blah blah blah...this will never end. Lets agree to disagree. You'll be a joe flacco fan even if he goes 20 interceptions to 9 touchdowns this year. Im done. Just get ready for the next game.

    Thank you.

Let's agree to disagree. That means you can shut up now.

NFLPA would never go for that.

I think what Mod3 is suggesting is being able to pay homegrown players extra $ that would not count against the cap.

All of these are excellent ideas that revolve around the same concept - keeping fan favorites at home, and paying them more money, while keeping all 32 teams competitive through the current draft process. Kind of like an expansion of the franchise tag.

NFL fans are an intensely loyal bunch. It's what they want.

If this team needs an elite offensive line for flacco to be ''solid' then alex lewis cannot be involved at all, be it LG or LT.

Nobody said elite but you. Just better. Average/solid would be nice. Lewis has been fine at LG.

until he shows otherwise im not spamming. Spamming is when there is no substance. There are a LOT of ravens fans on the same boat regarding flacco. The RSF forum in particular have lost patience with him and see him for who he really is. He might have some fans here but call me crazy i want better for this franchise. I wont stoop to the fear of cleveland and kyle boller. I want a REAL deal QB..someone who  i know is going to bring it more often than not..someone who CARES about this team. I'll say it..i dont think flacco cares about this franchise. I've seen his demeanor when we are losing..smirking and chuckling on the bench when losing and hes playing bad...

I'll be completely honest, I don't like him as a QB and he wouldn't be my QB.

No, spamming is the repetition of the same thought over and over and over and over throughout multiple threads, while adding nothing meaningful to the conversation.

We get it. We know how you feel. It doesn't matter how many times you say we need to get rid of Flacco, most people on here acknowledge that's not going to happen, so you constantly beating that horse amounts to nothing but unconstructive whining.

Also, to expect a 4th round rookie (Lewis) to walk into the LT position without a few hiccups in the road is unreasonable, at best. But, please. Carry on.

to non flacco homers, don't bother..when flacco homers want an excuse they can pull anything and everything out of the bag. Just watch the next few years..it's already been a putrid 3 out of 4 seasons, a couple more might be all they need.

so why do you bother watching? or do you?

It must be miserable going around looking for stuff to complain about.

I don't think Kaep has anything to do with it because it's not just 49ers games that are suffering; it's all games across the league.

    Agreed.

Parity, free agency, and ridiculously low salary cap in relation to QB's going rates, all adds up to team's (like us) inability to retain fan favorites.  Too much movement in FA for the casual fan to keep up with.  Double the cap,  enable teams to retain more homegrown players, fans might become more invested.

  7. McPhee is the perfect example of the type of player Ozzie has been targeting in recent drafts that people have been complaining so vocally about.

High character, killer work ethic, intelligent. Not flashy, not a star, won't "take over a game", just quietly goes to work, improves every day and gets it done. Very solid player, I miss him a lot. He earned that contract.

Why cant Ravens trade 3 round pick to Lions for Haloti Ngata return to Baltimore?

Because Haloti's been on the bench with injuries more than he's played for the Lions. That has NOT been a good trade for Detroit
