My answers to all six of Eisenberg's questions.
Who backs up Justin Forsett? Buck Allen while Taliaferro gets more goal line snaps.
Who is the No. 3 receiver? IMHO the number 3 receiver will be played by committee with Brown getting slightly more snaps than the others.
How do things shake out at tight end? While I like Pitta and I hope this isn't true, but I just cant shake the feeling that his days are numbered.
Can safety Matt Elam reclaim a bigger role? At this point I want to say no but I had my doubts about Jimmy Smith and was proven very wrong.
Is the OL healthy and good to go by September? I think the OL is one of our biggest strengths.
Who returns kickoffs and punts? There are plenty of players on the 90 man roster to do it, however don't count on the Ravens to risk a CB injury by returning kicks after last season.
It's really amazing that Joe Flacco can play under 4 OC In 4 years and I'm happy that Marc Trestman and Joe Flacco can communicate on the same pages and that they are both happy about this coming of ages, A happy camper makes a better football player, not many QB's can do this and still be productive but I can get Negs for this comment but I still feel that Cam Cameron was the one that brought up Joe Flacco for his life as a Raven, he brought him along slowly right after being draft and as luck would have it became a starter and the face of the franchise, I really can't remember another QB like Flacco being successful as he Is in this short period of time without some of the excellent named football player of other teams, this past draft was the Draft of the Century and I'm feeling the Baltimore Ravens are definitely the team to beat now. I'm seeing Joe Flacco with a bulleye on his back and I'm seeing at least 4-5 Super Bowl Rings in the next 10 years or maybe more and many many playoff games to come. Crybaby Brady and Big Ben will probably retire within the nest few years hopefully and their teams will probably not be as dominant as they usually were in the past and I don't see any other teams that can match or come near us In the future.I just love the way this franchise is coming about.
Even with my dislike for Cameron and his extremely predictable offense I must agree with you that without him perhaps Flacco doesn't pan out the way he did. Also realistically speaking 4-5 Super Bowl rings is a bit high, at most Flacco is winning 3 more rings in the next 10 years if he plays that long.
If our CB's stay healthy this year I can see Will Hill having a big year
that's the problem the offense only ever get late round picks and UFAsqb, o-line, rb, wr today and i cannot wait to see which ufa's we invite to camp
here comes round 3 looking at the last two rounds say hello to your new OLB
Allen Roberson and T West are still on the bord
well there goes Allen Roberson
Allen Roberson and T West are still on the bord
Lol. Do you really think that was a scrub pick? Do you know how winning teams are made? Do you know how dominant defenses are formed? We just got a nasty player who's going to dominate in the trenches. That's going to put more pressure on QB's. That's going to make our LB's Mosley/Smith more efficient. And that's going to make our secondary's job MUCH easier as a result. You sound like a rookie fan man. We are building our own defensive dynasty right in front of your eyes and you don't even realize it.
i think he is referring to the offensive scrub picks ie undrafted and late round WRs
well there goes Cody Latimer
Teams are now taking RBs this pick is not looking too good in hindsight
next two picks i hope goes WR and RB either order
Well Cody Latimer is droping hope he falls close enoughto us that we can make a move
This guy popped for a diluted sample at the combine I hope it doesnt amount to much
Timmy Jernigan? I get BPA and everything but when your team has needs as big as the ravens do, back to back BPA picks im not understing the logic but what do i know im just a fan
i hope we go WR this round maybe Cody Latimer, Allen Roberson, Jordan Matthews, or Donte Montcrief
I hope so Moses can't run block and Lee only bring speed to the tableI expect both Moses and Lee to be gone before our pick.
I prey we do not draft Lee
Best available or admiting a miss on 2nd rounder Brown just last year?. Dallas needed defense way more than offensive line help and they passed on Mosely taking "our" real need in this draft, O-line help. We just missed on Martin by the flip of a coin................but why would Dallas let CJ go when they need defensive LBer help so badly? In Ozzie we trust but Castillo needed us to move up one spot and save our franchise QB from another season of looking up after every passing down. Is Jensen really that good? Can Jah Reid be counted on to get Ray&Joe back to the AFC North title? The Browns improved. Bengals improved. Steelers improved and we took the best available player---In Ozzie we trust?
Ok I'm not too happy about the pick but to imply it was a bad pick is just misguided eventuly it will be Mosley and Brown as our starting ILBs.... also the steelers did not improve with their pick one of their biggest needs was at saftey and they passed on the top two safety's ....and the bengals drafted a CB and every time they draft a CB they can't bet out their aging starters.... then there is the browns they would be the only team that you could say improved from the draft but it's only has been one round and they had two picks.... As I said before I'm not too happy with the pick but IN OZZIE WE TRUST
don't know much about this guy other than what a few Bucs fans have told me, he was a decent blocker until they switched to a power-blocking scheme they also told me that just about everyone on their Oline is getting the axe either way he should do good with KO to his left and Yanda to his right
You keep talking about Mellette like he has proven something and deserves to be handed a spot on the roster. And you keep putting Mellette and Browns name together like Marlon didn't have a 600 yard and 7 TD rookie year. You are acting like he has to prove he can play. We already know he can and he will only get better. He dropped 2 or 3 potential TD's last year so he could have had around 10. And he also missed a few games with the hamstring injury. Not to mention our offense completely sucked and he and Torrey were the lone bright spots at skill positions.
it would be great if people would stop doing that brown has proven to be better than mellette and until mallette proves other wise in my eyes he is like another streeter
look steve smith isnt the answer but we need a slot WR i still think we should go for that in the draft and worry about the Oline however it seems (going off of what has been reported so far) like we will be getting steve smith i just hope its no longer than a one year deal we spent all last offseason letting people go trying to get younger why would we just change that whit a old steve smith... if we do pick up a WR in FA i would go with Julian Edelman he's a lot younger
Am I the only one who DOESN'T want Steve Smith? Sure, he's had a great career and all, but he is past his prime. We need to use the money on picking up a FS or another TE. I think we should get Clemons at FS and Owen Daniels at TE and draft a WR in the first round. I'd rather have a 1st round rookie who is fresh than a 35 year old receiver who is past his prime.
you are not the only one i dont want steve smith but if we do sign him i hope its only on a 1 year deal
if we sign steve smith it should be on a one year deal mostly due to his age but we still need to draft a WR hopefully evens fall to number 17
Just read on PFT Graham just inked a 4 year deal with the bills I hope we can get something done with D.Smith and with the broncos rumored to have interest in him they are signing defensive players left and right

I have faith that Flacco and the FO wont have a problem redoing his deal to drop his cap number to $20mil a year with an extinction through 2020. Now if Flacco has a 2012 postseason or better I doubt Flacco budges and I don't blame him.
