Additional cameras might make it harder to employ those deceptive angles to convince TV viewers it's legit. Of course, it all boils down to which angles and viewpoints that we get to see, which is not all of them.
Nice to see him get a couple catches, but there are better options sitting on the Raven bench now. He's not all back, and he surely knows it. Men get real, boys dream.
I'll try a 2 dollar steak, where do I go?
What doctors say mean nothing. How he feels and performs is what matters. Full recovery for Achilles tears takes a lot of time. Doubtful he and Suggs see much game time this year.
Absurd to say just having a less than fully recovered (if he even does get there) Suggs on the field provides additional competitiveness, especially if the young guys can get to the QB quicker, which is probably the case.
Preventative procedure? Wow, must have been some sales pitch from an enthusiastic medical "professional".
Whoever is accountable for Ravens rehab programs needs to be let go. Dismal track record.
Coaching is about understand the game and communicating it. The two together are actually quite rare.
Teddy Roosevelt was the first to mess it up (politics as usual), then they kept making it worse, to make it more exciting. The game was never intended to be played with a hard shell helmet, which is now naturally used a battering ram during play. The NFL won't go back to the original game, but there would be popular interest in that if some consortium would investigate it. Restore the game of true grit.
Odd how Harbaugh doesn't indicate a conditioning issue with Campanero. Obviously the training staff doesn't have him in the right conditioning program (were they to know what one was).
Oh come on, Harbaugh. Thick legged RBs pull muscles, has more to do with being stiff from too many bad workouts, than not working out enough. Ravens conditioning program has been very suspect over recent years. Need to train smarter, not harder.
Sapp did Jerrigan a huge favor without trying. Make or break season.
Bengals have drafted better than Ravens over recent years, and this year looks that as well.
Billings for one.
Bengals have drafted better than Ravens over recent years, and this year looks that as well.
Sad, the Ravens are scared of what they'll say if they go with a guy with some past issues. Man up, guys deserve chances to turn things around.
Get Broxton's take on Oakman. If good, sign him too.
Just watched vid on the kid, the TX game. Apparently they didn't. Nothing special. Head scratcher.
This move seems more reactive than proactive, as the Ravens have looked far less than cutting edge in terms of injury prevention and recovery. Problem is, and it's industry wide (but no excuse), stale conventional thinking has been institutionalized. Irony is, the athletes themselves are where the real knowledge lies, as they've been through it and know what works and what doesn't. The medical professionals mostly rely on their backgrounds and new scientific studies from their counterparts that want to make names and money for themselves. But most is learned from the unbiased subject (the athlete) of the real trials. In terms of what I think the Ravens are looking for, perhaps better to just survey a large population of over-30 players and learn what they have learned about how to stay in the game. Can't argue with real outcome. "61 Custom Rebuild"
"...under our medical care with the trainers, Newsome said. “
Uh-oh. Said same about Pitta.
Bad shoulders are typically the sign of dumb training. Not surprising, fits the pattern.
Old on defense doesn't win championships.
Sign him as staff. The man knows the position better than anyone. He could suit up in a pinch.
Thanks for the great years, TS, and best of luck moving forward in life.
Great D lines win championships. Ravens currently don't have that.

Biggest OL problem is Zuttah. Surely Urshel or Jensen must be getting considered. Refs missed him holding on the Flaccos TD. He's over the hill.
