  1. Thanks Tx; that's what I wanted to hear. We got a good one.
  2. Any thoughts on the reason DeAndre was the 50th rated WR in this years draft class?
  3. Maxx Williams is the best TE in this years class, but I wonder where he rates against Tyler Eifert, Zach Ertz, Eric Ebron, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, & Jace Amaro from 2 previous classes.
  4. We're here to help.
  5. Google it.
  6. I'm not messing with them until they replace these >>> on this site.
  7. Lazy boy.
  8. Jimmy is such a good corner, I hope he imparts some of his wisdom to the young WRs and helps them learn how to get open in the NFL. If the receivers don't run their routes correctly and crisply I hope he slaps them around until they learn proper technique.
  9. Will this do the trick? http://www.nj.com/giants/index.ssf/2014/09/nfl_short-term_injured_reserve_how_it_works_what_it_means_to_giants_ol_geoff_schwartz.html Does your googler not work?
  10. If Perriman is beaten out by Brown/Aiken/Butler (3 UdFAs) Ozzie will be very disappointed. Not saying Perriman needs to start game 1 but by game 5 he needs to be engrained in the offense.
  11. None of the rooks have to play GREAT but if the top 4 picks can play WELL we'll be in great shape going forward. Ravens have plenty of talent elsewhere that the coaches should be able to develop the rookies and not overwhelm them. Basic rookie production with the arrow pointing upward would satisfy me.
  12. I was thinking he was Jacoby Jones-like, size, speed, position. He's supposed to be able to catch the ball but if that's an issue he could still receive kickoffs. Anywho lol I'm sure the coaches will figure it out. And thanks for not neg'in me for asking a question.
  13. Trestman basically game-plans Ray Rice type numbers for rushes and receptions and I have zero problem with that. And I'm not arguing Trestman's history, just noting the Chicago/Cutler clustermuck. Marc should have all the weapons/talent he needs to orchestrate a top 10 offense.
  14. Part of the reason Cutler threw so often to his RB was b/c he was flustered/frustrated with everything and just wanted to get rid of the ball. I seriously doubt we'll be throwing 100x to our RBs. Cutler, like RG3, is regressing and needs a total restart to rebuild his confidence.
  15. Steve Bisciotti said the Ravens would not have to travel in the playoffs as often as in the past. I think Ozzie has done all he can to make that a reality. Ravens split with Pittsburgh but win the division.
  16. Perriman is not an option???
  17. Ten DL may be competing for a job but there are only 3DL positions. I'm thinking we keep 8 with Chris Canty as a bubble 9th guy, since we cut him once already; depends on how well the younger guys step-up in TC. Four LB positions, so 8~9 players. Last year I believe Art Brown dressed for only 3~4 games. At DB, 4 positions and 8~9, probably 9, versatile players. My thinking on 7WRs is for next year as much as anything. With SSS likely gone and IF (big if) 6 WRs excel in TC it may be worth the extra WR on the roster this year. I agree that getting down to 53 is always a tough task with so many quality candidates. Harbs could go 24-O & 26-D though, but not 23-27.
  18. I'm confused by your reply. I identified 25 offensive positions including 7WR & 9OL. You are suggesting 5WRs & 8OL I believe. Oh h***, it hardly matters. Harbs and Ozzie will do what Harbs and Ozzie do. lol
  19. I'm all in favor of strengthening the roster but if they sign a vet who do you suggest they cut?
  20. idk about 7 WRs starting, but I have 7 WRs making the 53. When thinking of 2016 and to loss of SSS, to me, it makes sense to keep the receivers we have and give them a thorough eval during the season. I think we can afford it with: 2QB, 4RB, 9OL, 3TE, 7WR. Pitta on PUP. I hope no one gets "stashed" on IR...that's a career ending move.
  21. If Trestman//Flacco target Forsett more often than last season, I'll be very disappointed. Not that I think he's not capable but our WRs//TEs need the bulk of targets/receptions/yards. If Flacco is throwing check-downs it means our receivers are not getting open (or the o-line is struggling) and with this group and their diversity that should not be the case.
  22. The fun begins in a fortnight; looking forward to it. With the quality of this team, it should be a very enjoyable season.
  23. I'm hoping to see an imaginative, unpredictable, successful offense that will take us a long way this season. Of course I'd like another SB but I'm not going to put that on Marc &/or Joe.
  24. Haloti was talking to the Detroit Free Press, of course he praised his new team // teammates.
  25. Seems like Zrebiec thinks 60 people or so will make the roster this season. To summarize, "historically", under Harbs, the Ravens could have anywhere between 4~7 WRs, same with CBs--can never have too many. With all the young talent on the D-line, eight could be kept. Okay Garrett, thanks for passing this useless information on. Most helpful .
