  1. Me, too. He may be a keeper on versatility alone.
  2. Glad to see Tyrod, Deonte, and B. Pierce all doing well. Couple of Lions updates: Ihedigbo was a rumored hold-out for more $, as he definitely outplayed his meager contract last year, but Lions wouldn't budge. He's in camp and grinding, becomes a FA next year. And Haloti's taking TC off on the Non-Football Injury list.
  3. After nothing but bad news from these joint practices, once again the Ravens lead the way and show the NFL how it's done. Thank you, Chip Kelly and the Eagles for hosting, and keeping it clean!
  4. Once again, time to institute the sarcasm button
  5. Does this mean Urschel's back?
  6. didn't we just have a long discussion about that in last week's game thread? Thanks 1/28 for once again saving the day. Great pic!
  7. they're saying he's till not 100%, just giving him a rest.
  8. Obviously Yee's never read the CBA, or the contract he had Br*dy sign, sounds like a 1st class agent to me.
  9. Seriously? Wow, go Rex! Way more behind this story than we know.
  10. Boomer Esiason on NFLN putting the blame squarely on Geno, saying he finally antagonized the wrong guy, again calling his maturity into question (Bowles said it was something 6th graders could have ironed out), and saying he's not surprised at all, the only thing surprising is that Geno's still in a Jets jersey. Wow. Really harsh words for a kid when he's down. Keep piling on, Boomer, way to go. <sarcasm> SMDH.
  11. yeah, it sucks to lose your favorite fishing spot. Hope they get it back up soon. My luck's been pretty bad, too, since I moved two years ago. On the east slope of the mountains, it's mostly German browns and brook trout - they're stupid fish and pretty easy to catch. Over here on the west slope, it's mostly rainbows and cutthroats, they're just smarter fish. I still don't know how to fly-fish, yet, either. I'm just a beginner, but I plan on spending a lot more time out on the river this fall.
  12. Sweet! I bought myself a little light-weight, fast action Shimano trout pole last year, with a Plueger on it - it's almost a kid's set-up, really, but I absolutely love it. Finally caught my first keeper on it yesterday, a 14" cutthroat. Now I'm obsessed, all I want to do is go fishing!
  13. Suisham thinks he's done for the year. Still waiting on the MRI to confirm. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/08/10/steelers-kicker-shaun-suisham-believes-he-has-a-torn-acl/?ocid=Yahoo&partner=ya5nbcs
  14. Yep. Admins will open the game thread later in the week.
  15. That's hilarious. And, seriously, when has anybody ever seen Joe cry? The dude has ice water in his veins.
  16. Love that Aiken's claimed his spot. He's sure earned it the hard way. And love love LOVE that, including Gilmore, our offensive line is intact from last year. Those guys can only get better.
  17. agree 1000%
  18. Especially if you have to have Sunday Ticket to see our Ravens. That payment"s almost as much as a mortgage, LOL
  19. Rumor has it Tali showed up to TC lean, mean and hungry. He's been working really hard, don't count him out.
  20. Lots of pics of him on the home page - photos from TC. At least the photographers are still focusing on him.
  21. I was also looking forward to some fireworks with Joe and Perriman, but honestly, if we're going into the pre-season with Sr, Aiken, Butler and Camp as our top four, I'm pretty OK with that.
  22. I was also very disappointed with the lack of turnovers in the secondary last year. Like salamander said, those momentum shifts are HUGE when a team has a chance to come back and score, and you can shut them down. I'm really glad the team has made that a priority this year.
  23. exactly. this is not the third grade, people.
