fully tell the positions of receivers. From a live angle. I'm like why didn't you hit Givens in the flat. Ross was wide open in the seam. Heroic's are special and not the norm. Progression……………
  10. Ring of honor for us. (Ravens)
  11. He'd have to be inducted as a Panther. Longer stint.
  12. I like his honesty. And we aren't getting to much of that lately. From the team that is. Pee's also had a candid answer about Jimmy. I'd like to ask Ozzie and question and get an honest answer. Don't you feel like a fool after all the Receiver's you've drafted and still didn't pann-out ? (with exception of 1)
  13. The one thing currently being done by the team with Perriman that I can get behind.
  14. Another member posted that article when he sustained the injury. Ozzie and receivers don't mesh. That became very apparent when he traded for Terrell Owens and he declined. Something is a mist within the Organization and it's business practices. I also wonder if the Scouting service they utilize is on the take as well. Steady misses in some departments are a constant. Even if they wanted to keep the same scouting service, I would have thought they'd add some competition for them as they could easy afford to hire another. There is no cap on that. lol At the least i would change the receiver scouts. And raid the steeler's, pats, bronco's closet's.
  15. It's to late baby! Baby it's too late! Though we really try did try to make it. Something has died inside and we just can't fake it ! Oh no, no, no, no………………….
  16. Any logical fan would agree. I would say sacrificing potential sure wins for talent evaluating wouldn't be throwing the games/season away but rather in-house scout reporting to the front office/coaches. IR'ed players that have/had non-season ending injuries would qualify as that. I'd have a scripted playbook ready for the practice squad and bench warmers handy ever game. If they'd learn something early about there player's going into next season would bode well in all aspects. Injuries would heal during the off season, player's would be more familiar with assignments and playbook. Technics would be refined. Evals would be game speed and team specific. Plays omitted from playbook. Game tactic's and tendencies of opposing teams would provide intel. etc Seems like a leg up out Belichek's handbook. But it wouldn't be cheating. A competitive edge comes in all forms. Ask Tommy boy!
  17. Maybe if he doesn't play this year they'd double dip on the position more readily. If they can't gauge his effectiveness maybe that would shake up that comfort zone we as fans have taken notice of.
  18. He's a camp body next year. For cheap.
  19. Trestman should be given an opportunity to insert his own playbook. Period.
  20. Freeny wasn't a focal point of my comment. (JS) And I have stated on numerous occasions your latter points so we do agree
  21. i'd pay Harbaugh Off as they did Billick to get Payton.
  22. You read my mind. LOL
  23. Not if they keep suspect players. It won't place a lot of faith in Ozzie spending any money on quality. Penny pinching is thee MO.
  24. i think you get the point. And if not …..well. agree to disagree.
  25. Strong and accurate assessment. I completely agree.
