Sorry but I would have to respectfully disagree. Personally I like the 8's, especially for receivers.
gotta agree with you here.
In fact 88 might be my favorite.
Denver flight time from BWI -4 4-1/2 hours
Los Angeles -5 hours
It's part of the west
Denver's 1600 miles from Baltimore, 1300 miles from San Fran. Sure it's in the West, but nowhere near the coast.
Easterners have absolutely no idea how huge the distances are out here. It takes me 10 hours to drive to my son's, and he's in the same state!
lol No Harbaugh asked for the coast trips to be together so the team could remain out there. Denver/Oakland is pretty much a slap in the face to that request. Then they do it again with Arizona and San Fran.
"The team is reportedly asking the NFL to schedule their away games at Oakland and San Francisco in consecutive weeks this upcoming season, sparing the team the rigor of two cross-country trips and allowing them to stay put in the Bay Area."
The bye week is good.
You forgot the "maybe" five prime time games as the last 2 are in those shuffle weeks where we can get bumped for Pats or Denver or some darling NFC match-up. They love those.
kind of cracks me up to see how many people actually think Denver's on the west coast. or anywhere near the west coast.
That's really underwhelming. I was hoping it was Jeromy Miles.
yeah. I was hoping for Danny Gorrer.
NFLN reporting Housler continues his tour of the AFCN with a visit to the Browns today.
Also reporting that James Ihedigbo plans to hold out for more $ - he's only due $1.1 mil this year. Any chance we can work out another trade with Detroit?
Make it happen Ozzie!!!
yeah, Torrey's been using squor for a while, since he swore off social media last year. It must have some kind of filter to allow these guys to put stuff out there, while keeping out all the nasty comments.
A lot of vet QBs are not on board with that kinna stuff. They think its beneath them. But Schaub isn't only on board with it but is interested in coaching after retirement. Of course when I found that out it changes the signing. Doesn't change that Wenning could actually outperform him in preseason. However Schaub is going to earn his $$ in practices and the classroom. He will practically be an extra coordinator/QB in practices. Nobody knew he would help with all that. Many vets wanna play and will help minimally and take it as an insult.
doesn't change the signing, just changes your opinion of the signing - and lots of folks on here were commenting about his coaching abilities from the minute it was announced.
maybe folks should do a little more investigating before spouting off diatribes of criticism, especially those complaining about the $ (who don't understand the details), or are saying the signing makes no sense.
Is everybody forgetting how Kubiak got his start? He was a backup QB for years before he became an OC.
Not to mention (outside of Sr), we've got a very young receiver corps learning a new system, and Torrey wasn't the only one who looked totally lost out there at times. AND if we bring in a FA vet, or a rookie in the draft, the learning curve will be steep.
This is an AWESOME signing, for his coaching abilities in TC alone.
Schaub will be fantastic in TC helping the young wideouts learn the system.
I am now going to shout:
KNOCK OFF THE DRAFT TALK IN THIS THREAD!
Use the draft forum for that. This thread hijacking needs to stop.
Please, folks. Mod 3 is right.
Not sure if he has much left in the tank, but it might be worth it to have him here for a year.
Greg Jennings released by @Vikings: http://at.nfl.com/K9UUBkr
I love Greg Jennings.
High character family guy, great locker room presence. He would be a real nice pickup if the price was right.
This is funny:
According to CSN Bay Area's Matt Maiocco, free agent Michael Crabtree has no interest in re-signing with the 49ers.
Per Maiocco, "the 49ers rank 33rd (give or take) among teams on which he’d prefer to play next season."Chargers and Redskins showing interest.
That's hilarious. would prefer the Skins over staying in SF.
Oh, poor Torrey. Out of the frying pan and into the fire.
I saw that the deal is a 12million 3yr deal
link?
That's the same as Moore's. I seriously doubt Moore would have even considered coming to Bmore, where every day would be a reminder of the biggest boneheaded blunder of his life, not unless we broke the bank to do it.
Trent Richardson's claiming that his suspension for missing a walk-through prior to the Patriot's game was caused by "serious complications with his girlfriend's pregnancy that could potentially have endangered the life of the child."
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/nfl-draft-bust-trent-richardson-134629502.html
Indy is now using that suspension to void his guaranteed 2015 salary of 3.1 mil, and Richardson's filing a grievance to get it back. Not that he did't deserve to get cut, but if true, the Irsays have reached a whole new level of sleaze.
I'm really liking the balancing of power that's going on in the AFC East.
Miami gets Suh, Revis goes home to the Jets, and Brady goes splat Then Shady does what he does up in Buffalo. Any help to bring the Cheatriots down makes me a happy girl.
You know what's funny about Revis going back to NY? All the jets fan welcoming him back and kissing his feet. Check out the jets forums right now. Funny how a yr ago they were ripping him for going to NE. god I hope we don't become fans like that
Only you have the power... ![]()
Nothing good happens out at 4am ![]()
Prayers for CJ.
Rich Eisen reporting Michael Oher signed by the Panthers.
Good for you JJ
San Diego is signing former #Ravens return specialist and receiver Jacoby Jones to a two-year deal, per @AdamSchefter.
That's awesome! Best of luck, Jacoby.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure Elway made that clear when he and Peyton met last month, take a paycut or we're moving on. Even went so far as to say "Osweiler is ready to go" in a presser.
All this "we'd love to see Peyton back, we're just waiting for him to make up his mind" was just more Elway bull-crap while they tried to push him out the door. God I hate that man.
Peyton wants the records, and he should have them.
But Denver's still looking at losing most of their Oline in FA, and as we saw last year, Peyton needs to stay 100% untouched to stay effective. Bet it gets real interesting halfway through the season when Kubiak's faced with the decision to bench him.
Civil settlement LOL.
Somehow I knew there was big money changing hands. Sad.
yeah, no, Has nothing to do with anyone winning or losing. The cheatriots are wicked good cheaters, always have been and their crap is ruining the integrity of the game.
exactly.
The bottom line is, it's completely irrelevant whether they would have won those games anyway. It doesn't matter whether they needed to cheat or not, the fact is they CHEATED. That's all that counts.
Sounds like sour grapes to me. Every teams Cheats a little.Seahawks lost Colts lost and Ravens. Ravens are a scary good team. Some DB help and it could be them holding the Lombardi trophy next year.
No way.
Not every team cheats, and I find it really sad that you believe that. And that because you believe that, you think it's OK. This kind of thinking WILL ruin the league.
The Patriots as victims???
LOL, the level of delusional thinking has reached an all-time high. Bring on the little guys in the white coats, please. These guys can come up with excuses for ANYTHING.

I'd actually be OK with that. At least I have some respect for the Steelers, and for the rivalry.
This just makes me SO mad. Not only that Brady had the arrogance to do it in the first place, but that he lied through his teeth during the investigation, and refused to cooperate by turning over his texts.
Judy Battista reporting that Brady was "not credible... and not entirely cooperative and forthcoming", and pointing out other instances ( Michael Vick, the Falcons' recent crowd-noise brouhaha) where the punishment was much greater for the cover-up than it was for the actual offense.
I just want to see Brady smashed like the lying little cry-baby bug he is, at the very least stripped of his MVP title. I'd be OK if it was the the Steelers who get to do it in the Thurs. night opener. At least they represent the division.
