  1. hopefully he turns it around. It may be in his dna
  2. Ms D said cut it bro. Done deal. But he may need it cause we bang people in the mouth in this division and he'll probably need the cushioning. lol
  3. I agree. I hope to reverse the trend but they seem to yearly disrespect the franchise. Small markets get no respect. All the more reason to kick a/ and take names. Pitts gets a pass due to nostalgia.
  4. A raven left the nest. Now we gotta get them BB guns out. Thanks Daryl Smith. I wanted you to get a ring. But not at our expense good luck.
  5. Come on Tray you can do this. You can totally recover and lead your way back to us. I have to believe it cause thats what we really want. We want you to be a part of us and most of all we want you to be here. I can't wait to see that smile. We also want to see your family outside of your football family take you home and be able to see your progress. The Ravens family is strong and tight knit so we will support you and your family with prayers for now. Once your ready to receive the goodwill and faith based. You'll see that you will have all you need. Fight like Raven. We love you young warrior and you know we have your back. Peace and blessing to the family as no weapon formed against you shell prosper. I know Ray will tell you in person. No doubt. So let us tell you before he gets there. This is the most important time for us all. See you soon, prayerfully. Fight like a Raven, Fight like a Walker, most of all fight.
  6. Sad about him. Not giving up hope that he at least survives. I don't really care about his career @ this point but rather his life. Prayers obviously going out.
  7. Boooooooooooo on BROWN? Whhhhyeee Ozzie, y. I'd wait for more cuts during the off season like Amendola for depth! More head scratching moves! Ridiculous and wasted money!
  8. I hoping any trade back nets Fuller/Shepard/Boyd/Treadwell. I'm sold.
  9. I still believe they will seek a wr draft pick. And early. I don't think they want to get burned again thinking they have all they may need. SSsr/Perriman should still be considered ? It would be nice to groom a young in.
  10. Welcome comrade Wallace. Play like a Raven. You know the Steeler's will be hunting for yah as traitor so make them pay. So we have Perriman, Aiken, Wallace, SSsr, Butler. He must still have elite speed. Now for two picks in the draft. I'd say a Fuller, Boyd, Shepard pick would bode well. Although I wouldn't be surprised to see Ozzie trade back and get Treadwell for good measure.
  11. I have to agree as well with both statements. I think Flacco would have benefited greatly having Kubiack in his ear. It didn't come to pass so Trestman should listen to Flacco's assessment of what he learned and build upon it. One element of the progression should be to have him look @ windows to run through when the play breaks down. Cerebrally scanning the field is key.
  12. Is there any decent tightens in this draft? Which RB has the best hands in his draft? What sleeper pick @ the wr position would you guys consider?
  13. I'd like Harvin as a better fit. But Camp has soured the stomachs of everyone here. Harvin maybe a early casualty in this division with the style of play each team exhibits. Well maybe not the Browns, lol. I also question the Wallace signing because that may signal the un willingness to draft one early round one/two. If Wallace still shows elite speed I would wait to pass my final vote. As that one trick he had with Pittsburgh was seemingly unstoppable by most. He'd thrive with Flacco and Trestman. I'd like to see us field any combo of the following: Flacco/Mallet Aiken, (Boyd/ Fuller/ Thomas/ Shepard/) SSsr, Perriman, Harvin (Late flyer on TBD) Buck/Forsett/Prosise/Drake Watson/Gilmore/Maxx/Boyle Any good hands prospect suits me just fine. Ultimate- Perriman,Fuller, Boyd, SSsr, Harvin
  14. Welcome Mr. Weddle Play like a Raven. You already know.
  15. Now vh3 has back up with weddle. I'll take him or alexander @ 6 but truly hoping for a trade back to teens.
  16. wallace has played badly on his last 2 teams, and for good enough reason that we can think it was a system thing and not of his own fault. hes a speedster, a deep threat, and one of the better ones in the league, but his last 2 qbs were noodle armed dink and dunkers. i think at the least he brings back what we lost with torrey, hes perfect for our offense as a 3rd guy. and if perriman plays solidly then we simply have too much speed on the perimeter to contain. Oh so now he's perfect for what we need. I seem to remember you calling him a one trick pony when I suggested he be sort after when he was a free agent after leaving Pitt. Why the change of heart?
  17. Who proposed using the number 6 pick? The rest I'll absorb.
  18. Going by whats been reported he's a route savvy technician that sets up his opponent to bite bail or overly commit to his initial or pro ported angles he'd run. To me that trumps pure speed as he'd be available and effective in any scheme. Boldinesk in his prime in being able to get open, catch contested passes, find soft spots and take it to the house, command a lot of attention and has shown his willingness to block. All keys to a success receiver. I do like speed but it can be overrated. I like what I saw of Fuller- speed, Doctson-size/body control, Shepard-all around game. Key highlights can be misleading but do offer the dream envisioned by fans and offensive coordinators to have ability/flex in and out of schemes. Base mode is slowly being fazed out in schemes and Boyd would be a nice peace to add. I toke the neg off yah as it didn't seem warranted nor addressed as to why. LOL somebody has the finger on the pulse of the negative response as being valid without a plausible rebuttal. If Thomas offers that count me in and I'll down.
  19. http://nfltraderumors.co/2016-nfl-compensatory-pick-announced/ We didn't get 4 total 2 fourth rounders and a 6th Note were N.E. got theres. Tyrod counted for nothing as was predicted.
  20. This may prompt Ozzie to trade back if he wants to get what he expected for Tyrod. If the Ravens don't covet a specific player @ 6th I see a trade back in play to further the cause.
  21. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2623227-marshal-yanda-ravens-agree-to-new-contract-latest-details-and-reaction Ozzie is on the move early ! Thank you Mr. Yanda.
  22. I'll add one to your list. Boyd is the wildcard fallback guy. I'm definitely enamored with his skill set. Straight up route technician. The Ravens need to target him. Fuller in the first if we trade out and down into the teens. Treadwell is the consensus #1 in most peoples book but we need explosion via speed and hands. Fuller showed elite speed and Grim will help the hands/nerves/concentration aspect. Shepard is the slot option but we could also use Boyd there. I think the Redskins lack of movement may also suggest they may need to purge to retool. If Jackson is a casualty then we need to pounce all in. Just a hunch.
  23. Very good value could be had in latter rounds @ the position. Drake, Prosise, offer upside to the position as well. If we move back and acquire picks it's feasible to get even a Henry if he's there. His pro day went very well by all accounts.
  24. Yes to the first question as I see desperation on the part of some teams to get a veteran on onboard that could possibly start immediately. Secondly Mallet does offer some upside with most of the intangibles to succeed. Arm strength, accuracy, high footballIQ, health, low monetary cost initially, new improved sample size of on/off field concerns within a well structured organization with successful outcomes regarding both. Is he the ideal candidate maybe not. But he has experience and is looking to rebound his own stock by the looks of it. Maybe my pick haul is skewed however I believe he offers great value and at least one team left out in the dust or needs a veteran presence with clear upside would take a draft flyer on him. With the lack alternatives being obvious. Many think they (Bronco's) will go for a trade involving a Colin Kapernick via the 49er's whom has a huge contract relative to a Mallet
