Black helmet, purple jersey, and gold pants. Whoever came up with that idea is obviously trolling the ravens fan base.
I understand the sentiment but with Gilmore's seemingly burning hatred for being tackled the only person I woudl rather have in that situation is possible Givens.
Yea I agree with you as well. Gilmore is hard to take down, but at the same time screens almost always require you to make the first guy miss just incase someone reads it. Just one play tho
Screens like that are usually to someone who is quick.
Tresman can get people open with his play calling. He is pretty innovating
Baloney great defensive play . The ball was on the money
I'm sorry, I don't understand your english. So I'm just gonna move on
Baloney
Wide open receiver and he missed for him for a td
You. All complaining about that damn pass while seeing these play calls and this defense
This is why I defend flacco... I mean seriously
You completely miss the point. A guy was wide open and Joe had protection for a deep ball downfield and he underthrew it. Yet you wanna talk about play calls and the defense. Excellent point.
He definitely does, but I think it has a lot to do with getting comfortable with a receiver and getting to know where they are going to be when the ball gets to them.
You see him throwing to SSS? On the money almost all the time. With our young and new receivers we've seen a lot more of the misplaced throws.
Do you realize none of this receivers are new besides givens? How much time does he need with a kamar aiken whos like in his 2nd or 3rd full season, not even counting training camp and preseason. Like seriously I really want to buy it, but I'm smart enough to know this isn't some flair up, this is continually thing he hasn't improved on.
People don't want to believe when I say Joe Flacco underthrows or over throws a bunch of passes. People dismiss me as a hater, but he proves me right every weekend. That was 7 points he left out the field.
The pick looked awesome.....then the stairs...
Yep, but that draft was pretty weak even if he panned out.
Dez and DT were the same draft I am fairly sure
Yea my mistake they were, but my point is still the same. They got jumped by two teams for great receivers late in the first round. Then we traded out the first totally to draft Sergio Kindle in the 2nd.
Ozzie is a great GM, but he has been whiffing in the draft recently for whatever reason. One thing that gets under my skin during the draft is he sometimes sits on his hands too much. Its almost arrogant at times like he gets a high from a player dropping into his lap without him making a move. Example when we were one pick ahead of the broncos and they Jumped us to get D.Thomas. Another year we were one pick away from Dez Bryant and the Cowboys jumped us and got him. Ozzie jumps teams in the draft for players in the middle rounds instead of in the first round. That's part of the reason we don't have many impact players on our current roster that were drafted.
I wouldn't mind Aldon Smith signing with us. I know he might get suspended some time soon, but I know hes a free agent next year. We really have to attack the defense in the draft and free agency. Literally any Qb can light this defense up. I see this being a 2 year rebuilding plan because we don't have anyone to replace SSS as well. This upcoming draft is gonna be extremely crucial for the future of this organization. I now consider players like Arthur Brown and Courtney Upshaw busts they were 1st and 2nd round draft picks. Matt Elam up until this point in his career is a bust another 1st round draft pick. Those high draft picks have hurt the development of this defense.
Good Game, I'm looking forward to having a high draft pick for once. No jokes
One thing about Cj mosley, He looks like lackadaisical this year. I'm not just saying that just because hes having a bad game, I'm saying it because their isn't any urgency to his game this year.
Receivers need to be fast, really fast. Forsett is out and the Browns know it. Give Flacco enough separation to throw the ball. He can win the game but he should not have to put up 30+ points a game to have a chance to beat the Browns. The Browns..... When is the last time they scored 30?
This is the NFL, their isn't much separation. And when their was big separation he overthrew it.
I am not thrilled to go to OT to be honest. This game is pretty depressing, But I bet Browns fans are on the edge of their couch lmao.
Wish we had Maxx on the field...
He has the movement ability of my grandfather sad to say.
Ozzie needs to draft exclusively for Defense next year. They have fell off the boat. Every Qb is throwing bombs left and right.
That is because he does not have the weapons to rely on throwing the ball deep over and over like they did in 2011 and 2012.... He was super accurate. He does not have the weapons to practice it and rely on it like they used to. Steelers have Brown so it is part of their game plan. When we had a good offensive line and Torrey Smith and Jacoby Jones it was our game plan. Now we are a team that looks for intermediate and the run game.
for goodness sakes your telling me he doesn't have enough time with Aiken to make that pass. Those are the excuses I don't accept
Ben also has Antonio Brown. Also when has Joe thrown the long ball since 2012? He has had no weapons to throw it deep for the past couple seasons. They finally got Givens to throw it deep and he just got on the roster a couple days ago while Ben and Brown have several years of chemistry.
I'm talking about Deep ball accuracy not weapons. I seen plenty of times where Joe had wide open receivers down field, like the one just in this game with Aiken Wide open for a big play. Overthrow..
I'm not trying to bash Joe by any means, but when announcers rave about his deep passes I just laugh. He has the arm but way to inaccurate. Another Qb in this division probably throws some of the best deep passes, his name is Big Ben. As much as I hate Ben hes as good as it gets in my eyes.
Will hill not discipline enough to play deep safety in this league. His body type and mentality is in the box. He needs physical contact every down.
That's proof Joe stands flat footed way to often. I heard a qb coach once say you should be bouncing on your feet while looking down field. Joe just stands there flat footed and when the rush is around him it takes time for him to get started to run.

We need pass rush on defense, and on offense cut out the self inflicted wounds.
