You're mistaken sir. Ed has been incredibly vocal about his desire to one coach in the future, even recently. And it clearly wouldn't be a prominent title like "Secondary Coach".. it would be under a consultant process first then lead into the leagues intern program. Also you're clearly not familiar with your football history. Mike Munchak, Gary Kubiak, Jason Garrett, Jeff Fisher, Ron Rivera, Leslie Frazier, Jim Harbaugh, Sean Payton, Mike McCoy, Doug Marrone.. then you get into the Ditka era when almost every head coach was an amazing player at one time. “I could see me working in the organization here,” Reed said. “I could see me working for Ozzie [Newsome] and those guys, and Steve [bisciotti] because I put so much into it and I know how they work. And they taught me so much. “I think I can help pretty much any organization if I’m a position coach, a consultant, whatever. But I still have a lot to learn, and I’m willing to learn because it’s a different craft when you’re talking about coaching.”

Why haven't we brought in Ed to be a assistant/consultant for the secondary His presence alone will be a constant reminder of what is expected..
