When was the last time either of those teams had a 5-11 season? Not to mention the Seahawks, Steelers and Chiefs.. All of these teams are the elite teams. I hate not being an elite team and if we are not dominating then we are being dominated. That's just unacceptable!!
Well for the P*triots it was back in 2000, but they play in a creampuff division. Still, give them their due.
The Broncos went 4-12 in 2010, prompting a petition signed by almost 18,000 fans calling for the firing of Josh McDaniels, who you recently suggested we bring in, and the birth of the website JoshMcDanielsSucks (too much profanity there to give you a link, try Google). Prior to that they were 8-8 in 2008 and 2009, and 7-9 in 2007.
Seahawks went 5-11 in 2009, and 4-12 in 2008.
Chiefs went 2-14 in 2012, after going 4-12 in both 2007 and 2009.
Packers 4-12 in 2005, and 6-10 in 2008. So really, not that long ago. Prior to last year, for the Ravens in was 2007. So if "THIS IS WHAT WE SHOULD LOOK LIKE", this is what we DO look like.
Guess who the winner is? Steelers, of course - you have to go all the way back to 1988 to find a 5-11 season. And guess what? WE PLAY IN THEIR DIVISION! and consistently beat them. So all your angry griping is just that - angry griping with NO basis in fact. Wikipedia is a beautiful thing, you might want to give it a try next time, instead of subjecting the rest of us to your rants.
All right!
With K-Dog in the house, good juju coming!!

I know. There was more to it then just money. He needed a fresh start somewhere else, just wish it was with a contender.
I so wish we'd been able to keep Torrey. He's absolutely wasted on this niners team.

2. Yes, you do need both. And apparently, Forsett doesn't currently have both, otherwise he would still be on this team now wouldn't he? You literally just regurgitated what I already said... heart, grit and determination isn't enough.
You were the one comparing football to the business world in general. What's so hard to understand?

Wrong.
There are plenty of jobs where compassion and human feeling are integral to performance, and where all the technical skill in the world doesn't make up for acting like a cold, unfeeling butt-hole. Trust me, I work in healthcare. You may think you want Dr. House, but in reality people hate doctors like that.
Football is a game of emotions, where heart and grit and determination are equally as important as size and natural ability - just ask Ray Lewis. The Ravens are a team built on that philosophy, it's not just one or the other, you've got to have both.

I wish him all the best. Hopefully he plays somewhere.
Agree with this 100%.
Total class act, I hope this works out for him.

I agree.
Lewis is my favorite dark horse from this year's draft. Love a great redemption story, really rooting for the kid.

Or as they should be.
I'm hoping it's just the lack of time together, and that things will start to gel soon. Vikings look like the real deal, though. I always thought Bradford was much better than people gave him credit for.

LOL, that's hilarious.
I think you're right about Lewis. He was available if somebody else went down, I think they were just being cautious.
The lack of pressure on Carr, given his makeshift OLine, was really distressing.
Speechless. Just...prayers for all involved.

Yes, and no. Carr, Cooper and Murray are all still on rookie contracts.

Yeah, I don't know what Trestman's thinking, pulling that stuff with a makeshift OLine.

Reed's not an easy target, either. Nice play by the rookie.
