NFL Live just rated the Eagles O-line ahead of the Ravens o-line. Practice this week should be VERY exciting for all...our D vs their O just for starters.
NO FIGHTING...pushing and shoving, kicking and gouging is OK.
once again it seems improper hydration issues at camp.
torn muscles, cramps, and heat related issues, all on younger guys. whats the common denominator here? they all point directly to a lack of hydration. and them being younger guys, they could be a bit careless with their hydration, the coaches need to get up in their you-know-what's about staying hydrated
Sipping from a water bottle during practice or a workout doesn't cut it.
Half a gallon of water a day, every day would be a minimal amount for these men with the amount of exercise they put in. If their nutritionists and coaches are not hammering this home...shame on them.
fusuymada, as GM of your Fantasy football team you do need to consider Perriman's production in your Fantasy world, and leave the big-boy stuff to the real-world professionals.
Latest Power Rankings have us third, behind Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, in our own division and 11th best team in the NFL. Early this morning on Mike and Mike they, the all-encompassing "they", talked about the AFCs best defenses and best front 7s and Baltimore never once was mentioned. Five and six teams were mentioned but not the Ravens. I'm pretty sure there is not a bulletin board for video diss' of a team's abilities but if there were, this morning's M&M would be included. Baltimore, as is often the case, is flying under the radar but will surprise many as the wins accumulate.
It's TebowTime on the NFL Network...fan excitement reaching a fevered pitch...media watching with bated trap.

The good news about Perriman and Brown missing practices is that Butler and Waller are getting all the chances to make the team. I'm still hoping they all shine and we keep 7WRs---one for SSS' spot next year.
Must be something in the air. I tried to give it a thumbs up to offset your mistake and accidentally hit the down arrow, too. Poor RavensBaltimore is going to wonder what's going on.
Not to worry, I gave him 3 up arrows.
I wonder if Jacoby's release was as more about clearing slots for new blood in the WR corps than it was about saving money.
In addition to clearing slots, I thought it was also about poor decision making; too often JJ ran kicks out of the end zone (and ended up shy of the 20) when he should have taken a knee leaving Joe with a long field.
Sometime this preseason, I'd like Harbs to bench JTuck for a game and GO4IT on 4th down every time. We gotta quit settling for field goals and start forcing touchdowns. Just a thought. ![]()
Tonite the only excitement will be watching the saints D pick off and crush schaub.......and watching our D of course.......schaub is so bad we won't be able to gauge our offensive players very well.....So Bad....
I was not thinking quite so negatively, but I'm also interested in the QB situation...specifically if Renner can play the position. In any event...thank God football has arrived.
Perriman, fastest man on the club....to the tub.
Steve Smith grabbing that Bengal-baby and throwing him to the ground...I still can't believe that didn't draw a flag...smn...but it sure makes for an entertaining highlight.
I like Courtney ... he's quietly AWESOME.
Thanks! You really covered everything. Any details on the battle between Brynn Renner vs Schaub?
One never knows what Harbs will do but the QB battle in the pre-season games could be very telling. Ozzie liked Renner and we know Schaub; should be fun watching them.
Some players need more time to grow. Jimmy smith? Not all players can go to a new team and be thrown into the fire like that and succeed. He had one bad game. Against tom brady. Enough said. Thank god you arent a coach or GM. It was his fifth game. I dont care how many practice squads hes been on. Those arent real gametime experience. I cant wait til he shows up this year. You keep bringng up that one game and thats it. How many games did he play for us? Ok then. Enough said.
Some day I'd like to read a non-Raven fan post a similar comment, "he had one bad game, against Joe Flacco; enough said." R-E-S-P-E-C-T
... The guy messed up bigtime....
Aside from the mess up, it's forgotten that Ray took Janay to AC for a Valentine's Day couple-a-day getaway. His intentions were romantic; the results catastrophic.
Everything I've read about both (outside of Webb failing his cond test) has been nothing but positive. I even read there's no way you can keep Means off the 53 man roster b/c of the way he's been playing. Go figure.
Agree. All these talking-heads are doing is talking, except for LaCanfora. He decided to peer into his crystal ball and create a news story instead of report facts. Sounds like deflate-gate reporting. Pathetic.
Anyone else hear Harbs talking up Trawick and the plan to try him more as a "slot LB" b/c of his size & cover skills??? I suspect that position occurs when the offense loads up with receivers. I wonder what the backend looks like in that situation--a 6/5 look, and who are the other players in that formation? ![]()
Cripe. you'd think the Cowboys were the champs. They're getting covered almost everyday. It's ridiculous. I have yet to see any coverage of Ravens training camp, except here.
I have not seen any Ravens coverage or notice of future coverage, but it is very early into TCs. Maybe in the next few weeks I'm hoping.
"Highlights from the evening:" include Perriman and Dumervil watching from the sidelines, and 3 players NOT practicing? If that's what you are kicking off the highlight reel with Garrett I'm glad I missed it.
SportsCenter is at Patriots, Cowboys and Browns training camps today.
I just don't know how they're going to make a decision this year.

That's 65 guys already that I'd say have a legitimate shot at this roster. That doesn't even include guys like Fitz Toussaint, Terrence Magee, Tom Nelson, Aldrick Robinson, etc. that would compete for a spot in the typical offseason. Cuts are going to be so tough this year.
rmw10, If you don't object, your post seems like a great place to track injuries of potential squad member.

“Aiken made difficult grabs on two Matt Schaub passes that sailed behind him while running across the middle.” That's why Matt is here ... to identify the WRs that can catch errant passes b/c Joe's are on target and everyone catches them.

When I first wrote that post I said a gallon a day but then backed it down to half a gallon--didn't want them sloshing around. Thanks for confirming my initial thought.
