  1. Pittsburgh loses...Cincinnati loses...Cleveland loses...Baltimore loses...Heck of a day for the division.
  2. I'm optimistic the O will perform better wo Trestman's leadership and that gives us a good chance to steal 2 from the New Yorkers and hit the bye week at 5-2 and on the upswing heading into divisional play.
  3. Foot dragging is taught to players throughout their time in college, but only good players learn it.
  4. Joe's an average QB (for being elite) but there are roughly 15 other QBs that are just as "elite" as he in any given year.
  5. Now that Mornhinweg has the reigns, I hope to see a game plan that exploits an opponents weaknesses as opposed to taking what they give us; some creative play calling, a little misdirection, and most importantly...put Joe and the receivers in favorable situations. Our team has its strengths and their team has weaknesses, maximize ours and exploit theirs.
  6. So,,, the Ravens won't be running the table on the NFC East this year. I'm wondering if we'll be able to salvage even one win against that division; we'll pretty much know after next week. Hmmm
  7. Hard to comprehend all the young guys inactive again. What are the Ravens doing?
  8. I see the Redskin game as an opportunity for the Ravens to start a new 3-0 run. Some good play calling and some good play in the coming weeks will tell us all we need to know about this team and its future this season.
  9. In a passing league, it would be nice to have some defenders that can cover and some linemen that can protect. Therefore, and based on bpa to fill our wide range of needs: LBs that can cover, CB/S to upgrade coverage, an edge rusher (tho Kauflusi will be returning from IR), an O-liner to protect Joe and every now and then open a hole for the RB,and a WR with some talent. Not much to ask for but each draft the FO needs to continue to hit on 3~4 talented replacements as they have been doing that in recent years. In Ozzie We Trust
  10. PLAYOFFS??? You're talking PLAYOFFS? I'm just wondering if the Ravens can win another game. Thanks Jim. lol
  11. That's a good dream; so keep dreaming of Raven wins.
  12. In praise of Kyle Shanahan ... and Julio. Perriman is wishing he had a OC with the imagination and 21st century schemes to allow him to excel.
  13. Ravens are who we thought they were --- an 8-8 team in need of more talent and better coordinators.
  14. I'd prefer Stanley sit a game or 2, if that's what's needed, instead of him pulling a JJWatt and being done for the year.
  15. Ravens toughest matchup was 2 weeks ago when they spotted Cleveland 20 pts and had to make a comeback on the road. Admittedly, the Raiders have a more talented roster but the Ravens have travel and home field advantages.
  16. The next 4 games I'm really excited about. All 4 teams are average to above average in ability and media expectations -- right in the Ravens wheelhouse. If we can excel and/or hold our own in the win-loss column, then the rest of the season holds promise.
  17. Not the Ravens fault the comp they have faced so far this season is worse than they. Their chance to show their stuff is coming soon enough.
  18. There are probably 10 teams that will be replacing franchise QBs b4 the Ravens even begin considering life after Joe, and most of those teams will be drafting multiple QBs until they hit on the right guy. As we all know, an early round pick is no guarantee of success. If you want to know what the Ravens will do, watch what these other teams do in the coming years. There's no formula only trial and error and I might add ... a lot of errors. Let's just hope we can postpone this discussion as long as possible.
  19. This comeback is a chunk of franchise history the organization should aggressively be sweeping under the carpet never to be spoken of again. The Cleveland Browns ... are you kidding me? smh
  20. I remain pessimistically optimistic...we won but the refs gifted us a taunting penalty. With that 1st down, I can only surmise McCown would have completed the 75 yard game winning drive. Happily though we're a 2-0 team but will again be severely tested by mediocre talent next week in J'ville.
  21. Ravens still need to hit the reload button next draft for S, CB, LBs, & WRs. This year, "experience" is the name of the game.
  22. Can't wait to see Judon and Correa get after McCown. Though the Ravens are overwhelmingly favored, the question to be answered is can they meet expectations and dominate Cleveland?
  23. This will be the game board followers have clamored for...the Ravens will run, run, run the rock, and let Cleveland and McCown stay in it. SMH
