Vegas (Bovada) projects the Ravens to be an 8-8 team so I would not bet the ranch on 4-12.

As I recall, the Ravens have been having a string of road game loses and have been equally unimposing at home. So many recovering ACL and other serious injuries also does not bode well for a highly successful season. I expect an improvement over last season but Cincinnati and Pittsburgh are still the teams to beat. The nine games after the bye feel like 3 & 6 at the moment. Vegas lists them as basically an 8-8 team; anything more seems like a purple kool aid pick.

I don't know why everyone here thinks SSSr is a lock. He's 37, he retired, was injured, un-retired and is rehabbing. People seem to think he'll perform as if he was 34 again. I for one am not buying it. I love his fiery spirit and I hope he fully recovers, but Ozzie needs to have a heart-2-heart with him. He's taking a roster spot from a young'in.

I can understand SSSr not wanting to end his career being carried off the field but I would be very surprised if he adds much to the receiving corps. Same feeling with Suggs; coming back from major injuries at their age, and being highly productive, is nearly impossible.

No sense in pining over what wasn't meant to be. A 40% success rate from this draft would be nice.

All in all a very solid draft from Oz et al. Time to support our guys in all ways possible. Training camp will be interesting. Can't wait.

Add another OLineman, another OLBer, an ILBer, a CB, a WR and repeat ... holes are starting to be filled. Only time will tell how the draft went, but hope springs eternal.

Cowboys continue to be a thorn in the Ravens side on draft day. Just another reason to hate on them.

The myth of the Ravens always taking BPA is put to rest with this pick. Stanley is a solid player, but hardly the best in the mind of most.

It still turned out to be a lose-lose case for us. We lost the higher draft pick and the Steelers still made the playoffs...hollow victories.

I am also absolutely hating our mocks with Stanley and Elliot. We are essentially in win now mode with the hopes of retaining valuable players for the future. Stanley won't immediately start and I just don't see him being worth the 6th pick. Just look at many of the recent top tackles that were hyped up and have failed to look like top 5-10 picks. Jake Matthews, Robinson, Joeckel, Fisher, etc. None of those guys look like Joe Thomas or Tyron Smith lol It just shows that even though they are going at early slots, doesn't mean they are worth it. Elliot will be a stud at the pro level and while I'll be pretty upset that we didn't address our other major holes, I still see him making a big splash in our offense. He is a legit top 10 talent, but I don't see him as being quite on the level of Gurley though. Ultimate outcome of our first pick is we get a game changer on defense that will be a huge contributor for +10 years, such as a Ramsey, Bosa, Buckner, Jack, or even Hargreaves, maybe if all the planets align we could get the true elite LT in Tunsil, but just a month away.

We all knew beating the Steelers at the end of the season was gonna cost us a game-changer pick.

I had a very similar idea the other day: each team should be given two unsuccessful challenges per game - meaning each team could go on challenging any challengeable ruling until their second challenge that doesn't result in the reversal of the original ruling. If it's 10 good challenges before the second unsuccessful one, it's 10. If it's zero, it's zero.

Totally agree, makes no sense to penalize a team that challenges an officials erroneous call.
