  1. Agreed that we won't keep 10 lineman. I'd say more like 8. Reid is the obvious easiest cut... he wouldn't be the direct backup to Wagner or Monroe if they got hurt anyway, so he's basically the 4th tackle at best. Hurst and Urschel are safe to me, so that means Myers and Jensen compete for the 8th spot.

Agree but didn't they just re-sign, extend , Reid before the draft? Wouldn't that be more dead money/

  2. So have I, and I am not saying it is not wrong, it is.  They will be punished, and they have been punished.  What I am arguing is that the punishment should not be a suspension because that is an overreaction to such a small crime. I think overall, they will take a draft pick from the Pats.  Suspending Tom Brady for the opening game of the NFL season against the Steelers would hurt their TV ratings.

I hear you and as I have said this is all just my thoughts on it. I actually think the NFL has no choice but to suspend him because  this isn't the first time and mostly of the perception of the other teams as to the leagues relationship with the Patriots. I see no other options.

  3. Spygate is different. That was clearly an advantage, and a major cheat.  This one is so minor to the point where I don't think Brady even knew that it was a big deal.  Players have even said that stuff like this has been done before and they didn't even realized that it was that serious.

I have played sports all my life. Cheating, no matter in how big or small of a way, is a Big Deal.

  4. I know none of us like the Patriots, but if you honestly don't think this deflate gate thing is stupid then come on bruh. The Pats still punished the Colts in that game. If it was a close game then yeah I could see why it would be a big deal, but the Pats completely out played them, and I think people forget that. The Pats vs Ravens was the REAL AFC Championship game. Sleazy as they may be, Belichick and Brady are great. We hate them because they win, and because the way they win isn't "honorable." Yeah I understand it was cheating, and they should be punished in someway, but anything more than a fine would be an overreaction. Do we really want Brady suspended? Thats like suspending Michael Jordan for posterizing you with a slightly deflated basketball. Plus, the Pats play the Steelers in week one. Do we really want the Steelers to get a Bradyless Pats team? Just fine the Pats and Brady, and let us all get over this blown out of proportion "scandal."

I have to disagree with you here. To me, it's not about me hating the Patriots but rather the fact that they have before and continue to, mess with the integredy of the game. It doesn't matter if it had any effect or not, or how big a deal or not, the fact is they cheated. To not learn a lesson from Spygate is like slapping the rule book in the face. I know I do not speak for everyone, this is just me.

    GO RAVENS!

  5. That could happen......if we had the amount of money the Raiders have in salary cap, which we don't. I don't see us going after Mack. He will be extremely expensive and the browns could probably match our offer. I do see us bringing in a Center, I just don't know who. RT will either come from the draft or someone already on the team, not Oher.

I agree on all of that. Mack might be the #1 Center but you are right that he will be too expensive. There are still a few good FA's out there.Has Green Bay's Center Evan Dietrich Smith signed anywhere yet?

  6. I wouldn't mind Wilfork, he caves in O-lines, kind of like our O-Line got caved in last year....With Arthur gone, we need someone who can push O-linemen back, or open holes for our LBers...

If we were by chance to add Wilfork with Ngata , it would remind me of the old days with Sam Adams and Tony Siragusa. We definitely could use that! Baltimore Beast Mode.

  7. The sad truth is that the Browns have a much free bigger cap space than we do, so it seems unlikely that there could be a deal we could afford and they couldn't. And I'm also quite sure they wouldn't be too keen on the idea of losing one of their top players to a division rival...

But I agree in that it would be great.

I agree with you, however if Cleveland is really serious about getting Revis (Thats the rumor) then they might not have as much money as they need to keep Mack depending on offers. Adding Revis along with Dansby and Whitner who they already acquired is really expensive. They still could keep Mack with Revis but they would end up cutting players.

  8. True, but the Browns have essentially already acknowledged that they are willing to pay Mack $10m for this season, as thats the cost of their transition tag at the moment. So that money is already earmarked, and they are still considering Revis, Whitner, Dansby, etc., even knowing they are paying that.

I'd expect to have to pay Mack Monroe type money in order to get him, and I don't think thats a very good use of our cap space. I think its a classic overreaction by our fans. We don't need the best center in the league. Matt Birk was an average center in this league when he was a Raven.

We just need a better one, not the best one.

C'mon man-Birk was a hell of a lot better than "Average". Are you sure you are'nt Mike Preston?

  9. Monroe is definitely coming back. He has few alternatives because contrary to his or his agent's belief he wasn;t close to being in the top wants of teams other than the Ravens. I am disappointed that we have to go after Pettigrew which can only mean we aren't drafting a TE.

I think that our interest is more on the side of Owen Daniels than Pettigrew now. Just my opinion, but but apparently he has a great relationship with Kubiak. Everyone still beleives he has alot of good years left.

  10. i dont have to, you just proved what i said. Answering someone's question on the probability of an event is not the same as reporting that said event will definitively occur. youre misleading people.

besides, how far back diid you have to scroll? there's no mention of ANdre Johnson on his profile anywhere for the past week+. IF he ever said anything, it could hardly be considered relevant.

Who said anything about "Definitely" coming??? Do you not understand the word CHANCE??? Geez O' Wizz!!!   Don't make it up as you go!
