  1. Ravens play the Browns, Jaguars, then the Raiders. We lost to all 3 of them last season. If we can right those wrongs and be 4-0 only then will we become a blip on someones radar. Until then, I'm happy to let last years IR players get back into game shape.
  2. So nice reading this site yesterday and today and not seeing a list of injured Ravens. Wishing n Hoping they stay healthy this season. Re the Ravens offense ... yes, it was offensive, and if 20 points per is the best they average this season, well then, we're in trouble. This is an offense-oriented league and if they can't average 27 ppg, they will not be playoff contenders.
  3. Every week our wounded warriors can play, contribute and not re-injure themselves is a huge positive for the Ravens. We had so many go down last year that I let out a huge sigh of relief after yesterday's game. Stay Healthy Ravens
  4. The censorship on this site is ridiculously Machiavellian.
  5. Big sigh of relief from me that Joe could take the hits and keep going. Pees and the D looked good, receivers looked good; O-line withstood the pressure and everyone stayed healthy. Well done Ravens.
  6. Myles Garrett may make it to the AFC North but it will most likely be with the Cleveland Browns.
  7. The onus for a successful Raven season rests with the coordinators. On paper, the talking-heads, in general, rate us as a .500 team. It's up to Trestman and Pees to build the game plans that take us to the playoffs. Rex Ryan and the Bills will give us a great indication of who we are and I'm cheering for a 'W'.
  8. I hope Justin Tucker doesn't set an NFL record for most FG attempts this season; that would be totally deflating.
  9. Ravens got the 10 PS players plus Butler and Ochi are still available to us if the need arises, though we'd have to poach them from another team's PS.
  10. All very exciting and on-going. Check back Tuesday.
  11. John said it all in the 2nd sentence ... there are so many unknowns it's hard to predict with confidence. I'm not from Missouri but you can list me in the Show Me column with this offense.
  12. Bring on Rex, TT and the Bills; let's get this party started.
  13. People are putting way too much hope and faith in the play of Suggs and Dumerville. They may be an upgrade over the preseason starters but neither is a worldbeater anymore.
  14. Without reiterating everything said previously on this thread, I'm still underwhelmed with our team both offensively and defensively. They may be an improved team but still look like an 8-8 team, plus or minus 1 game.
  15. A 12 ranking seems appropriate and puts us at a 9-7 record. All our NFC opponents are ranked lower and I'd love to sweep them.
  16. Very nice analysis flex; though I disagree here and there (sweeping the Steelers, 2 years in a row, I don't think so). They have lots of potential but until proven capable, that's all it is. DBs are improved but still questionable, pass rush (Suggs/Doom) looks good on paper only , LBs, even Mosley, are suspect. Offensively Flacco and the Ravens have never been prolific and always take the FG instead of the TD -- we lose close games bc we can't punch it in. Lots of potential but still a team in need of pieces -- the Ravens, to me, look like a 9-7 team.
  17. Having read the article, dameshek is pretty much on point with all that he said about the ravens players. We may not like his ranking system and his projected triplets but we're still in the dead-zone for NFL reporting and any story, no matter how inane, draws eyeballs.
  18. 8-8 until they (hopefully) prove themselves a more formidable team.
  19. I sure hope you're right about Frazier and the D schemes. Pees has never been creative with his game plan or in-game adjustments. Perhaps the addition of Frazier to the staff will rectify that.
  20. That wasn't a duck, that was a pig.
  21. All in for day one....sounds familiar. Hope the O-line protects him.
  22. And his left foot is twice the size of his right. Must be photoshopped.
  23. I think Cliff Brown nailed it, “If the Ravens make the playoffs, nobody should say they didn’t deserve it. The road to the postseason looks anything but easy.”
  24. Ok, that was stupid.
  25. And so it begins...
