  1. More points coming before the half now...
  2. Offense needs to stop HOLDING on this drive and put some points up, defense can only do so much.
  3. Ladies and gentlemen, your Baltimore Holding Penalties. At least everything else looking improved this week for the team.
  4. 31st ranked defense in the NFL, need to see more ATTACKING like this from Trestman.
  5. good stop, now can the offense actually get a drive going without 3 penalties?
  6. Oh surprise, another penalty..stop shooting yourselves in the foot Offense!
  7. Juice is probably the best "modern" fullback in the NFL
  8. lol @ the penalties, time to play field position
  9. Hurst started the Raiders game last year for Monroe and we had a good game offensively then, defense was the problem last year. Stop hating on the guy unless it is proven today.
  10. "I'll always respect those who came b4 me no matter if you're a future HOF'er or a career backup until you give me a reason not to." Posts picture implying his dominance over Forsett. So I'm curious as to what his beef with Forsett is then because Justin is the opposite of Steve ego-wise as far as everything we've been told goes, I find it hard to believe he was smack talking Ramsey as well,
  11. It's funny when you hear all of these talking heads assume Flacco isn't a mobile enough of a QB. Just because he is a pocket passer first doesn't mean dude can't run, they obviously forget his first TD in his first game ever was a 30+ yard TD run.
  12. How about Pitta? Complete opposite of his last Cleveland game. I also continue to wonder what chasm this team would be in without Justin Tucker and the rest of his "Wolfpack." Just to echo everyone else, the run game has to get better fast..
  13. Correa will probably get some OLB snaps this week anyway if Zadarius is a no go. Suggs and Judon can't do it alone. McClellan is our new Upshaw as far as when he is playing OLB to set the edge, not bringing much in the pass rush department (and when he actually did last week he couldn't finish).
  14. It's just one week I know but the country can keep jumping on the Steelers' jockstraps all they like. We all knew their offense would be good but that defense just proved exactly what most of us already knew about it. A better team would've made them pay for giving up almost 400 yards. I think the Bengals take it next week on the back of a defense that can actually get after the QB.
  15. Crockett was looking almost Gronk-esque on a few catches last year and being the best blocker of the three gets him on the field a little more than Dennis and Maxx in single TE sets IMO. I think he is in for the biggest year of the three if he can stay healthy but that has been the issue with all three players so really any one of them may end up with the biggest season stat wise on that factor alone.
  16. With how much this team demands versatility juxtaposed by how well he played on offense, I'm honestly surprised they never gave Butler a look at return specialist in training camp and preseason when it can't hurt.
  17. I think it's funny that this staff preaches versatility in every way, often at the expense of keeping a player where he is best suited. Yet we're about to have an over-the-hill one trick pony as our return specialist. Does Hester even have anything left in the tank? I don't remember hearing his name very often last year and I live in an area that regularly broadcasts Falcons games.
  18. I'll just echo what everyone else has said but I do not get the Forsett, Butler, and Brooks cuts one bit, especially with Butler showing up strong all offseason through preseason and Brooks having a great game all around Thursday night...they must be confident Dixon will be back from that sprain ASAP as well. I love my Ravens but I hope these three cuts don't bite them in the butt. Time will tell I guess
  19. My thoughts exactly. Urschel in '14 and Jensen last year both proved they are more than capable of handling the left guard spot. The ONLY reason I didn't want Stanley was because of the investment the team already made in Monroe, but now that he's here I still think the best move for the team is to admit Monroe's contract was a knee-jerk mistake, cut him after June 1st, let Stanley go ahead and be the blindside protector he is meant to be, and let Urschel or Jensen battle for the left guard spot. The team can use the cap space from Monroe to sign an inevitable June 1st/training camp veteran o-lineman to bolster depth.
  20. I like everything you are going to bring to the Ravens, Ronnie. Except the "dabbing." Please keep that at home.
  21. I still think Urschel wins the job as our new left guard. Wagner has done nothing to be benched at RT, he was very good in 2014 in his first year as a starter and played much better last year once he was healthy again. Plus his cap hit is insignificant. All signs point to Monroe being moved or cut at some point.
  22. I like the pick but I would have loved Buckner, who in my opinion could have been day 1 starter like Stanley next to Williams and Jernigan without creating the personnel/cap issues that this creates. Remember that someone has to WANT Monroe for a trade for it to even be considered. In other words, lots of nice dead money back on the cap even as a June 1st cut when we were just getting out from under the Rice dead money, etc. But the front office isn't worried so I defer to the pros.
  23. I'm objective enough to understand the logic behind this but I simply don't like it. Despite a few lapses in coverage (which it seems ALL of our secondary players have at some point), Hill has been one of the only defenders consistently making "splash plays" the last two seasons. I'm pretty sure I remember the FO and staff making that a point of emphasis in their recent talks so even though it saves more money on the cap than cutting other players, it amazes me that the wasted signing of Kendrick Lewis wasn't the first to go here even though it would only save about a million on the cap. We also seem to play a lot of three safety sets as of late as well so it makes me question it more. I hope Hill goes out and balls with whoever signs him, even if it's a division rival. Now, time for us to move on.
