Because football is a team sport. But with the Ravens its very lopsided with the Defense carrying the offense. Do you realize how many times this defense has carried flacco to the playoffs? I'm a Ravens fan and I see it every year. Yet you want to use it as an argument to defend Flacco. It makes no sense.

The problem with that Joe isn't gonna get compared to Namath he is gonna to be compared with current players like Matt Ryan who has 50 more TD's than him even though they entered the draft the same year. You bring players out of the past who's stats won't look good in today's era to prove your point. Rookie QB's now have better stats than Hall of Famers in the past. Should all of them be HOF's? No, its just the NFL is different than it was in the past. The only thing is Joe has stats comparable to players in the past in this new NFL.

"Who cares about stats?" Stats and game tape are usually a direct indication of what you will be paid in this league. It is used as bargaining chips in player contracts. You bring up Joe Montana he is the only QB who has 5 super bowls. He is an exception, We will be lucky if Joe can get us another one. Its also a different era than today's game. Montana stats would probably much better in today's passing league. Brady on the other hand goes back and forth with Manning breaking passing TD records so that argument is invalid.

Statistically speaking his regular season stats are pretty average compared to what hes getting paid. A lot of Joe Flacco accomplishment are team accomplishments, not individual accomplishments. How can Joe Flacco be even thought of being a hall of famer, when he hasn't even been to one pro bowl? it doesn't add up. This is where i can see right through your argument, I am a fan of the Ravens and Joe Flacco but you if you look at the issues with the Ravens especially this year its Flacco and this offense. I am not one of this people shouting for Harbaugh to get fired, I'm talking directly about Flacco and his play and how he has regressed.

So anyone who analyzes Flacco is anti-Flacco? If I'm anti-Flacco you must be A Flacco defense team member. I'm basically saying if you look at his body of work I can find you over a dozen players who are better than him. who he gets paid more than. Why is it that he never gets to the pro bowl? Even when the starters selected don't go to the pro bowl. Why is it he is never even thought of for mvp consideration? Why is it that Joe hasn't even thrown over 4000 yards or more than 30 TDS in 9 seasons? And you want me to be the Anti Flacco guy? I'm giving you facts and your telling me I'm a hater.

I have been known to critic Flacco throughout his career and I believe its well deserved. If you actually look at his body of work. He is actually an average to below average QB. Take away that playoff run for the Super bowl and look what he has done. I want to blame the receivers, but when they do get open for a big play or something he under throws them. It all comes back to him. If you look at the big plays to Steve Smith since he has been here, its more of Steve Smith making a play happen then Joe making a great pass. He is into his 30's now and I can't really ask him to improve that much. At this point he is who he is. In a league where rookie QB's are coming in now and throwing for 4,000 yards, Joe hasn't hit that mark once in his career. I'm not trying to bash the guy, but I have always seen what people are angry about now.

I want Flacco to take accountability for his play. How does Phillip Rivers still produce with a bad oline? I can't even name one receiver with the Chargers right now, and hes less mobile than Flacco. Yet he still produces at a high level. Yes I know the O-line is bad and they have to be blamed as well. But I watch Flacco closely and he still has the same issues he did as a younger player. Doesn't step up in the pocket, Awareness of pass rush is not good, Joe has a strong arm but hes inaccurate. I harp on Flacco a lot because he is the highest played player on this team, and he doesn't produce like he should. Think of how many offensive coordinators the organization has had since Flacco has been QB. Only one coordinator worked well with Flacco and that was Kubiak. Kubiak stresses the run more than the pass. Kubiak offense pretty much works with every QB, even younger ones because there is less pressure on the QB. Defense is still good in my opinion. I know they are not the best, but they are highly ranked. We have no offense, that's an on going theme with the Ravens.

The main reason we are 3-4 is because of our defense which is 4th ranked overall. Chargers defense overall is 21st big difference. Rivers even though he is immobile he is better than Flacco on so many levels. Rivers is literally a stiff in the pocket and still gets the job done.

Where are all the Joe Flacco defense team members? Back under your bed.

jaguars, redskins, raiders, giants. I don't consider them creampuff offenses. If that's the case why can't our offense ever take the chance to pad stats against those same bad defenses?

Defense is ranked 3rd in the NFL 1st against the rush. The Defense has given 300 yards this game so far. Offense will forever be the ravens down fall.

People say I'm a flacco hater, but he proves me right every time. I can see right through him. He has a strong arm but that gets negated with his inaccuracy and poor footwork. His pocket awareness has always been bad. And at times he is amongst the worst decision makers in the NFL. That's Joe throughout his whole career.
