  1. defensively maybe, but dalton got lucky with a couple of throws that landed in our players hands
  2. They are acting like the bengals can do no wrong lmao. Andy Dalton had 2 or 3 picks left on the field. They are pro bengals it safe to say.
  3. Even Andy Dalton steps up in the pocket and makes a strong throw. Joe would have lobbed into the bench
  4. Joe is a 1st round pick who was paid handsomely. I expect him to make plays more than anyone on this team. None of this fading away lob passes. He has a cannon but its like he doesn't want to unleash it. Setting your feet and throwing a ball is qb 101. Coaches don't need to even tell that, for goodness sakes we notice that on the forums. Hes getting paid to know that.
  5. All these undrafted free agents that are starting for the Ravens are non factors from the receiving core to some of the dbs. B
  6. I can't believe these coaches haven't drilled it to Joe that he needs to stop throwing off his back foot. Its actually unreal.
  7. back foot Joe is his new nick name. Never standing tall in his pocket. Now hes fading away throwing across field in the nfl.
  8. So who is the best player in next years draft?
  9. Joe won't set his feet.
  10. Timmy Jerningan had no rush integrity. If you watched that replay he basically made the choice for andy dalton.
  11. Courtney is Terrible, the only thing he can do is stop the run.
  12. Marlon Brown is 6'5 215 and got stopped dead in his tracks by a smaller corner. Please run through him even if your not gonna get the first down.
  13. One undrafted free agent being replaced by an injury prone 7th round pick. Bad drafting at the WR position screwed this offense for years.
  14. As you pointed out we went against probably the worse defense we played against in years. As soon as we play a decent defense we will get exposed. Joe is too inconsistent to be counted during a 16 game season. That's why he thrives in playoff scenarios where he can get hot for 3 or 4 game stretch. Joe also leaves a lot easy of plays on the field. I'm talking about devastating plays where people are wide open. After watching the game again he doesn't step up in the pocket enough. If he does step up in the pocket its to run. That is why Joe lobs a lot of his passes, hes throwing off his back foot because he doesn't step up in the pocket. We also have one of the worst receiving cores in the league to boot. This is why people say we should be a run first team, even though most Ravens fans wouldn't mind being an explosive offense. Its the situation we have here.
  15. Trestman obviously puts more importance on the passing game than the running game. But putting the game on Flacco doesn't work to well. The best fit for Flacco is a run first offense like we had last year with Kubiak.
  16. You have to understand he is the QB he will get the most love when things go right and the most hate when it doesn't. But him underthrowing wide open receivers is getting pretty old. Like I don't understand why he lobs almost every pass, even across the middle of the field.
  17. Not to toot my own horn, but during the game thread against the broncos. I actually said Peyton Manning is the reason the Ravens D has been so good. Overthrowing passes and trying to adjust to a new scheme with Kubiak. We don't have any pass rushers, and I'm starting to honestly believe that Suggs and Doom would have fell off a lot this year regardless of Suggs injury. Suggs and Doom were not getting any pressure against the Broncos O-line who are a bunch of no names especially at the tackle positions.
  18. Flacco deserves better receivers, I'm one of the few who brings up our undrafted free agent receiving core. But some of his passes to wide open receivers are just baffling. That pass to Aiken was so bad, Aiken had his guy beat by 5 yards and had to stop while the defender ran full speed towards him. Lucky for Aiken he didn't get concussed on that play. And the other pass to Steve Smith was thrown out of bounds when he was was wide open. In which he probably could have changed the entire outcome of the game. Hes constantly throwing high arching passes for no reason. If a guy is wide open gun it in there as soon as possible so the defender can't interfere. Its quite sad this problem has plagued him his whole career even though he has a strong arm. This is part of the reason we get so many PI calls with our receivers, he constantly underthrows passes and causes collisions.
  19. What the heck? was that pass? lmao oh well good game.
  20. Excellent excuse for Joe missing a wide open receiver. I'll think about that next time he throws the ball.
  21. Joe can never gun the ball in there. every pass has to be a lob. he has absolutely no depth preception.
  22. off his back foot.... again.
  23. yea its turning into a bad habit
  24. again off his back foot Lmao
