Whatever decision he makes may derail the process of finding future receiver's. (i.e.) Pitta.whom is counting largely as an inactive player and roster spot. I primarily hope that he makes his decision quickly. If he decides to continue it would most assuredly cause Ozzie and co. to rethink his draft strategy and skew the matrix/dynamic. If Ozzie thinks putting blind fate into an aged rehabbing receiver is (best cap wise) to augment the current receiving corp it would put a huge roadblock as far as future acquisitions. This scenario has played out on numerous occasions. Holding onto aging vets and often injured player(s) needs be abandoned. For the risk reward is less predictable. The onus for such a decision should not be left to SSS. I love the heart (lion) of SSS, but his body must able and willing to go along. This off season should not be filled with subplot's, but real time draft/free-agent acquisitions. If SSS does come back I'd be inclined to the think that Ozzie would follow his stale pattern of expecting too much from him and expect the same level, if not higher production, while ignoring the obvious or anticipated rust/rehab effect. Sure, SSS ,maybe effective. But to what extent. It's only been less than a week and already the org and fans want that cinderella swan song to play out. Enough of that. If we haven't taken a page from the Micheal Orr (blindside) project, then shame on us. The only happy ending for me is a Superbowl win. If i want a perfect ending, I"d try reading a playboy magazine(starring Me..lol). Not the crime scene noel that's about to play out. It's already been seen that he's not exactly lighting up the scoreboard with the numerous drops in the redone/endzone. I think i counted 5. I will say that if he's willing to take a much lessened role and the Ravens manipulate the roster to include maybe 7 receivers to the active receivers on game days then I wouldn't be opposed. But to put blinded/biased fate into a player that may already have reservations about returning would be a supreme blunder.
