TBH.... I really don't care if any of our starters play the rest of the preseason. If they do and that helps timing then great... if they don't... there is little chance of them getting hurt. IDK>.... it think the risk in PS is much greater then the reward!
I think that Waller and Boyle will both make the 53 man roster and as the season progresses contribute more and more. Although they will both have their opportunities early (Boyle with Pitta being on the PUP list for 6 weeks) and Waller with Perriman (missing most of camp... it may take Perriman some time to get up to speed - where Waller could step in and do some damage right away!_)
Love to hear about Wallers growth and development.... the kid has a ton of potential!
We don't need Chip Kelly to tell us who is legit on the RAvens and who is not. HArbs track record in the NFL means a lot more then Kellys does!
NOW just stay HEALTY!
Love our young and talented DL.... Wlliams-Timmy and Davis..... we have some superstars upfront!
Nice to see Campanaro showing why we drafted him!
love the leadership on this team!
I think Perry makes the team and in two years....could prove to be a steal... he needs a little time to grow into the position fully but the ability is there and being in BMORE would give him that luxury... I think NICK will be a RAVEN for some time! Another great Ozzie pickup!
Good to hear that Benard Pierce is doing well but wow in he in a loaded backfield. 1. BP, 2. TJ Yeldon 3. Denard Robinson 4. Storm Johnson 5. Toby Gearhart.... IDK.... but that seems like a lot of talent... maybe JAX isn't getting the most out of the talent they have and why we ended up with a diamond in the rough in Forsett?????
I am excited to see how some of these guys develop.... Carl Davis looks to be plug in and play guy as do a couple of rookies... (Maxx -Perriman-etc.) but I am most excited to see how all of the 2nd year guys progress. Timmy J, Brooks, LTalifero, CJ, Gilmore, Hurst, Urschel, Melvin (kinda), Forsett (2nd year raven), SSS (same), Campanaro, and Will Hill etc... That is 12 players from just last season (or about 1/5th of our roster) they played great last year... if they can step up their game another notch along with solid contribution from our rookies and 1st year players like Kendrick Lewis... etc. We will be very difficult to beat on a weekly basis! (and for some time to come)
Glad he is back.... his athleticism and physicality will provide some freedom to do some things that we couldn't without him and he will be a year more polished. We are truly two deep at S again!
IDK....don't sound like Harbs is very optimistic about Pitta????? which may explain more about why we drafted 2 TE's this season?
IDK.... I do kinda feel like most of these are non-issues:
Start with Perriman: Like I said in another post... odell beckham missed most of camp for the giants last season and still had a pretty good year. Perriman had an MRI that found not structural damage... he is fine and will be in the mix soon... and his raw skills will be a problem for opposing defenses!
Team injuries... we have depth everywhere and while it sux to lose ELAM and URBAN... I think we are as prepared as anyteam in the NFL to absorb some injuries.
Schaub.... first off.... let me start by saying that Joe hasn't missed a start... so this may all be worry over clean up duty. 2nd Schaub is a veteran and knows what it takes to win in this league... in a game he will not take the same chances as he does in practice or even preseason contests. Schaub is smart and can step in and play well for us if needed (and that is a big IF)...this really is a non-issue. Remember that he is learning a new system too....Schaub will be fine
The short yardage offense... (I think it is still too early to tell. We have some weapons... LTalifero looked good... We have Maxx Williams, Boyle, Gilmore and Possibly Pitta to make an impact in short yardage offense... We have yet to see how Trestman is going to fully utilize Juice... we have CAMP... who can be dangerous in these siutations.... way too early to tell how Trestman is going to deploy all of his weapons.... ohhh and Waller may be that mismatch in these situations too!
THe Run D.... Non -issue...while it always hurts to lose a superstar.... Haloti wasn't getting younger but our DL did.... Bwilliams, TJernigan, and CDavis all are very young and talented up front but it don't stop there... LGuy is better then advertised... KLM may be able to step in an make an impact... DTyson has been solid over the years and each year gets a little better... We do still have Canty andI think our DL is very good... infact I think our front 7 is still on of the top 5 front 7's in the league
I am concerned about the Return game.... Maybe Camp will step up and take it over... maybe it will be DeAndre Carter? IDK... but this is still a guestion mark... hope Camp steps up and assumes this role....
The one issue that I am concerned with that wasn't mentioned...is Marlon Brown... (and even Kamar Aiken) can they step up and be more then just role players? We need them to produce (at least one of them) JButler is making a strong bid but I don't know if any are ready to become that #1, #2 or even full time # 3 guy?
remember ... Odell Beckham had missed most of camp last season for the giants and he still had a pretty good year... I am not overly concerned... The MRI showed to be normal.... Perriman will be alright!
Love the intensity but be careful out there!
Reevis don't typically lead the league in picks but he takes away half of the field. QB's don't like to go his way so he is always going to have less.... That is what a top CB should bring to the game and I think we have that in Jimmy. He needs some help though - if Webb and Arrington can step up and if our S play is strong (which I am excited about this season). And we don't give a QB all day - a QB cannot be so selective against us and that is when Jimmy and others will start to win the turnover battle for us! WIth that being said... I would love to see Peas turn up the pressure this year a lot more and stop giving this QB's all day in a pass friendly league!
Good to hear that Urban and Carl Davis are having a great camp. Havent heard much about KLM????
Welcome big guy... lets see what you got... it is crowded but if Ozzie sees something in you... You have to have some potential! Love the competition!
Not sure that ABrown is really trade bait. We know that DSmith isn't exactly young and may not have a ton of years left. It would be smart to keep Brown ... a young talent who knows the system.... ready to step in if there should be an injury or in another year or so... we will keep him for cheap and not sure what his trade value is at this point. I really believe that he is more valuable in BMORE then anywhere else right now. I think McClellan will be gone before the end of camp!
We really do have depth everywhere... but S right now. Wonder if Ozzie will move to add depth or if they are happy with Trawick right now(who actually looks very good so far)!
I love CH and felt that he was robbed on ROY last year.... hoping the DPOY is in store for him this year... I think that if he takes his pass coverage to the next level and adds a little muscle... he will be the most feared LB in the game right now! He reminds me a ton of Patrick Willis!
Camp showing why he could be a steal... he is impressive when healthy!
Glad see Campanaro back and healthy... hope he stays that way!

I wouldn't be shocked if Ozzie picks up a KR / PR in the upcoming cuts as teams try to get the rosters trimmed down now!
