  1. So true. It's so much easier to just throw blame around than it is to offer any constructive ideas on how to fix the problem. All of this "fire this guy, bench this guy, trade, cut so and so" makes no sense if you don't have replacements waiting in the wings, which we don't. Too many people wanting to throw the baby out with the bathwater, IMO.
  2. Joe never does. He NEVER throws a teammate under the bus. Owns it all.
  3. So true. I just love Eric Davis. Always just tells it like it is.
  4. Not to mention he's spoken of retirement when his current contract is up, and he's been out injured for all of training camp, and most of the season so far. His impact for the Lions has been almost non-existent on a defense that's even worse than ours.
  5. Thanks, I needed a laugh.
  6. It looked inside 5 yards to me as well. Terrible call. This. The turf snagged one of their players as well, Carlos Hyde got his foot caught and just went down, lucky for him he was only out a play or two. As someone else said, this is the field they want for the SB?
  7. I totally agree. QB whisperer, indeed. He's ruined Joe.
  8. I still can't believe Sr's playing.
  9. What a play by Martavis Bryant. That was phenomenal. Really too bad he's a Steeler. Landry Jones not looking too shabby, either
  10. Palmer...wow. That really sucks.
  11. Everybody's welcome to join us in the gameday thread for live discussion of the game. http://boards.baltimoreravens.com/topic/65666-week-6-baltimore-ravens-at-san-francisco-49ers/ Just a reminder: Ravens Talk is closed during the game. Live discussion of the game belongs in the game thread. Please do not hijack other threads with discussion of the game; those posts will be removed. Please join us in the game thread and cheer on our Ravens, I think they're going to need us today.
  12. and now Vick is out...
  13. I don't know, CJ Anderson has to be close up there. I had him in two leagues.
  14. and what drinking can do. So much for Johnny Rehab. What a shame.
  15. Welcome to Baltimore, rookies. Looks like two, if not all three of you will be starting tomorrow. Filling in for Forsett, Suggs and Doom - some pretty big shoes to fill. Not like there's any pressure there or nothin'. Serously, really pulling for these young guys to do well, and to play with some passion and excitement. Hope they're ready to sink or swim.
  16. "You get on (the list) because you're stupid" Hilarious.
  17. We could always pick Toussaint back up if we're willing to sign him to the active roster. I agree with you, though, I loved the way he played.
  18. can anybody say...Flacco? Really too bad for Tali, he's one who worked really hard this off-season, and came into camp totally in shape and ready to ball. Can't wait to see you next year, Zo.
  19. Because; "The average recovery time and return to normal activities following an arthroscopy is one to two months, according to Cleveland Clinic." http://get.smarter.com/qa/health/recovery-time-after-arthroscopy-56f6319a36bc6236?ad=semD&an=msn_s&am=broad&o=32816 Maybe do a little research before calling names and throwing out a lot of baseless accusations. One click on google. It's not that hard.
  20. Hats off to you, BrownsFan. You guys deserved that win, played tough to the bitter end.
  21. yeah, he wants the long-term security more than huge $ at this point. The real issue is getting all that dead money off the books from Rice, Pitta and Haloti.
  22. yeah, and it's sucked each and every time.
