It's really looking like Perriman's reported injury has a lot to do with some type of degenerative disorder as reported. Most fans seem to think it was a hack reporter disseminating the story. I don't and think the Ravens gambled on a speedster and combine influenced work out/pro day. It shouldn't take that long to get over that reported injury. It's truly not a good look. It would seem that he had far more extensive damage then we've heard or have been lead to believe. I certainly wouldn't put all my eggs in that basket he's carrying. The Ravens will look real dumb if they don't take another viable receiver that has at least 2nd round merits. Waiting for day three will only add enormous scrutiny and the chatter will not be of the kind nature. We aren't the only ones looking @ the failed position for far too long. They may say he's being saved from re-injury. Really?

    agree,

    this is bad,

for me I would not wait till mid round to draft a WR,

with his injury and the amount of time to recover

    not a good look

  2. if this has been mention please excuse me have not read any of the past posts,

many people this Bosa is not a fit for our type of defense now looking at today's ravens video there is also a mention of it

so for me it really seems like Buckner is the better choice,

I get the hype with Bosa but for me DeBuck is the choice

I still cant see Tenn passing on Tunsil.  I know their DC would love to have that kind of player in the backfield, but drafting Tunisl gives them an upgrade at two positions, protect their young QB, and helps the run game.

Mr. Lebeau can put a Bentley in his garage or a mclaren ,

    both nice cars

tunsil yes but Ramsey the BPA, even at number 1

  4. agree,

I see cleveland still taking bosa

and trading back into the 1st in front of denver to grab a QB,

remember hue is a good QB coach,

I see paxton lynch in that burnt orange

TENN- jalen Ramsey (home town kid),

eric berry 4, landry  6 the late great sean taylor 6

they can make their hometown kid the 1st , 1st

    CLEV- jalen Ramsey/bosa

  5. I have 2 fears

    1. that we do not trade back, please trade back FO

          a) I think there will be a lot  instant coffee in the 2nd rd

    2. after we trade back we are not aggressive that we sit and wait for BPA

        B)  we  need to work this draft

I think Jaylon Smith, if healthy, would probably be taken slightly ahead of Jack. But, the main difference is that Jack is already back from his injury whereas Smith's injury is far more serious and there are reports he may never be the same.

I would probably take him in the 3rd round just bc his talent is insane and he'd be a guaranteed top 5 pick if healthy. But, he's definitely going to miss the entire rookie season, and theres questions whether he'll ever be able to play again and if he does whether he'll be anywhere near the same player. 3rd id prob do it depending on who else is there, 4th id jump all over him, but i have a feeling someones going to take a chance in the late 2nd.

when they both was at the top of their game,

who was better in what way?

He measured at 5'10 and a fraction officially. And had a freakish vert and long jump. And was by far the most fluid db at the combine with the most natural hands and ball skills as well.

He is the same height as some of the best corners in the league. Why do people still say 5'10" makes a short cb even though there's a long list of elite 5'10" corners and a very short list of elite corners over 6'1" ?

I am not throwing him under the bus,

for me again me, if I had a choice

I like ELI, size and speed, 2 things you either have or don't.

the rest can be coached up.

if we do not trade back call me crazy

but I like buckner over bosa if both was there.

if there is a trade back (RAMS) take him,

I like mocks that sparks a good conversation, so good mock

  8. ok, not going to say,,,

    I told you...

I did a mock in jan and said

I see the browns getting a vet QB and drafting  a QB in the 2nd rd

I also said BOSA will stay home (college) in OHIO

hue was raised in this division he may still go QB with the 2nd pic

but he know defense ,defense and more defense.

remember hue knows QB's,, it's in his blood

I guess that could have been worded better such as: Please don't post non-football memes, gifs, etc. in Ravens Talk so as to help deliver the fastest page loads possible. Asking people not to be silly is probably going too far.

again you all are given way too much power that was neither offensive, vulgar or threatening in any manner

it was funny and was referring to our offense, being on a whole new level

I have always stated that the moderators here are not fair

if that meme is posted and just 1 person finds it dis pleasing

I will write a formal apology.

    not fair.

  10. I know, I know , I know

    ladies and gentlemen,

we are heading towards a west coast offense,

plenty of people that will want the ball(good people not selfish),

SSS is back for his record , now wallace is here after being absent for 3 yrs,

now for me  Ezekiel Elliott aka " EZE E" is starting to grow on me,

think what our offense would look like with him and the formation ,

ZEEK will take our offense to a another level

  11. not that it matters,

    but I voted for ZEEEEK,,,

yes I know I wanted TREADWELL in the past and boyd in the 2nd (still boyd in the 2nd) but with the addition of wallace

things change, I know we need CB's , pass rusher's  and OL,

but I have always said our rb's are average

" EZE E" as our RB, just think what our O can possibly produce

I made a post earlier about our offense being more pass

    think of the formations,

I think there is no question that we trade back. I really don't see a single player that would be I just got to have him @ six. Even if Tunsils there I think if the right combo of picks is there, he'd take it. He could do so much damage in the pick order. You already see the Patriots bracing for such a move by their most recent moves. Ozzie could pick this draft dry. He'd have a mid 1st plus 2 seconds, 2 thirds, 2 thirds, 4 fours, and the possibility of reentering the fifth via a future trade. I don't think Ozzie would even miss getting a first. Actually I pulling for them to trade back. A impactful player will still be in the mix no matter where they land in the first. Flexibility is key. for this draft.

    I agree with you, but,

we need to be aggressive with our picks

sitting and waiting for BPA , this is a no go

we can work the draft manipulate it by a move in and out of positions

next year comp pics can be used for  trade,

so this year becomes the new NORM, instead of BPA(still good)

manipulate the draft, this works when you have plenty of pics and a decent team. ,

Clady's cap hit for any team he would be traded to is 9.5M in 2016 and 10M in 2017.  I don't think the Ravens will be a legit trade option.  I doubt they'd even be willing to extend him after all the injury concerns with Monroe.

I think Clady gets cut in the long run since it's obvious he won't be a 10M cap hit backup.  Teams would be smart to wait and go after him as a free agent

if we did trade for him (or wanted to trade) we could work out a new contract prior, correct

so his cap cap is no longer a problem,
