  1. Perriman, to this date, is an injury bust. To try and bring him back prematurely could derail a career before it's even started. Get it over with, IR him for the year, and bring him back healthy next year. Hopefully, it's a lesson learned and they bring in qualified speedsters to cover exactly this type of problem in the future.

    Oops.

  2. We better have a kliller running game because we are going to have a miserable time getting any passing rhythm against Cincinattis DBs without a deep presence. This is seriously highly irritating that Perriman is still out like this. Magic Johnson got through Aids faster than Perriman and his knee

Perriman will be back in a couple more weeks. Unfortunately by then we could very possibly be 0-4. Magic Johnson has HIV, he never developed full blown AIDS.

i said i wouldnt come back after my last post, saying that most likely Deen Pees will start playing more conservative now that suggs is down. Comparing the play calling he called during the denver game, and this game, you can very well believe he was more conservative. Im just saying and im not in panic mode yet, but ive said this for a few years. We should start thinking about changing DC, get someone that gets back to ravens football and actually sends pressure early and often

    Have someone in mind?

  4. This is going to be a tough game. Marvin Lewis knows how to get at Flacco and how to limit his receivers. We win if someone has a breakout - Maxx Williams, Aiken or Brown because I expect Forsett, SSS, and Gilmore to be smothered. Defense will need to be perfect and a victory will require a 2-0 advantage in turnovers. I think if we win some future leaders may be defined. If we lose than the hot seat for both players and assistant coaches will be in play.

Here is Marvin Lewis game planning for our receiving corps...  :th_grapes:

  5. I mean... the talking is done.... the backs are to the wall. If we do not come out swinging -it is time for some overhauling. We have talent, we have depth. Yes we lost Suggs but like he said... we have been there before! Heck last season was a lot more tumultuous and we pulled it together. Get Dean Pees some help (if we refuse to get rid of him) lets hire an assistant DC. (to help keep Dean from playing soft and playing scared all of the time)> the new guy can make the calls, while dean can keep his position and get the credit for it all. It sounds like a win / win for me!

The last time we lost Suggs we still had  Ngata, McPhee, Lewis, and Reed to help absorb the blow. Now we've got Za'Darius Smith, Jason Babin, and Will Davis??? I'm afraid that we're in uncharted territory here. Sunday could get ugly.

  6. one guy who won't be playing,or playing much at all is BRESHAD PERRIMAN,I just read a ORLANDO SENTINEL article that say, basicly we drafted a player who's had knee problem's his whole life,he actually has a GENIC DISEASE in his knee's that's plauged him his whole life, also his father.well OZZIE did it again, picked up another DUD wide reciever, that's why it's taking him so long to get healthy, and why COACH HARB'S is so mad.we have no one to streach the field,so team's will just continue to key on S.S.3. PERRIMAN will be here long enough for a cup of coffee, why OZZIE,WHY!

The rest of the planet read a Baltimore Beatdown article that went a lil something like this...

"Research tells us that that Osgood-Schlatter disease is most prevalent amongst active boys from 12-15 years old. This is due to the rapid bone growth (growth spurts) that they experience during these periods. Essentially what happens is the bone growth exceeds the muscle growth which ends up placing excess traction upon the patellar tendon. This, along with overuse from sports, leads to increased pulling and tension at the tibial tuberosity which results in pain and swelling at that site."

"The pain symptoms associated with Osgood-Schlatter's resolve on their own once the adolescent stops growing and reaches skeletal maturity. Given Perriman's age (nearly 22) and impressive stature (6'3", 210 lbs), I think it's safe to say he doesn't have another growth spurt left in tank."

"It is important to understand that this is NOT a lifelong issue and Perriman's current injury and extended absence from practice is completely unrelated. The ONLY lingering side effect into adulthood is the presence of a more prominent tibial tuberosity."

  7. Tis is going to be about as challenging a debut for Trestman and his O as one gets... No real deep threat to utilize Flacco's arm strength - especially in the mile High's thinner air; no proven backup RB behing Forsett - and it would be a murder to leave Forsett out too much in the thin air... It's gonna be a long day for our O... that said, the Mile High Miracle game was a long one, too ;)

Even worse the forecast is calling for it to be between 90-92 degrees at Mile High on game day. :melt:
