  1. The Steelers aren't exactly blowing people out and had to stage a comeback just to beat the Bengals. If you have watched the games, Ben has been horribly inaccurate here recently and if we can stop LeVeon Bell, we will go a long way to defeating the Steelers.

Let's hope Marty can keep his common sense hat on through the whole game and if not lets hope after 9 years, Flacco can soon check out of a bad play. I have always noticed Flacco changing from a run to a pass, but rarely do you see it otherwise.

We need our QB to go to football college in the offseason and lets do some work on that extremely low football IQ he has. Little less diaper duty and more passing to your receivers and watching tape. It is the off-season but for 120 million we expect work in the off-season.

Who says he doesn't work in the off season? You're not with him 24-7. You must remember he was injured badly and was not able to do some things until later then usual this year. He probably is still not 100% so cut him some slack. I just hope he can stay on his feet and deliver those passes like we know he can. Go Ravens.

    Before Flacco's contract ,from 2008 to 2011 44 wins and 20 . After the contract 2012 to 2016 , 41 wins and 37.....Nothing to see here.Move on.

    2008 - 2011: 1 OC .  2012 - 2016: 5 OC  I found something to see here

Typical reply from a Flacco apologist. The dude has been a starting QB in the NFL for 9 years, and still makes rookie mistakes. Just accept it, for God's sake. You don't need an OC to know not to throw off of your back foot, or to throw a "no look" pass to the wrong team when you're on the opponent's 11 yard line, with a 10 point lead with 6+ minutes to go. What Flacco needs is logic; and this has alluded him for quite some time.

Wait, wait, wait...I know what your argument is; so I'll do it for you: "Remember the 2012 playoffs? He is a super bowl MVP, you know."

    Save it.

Typical comment from a Flacco hater. Let's face it shall we. You will never appreciate any thing he does and will nit pick him to the end of time. Save it.

If Jimmy Smith does not play against steelers or CIncy, we have no chance

IMO your are way over rating the performance of Jimmy Smith and I would offer to you the PFF ratings on him as my rational. He is no better than a league average performer and on most game days he does not even reach average grades for CB's ....

He's still better then our alternatives don't you think?

wonder what harbs does if camp fumbles one away

    Nothing. That's his golden boy.

Campanaro has been hurt most of his short career so I doubt he's reached "Golden boy" status and Harbs has no love lost for anyone who fumbles the ball and I mean no one! You fumble and the best thing that could happen to you on this team is to warm the bench for a game or two. Fumble again and you'll be looking for another team to play on. Harbs don't play when it comes to fumbling. Now if he just took that attitude for other things.

Who says he doesnt have that attitude? You're selling Harbaugh short I think. Go Ravens.

  5. The Ravens will find a way to squander it away and lose at least 2 of the last 3 games and blow the playoff chances again. Harbaugh is going to be canned after the Bengals game. Mark it down in sharpie. If Ozzie was smart, he would find a way to get rid of Flacco in the offseason and get a competent QB in here to play some actual football. 85% of his passes and under 5 yards. That is a clueless quarterback who cannot read of bait a defense into any successful play.

Well my dear don't watch then you won't be disappointed if we win. You do have a way with words though I'll give you that. Go Ravens!

  6. You’ve heard John Harbaugh say it through the years: “Iron sharpens iron.”
I'm so tired of that. Actually, any metal / material SLIGHTLY harder than iron will sharpen it......Harder than iron- I'm not seeing it this year.
Perhaps we should go with, "if any part of the fish stinks- the entire fish stinks"; or, "just cut the head of the snake off (I love reptiles- I better watch myself)". I guess whatever that 'head' is- we all have our definitions ( either player or front office). Then again, "an iron fish hook taken out of a fish with bad breath......:)

Regardless if we win or lose, there is a lot more than football (beat Pittsburgh!).
Have a great and safe Holiday!

Some people will stick their head in the sand and give up. Spread nasty comments about a team who never gives up like they do. I personally am not going to stick my head in the sand. I'm going to root for this team regardless of outcome. Go Ravens!

  7. The usual lip service that's been going on all season. Team just isn't any good and I wouldn't be surprise if they lose to the Eagles. To be completely honest, the Ravens don't need to be in the playoffs, because they are a one and done team.

Well there are three left so we'll see. Try to look at the glass as half full and not half empty. I know I will. Go Ravens.

You shouldn't give up on your team until they are eliminated.

"Team just isn't any good"....no. The Browns aren't any good. Even if we end up at 8-8 we're "half good" so to speak. You can't just say we aren't any good when we've won games and are in the playoff hunt.

Even if they go 1 and done, who cares? We were 5-11 last year. Remember?

    Amen and thank you.

  9. Well, its time to put up or shut up for Harbs , all the coaches , Flacco and the rest of the team. these next 3 weeks will tell how much do the Ravens want it and I'm sure the Boss man is watching as well. I'm tired of the excuses and bad play from week to week. Man up and play PROFESSIONAL FOOTBALL. This is your job do what a lot of us do and work hard. The team has talent on both sides of the ball. Last year between a tough early schedule and a lot of key injuries blew that season apart, but NOT this year easier schedule and not many injuries. Time is now to play smart and play to win these next 3 weeks and hopefully into January. Let's do this !!!

I have heard no excuses from this team. They excepted the blame on every loss so don't go that route. They want these wins more then anyone I'm sure. What I'm not sure of is the consistent play to win them. I will hold my breath each possession of the ball and hope for the best. Go Ravens!

  10. The media doesn't like us anyway so why expect it now. I hate to admit the fact that the Ravens just don't have the right stuff to win the next three games. Even if they did the teams they would have to play are just too much. Do you know how hard it is to say these things? I have always been a rah rah type but now I just don't think we can do it. I support them as always and wish them the best. Go Ravens.

  11. For some fans it is so much more fun to post when the Ravens lose. Hopefully one day they will get just as much pleasure in posting after their winning games. I'm not saying this team is great by any stretch but good grief people. How would you like being a Browns or 49ers fan instead.

Sorry to admit we may not win one game much less three. The team is certainly disjointed. That being said I do not believe they will give up and will continue to try to better themselves the rest of the way.

Fans should show up for our last home game regardless of how they feel. The Ravens need all the support they can get.

    Go Ravens!

  12. The swagger this team used to have was on the shut down defense and the fact that it was good enough to carry a team through a season and to win a Super Bowl (Trent Dilfer season and the season where Matt Stover won five games for us).

The defense is back to being one of the best in the league, though it looks a bit different than before. They shut down the run, and at times they can shut down the pass, but they are vulnerable. Back in the heydey of Suggs, Boulware, Lewis, Reed, McAlister...there really was no safe place on the field.

All teams are vulnerable at some point and that goes for the Pats as well. Don't think for one moment they aren't just a little bit worried about the outcome of this game. Hopefully we can show up like we did for the Dolphins game. If we can hold it together we will win.

You forgot Jermain Lewis on special teams.

He was a weapon for sure, had his biggest run in the Superbowl against the Giants, but he wasn't a game in-game out every down player. Guys that are primarily special teams players I don't think have "swagger." Deion Sanders did, but he was also a shut-down cornerback, maybe one of the best cover corners to ever play the game. As good as Devin Hester is, I don't think he has swagger. He wasn't much of a defender before they tried to make him a receiver which he also is not.

Tucker has a personality but it is a tough sell for a kicker to have swagger...unless you are Sebastian Janikowski and you're almost the size of a DE and can kick the crud out of anybody that would mess with you.

What is swagger? Just another word for show off in my book. The Ravens are what they are and that is alright with me. Go Ravens!
