Don't think that's the case. Maybe a few fans will be calling for Mallett. Bottom line is Joe is our QB. This would be 1 game. Nobody in the Ravens organization is going to give up on a franchise QB based off the performance of a backup in 1 game. This isn't Dallas where Dak has half a season of starts for the organization to consider....plus Flacco is WAAY more durable than Romo. *knock on wood* Flacco's durability is in question since his knee injury and now a shoulder issue that isn't allowing him to practice all week. When have we ever heard that Flacco missed a week of practice due to an injury? Never. He is older, has taken a beating over the years and you can tell in the pocket (and I will be nice here) he is tentative. Mallet's previous issues had to do with off the field problems which appear to be resolved. I think that it will be more than a "few" fans if Mallett comes out and lights up the scoreboard. However, you are accurate in the fact that Flacco is Harbaugh's boy and no matter what, if Joe can play this year, Joe will play. I think with Flacco's age it is time we start looking for the next franchise qb in the draft. To get a good qb we are going to have to finish like we did last year so we can get a high pick. I can honestly say, if we go 5-11, Harbaugh will be looking at QB's in the draft because his future with the Ravens is now tied to the productivity of Flacco and if we do that bad, then it is possible that Harbaugh might make a change to save his own job. I think if Ravens go 5 and 11 Harbaugh be looking for a job. Let's think 11-5 OK. The season is young yet. I know we have some tough opponents coming up but if we can get the team healthy we have a shot just like any other team.

Let them rest until after the bye. No sense in putting them back in if they are not ready.

Joe isn't the problem Please stop defending the guy. His lack of production is as big a part of the team's problem as the Ravens' inability to keep players healthy, and their inability to draft playmakers for the last 5 years. Since he signed that $126 million dollar contract, the highest he's finished as a QB is 16th in the league (2014). The other two years, he finished 30th and 32nd, and is again ranked near the bottom this year at 27th. That's terrible. He may not be THE problem, but he is a BIG problem. Please stop attacking the guy. He is doing the best he can with the amount of injuries to our offense. Also coming off a bad injury doesn't help. He is getting his brains beat out Sunday after Sunday. Give it a rest and get behind the team and stop griping.

Perhaps it is some fans who are garbage. Think about it. We wouldn't have won the SB or won numerous playoff games if not for Joe. Some fans are never satisfied. Just think we could have a Fitzpatrick or someone like him.

I'm with you! Love my team....no matter what!! Do I get upset sometimes?? Sure I do, but the Ravens are MY home town team. I would never throw any of team under the bus, like some so called fans do. The refs turn a blind eye on penalties done to our team. What else is new? This has been going on for as long as I can remember. It even caused a loss of a game last season if I recall correctly. The amount of penalties throughout the league is just ridiculous. The game has no continuity or flow to it any more.

Not true and you know it. Does his best work in post season but you know that as well. Stop the griping and stop blaming the QB for everything wrong. He basically had no training camp and it will take time to get into a rhythm. It may well be 2 or 3 games down the road. At this point I would rather have Flacco at the helm. Some other teams in our division are not exactly killing their opponents either. The Browns just can't win, the Bengals are bungles and the Steelers are up one week and down the next.

Sit these guys until after the bye week. Let them come back relatively healthy for the second half. Go Ravens.

Paying Flacco all that money after the SB has finally come back to bite the org in the butt. Now they have to cheap it out and everyone can see how that is working out for us. Like they say, "Maybe next year". Don't bet on it though. Like Billick had to be given the gate, it is time for Harbaugh to take that route too. He is as ineffective as the team right now. A house cleaning is in order and then the rebuild begins all over again. Baloney!!!!!

I thought this site was for Ravens fans but all I read are whining and down right negative and insulting comments. You should be ashamed to call yourselves fans. You've decided in your own little minds that the season is over. Last time I looked we were 3-2 and that is still a winning record. Unbelievable!!! Stop watching the games you are jinxing the team.
