  1. Bengals have drafted better over recent years. Just a fact.
  2. Need the consistency that Ray Rice gave them his first few years, before he put on weight.
  3. Playmakers on the DL are the biggest difference makers. Lawson fits. Billings the Baylor junior also makes sense.
  4. Stay at the pick and look for DT Billings or other top defensive playmaker.
  5. To be honest, by the way they played, it seemed like the DL was going uncoached. Everybody just doing their thing to mediocre results.
  6. Also might want to audit the Refs' off shore bank accounts.
  7. Burfick has played without suspension through 2016, clearly intending to injure opponents on a regular basis. Also this year, NFL heavily promoting concussion awareness. It's not adding up. What's the cabal really up to?
  8. Your best chance of improving the pass rush is having some big disruptive interior linemen who can penetrate. Urban can definitely be part of that if he can develop some technique. Overall Ravens interior DL has potential but technique is lacking. Need coaching upgrade on DL.
  9. He hasn't taken control from his doctors and physical therapists who are just profiting from their failed regimens. Master your own body.
  10. If there's a beast DL in the draft, get him one way or another.
  11. They played well in pretending not to be trying to lose!
  12. Eyes should be on the most beast-like D lineman in the draft. Trade up if necessary.
  13. Not everybody can return to form from an achilles rupture, if that's really what it was.
  14. The refs could have called both Steeler Tackles for being too far off (supposed to be "inches" not feet) the LOS. Still not sure Upshaw was over, as the sideline shot (below link) is an optimal illusion via camera lens perspective. That said, wouldn't be the first time Steelers get a little help. https://cdn3.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/p_QtTtuct3H-r6Yvi7EYzW9C-vQ=/0x0:699x466/709x473/cdn0.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/48442207/CXQpjMhWAAAdqoN.0.0.jpg_large
  15. https://cdn1.vox-cdn.com/thumbor/RahNcBmNH0kxIszcuVzd0Nna4EI=/0x0:699x466/2400x1600/cdn0.vox-cdn.com/uploads/chorus_image/image/48442207/CXQpjMhWAAAdqoN.0.0.jpg_large NFL optical illusion to sell the penalty. This camera shot would make any left side DE look offsides. Ravens were not supposed to win this game, despite all supporting staff efforts.
  16. Jenson was one of those "just needed a chance" guys. Watching Yanda developing a similar mental game, then getting enough reps to refine it. Need a couple more like this on the roster. Retain D Smith as a coach!
  17. Refs at best are paid to makes games close, and at worst, to swing them. It's not sport, but profitable entertainment.
  18. Trestman doesn't have it. Harbaugh looks lost. Ozzie's better days are behind him. The tradition is fizzling out. Biscuits and gravy needs better potion.
  19. If Ravens' medical staff says it's torn, it could be anything.
  20. Funny (not haha) year.
  21. Smith's scar needs some explaining. Definitely not typical for the injury. I went without surgery, cast or boot, already running again at just four months.
  22. Ravens medical staff needs to come under scrutiny. Even left alone, these injuries heal better.
  23. Mistake to operate on a torn muscle. Wind up worse off than if you just give it time.
  24. I tore my achilles this past July. I'm a lot older than Steve (google "61 custom rebuild"). Best to take as much time as the healing needs, but despite what they say, I believe you CAN come back stronger from that injury, so long as you don't let the surgeons mess it up. I went without surgery, no boot, just basically walking it off, long walk. A little better each day with still a long ways to go. He could be playing again at some point in 2017, but game one is probably not wise. During the down time he could work on staying loose and regaining the muscular balance that you lose doing conventional training, and come back feeling like he's 25 again. Age is just a number that means little.
  25. Oh come on, who doesn't think the NFL refs are paid to manage outcomes? Been like this for years, but now high gear. Did the backroom cabal decide this would not be Raven's year? Might want to stop watching.
