"NFL training camps begin at the end of July, and Manziel is still unsigned after being released by the Cleveland Browns in March." Manziel still has a lot of football in him.  He creates positive yardage passing and running the football whenever he is on the field.  Ravens could use Manziel's talents in the slot position as a receiver that can throw the football.  Not just for gimmick plays, but to make the Ravens offense more prolific and less risk to Joe (running for first downs).  Manziel under Ravens coaching staff, could amplify this offense.  Get over the knee-jerk reaction of this proposal and think about the advantages of this versatile player.  Some team will sign him for a song, why not the Ravens?

From where I'm sitting, Aiken looks like the safest and arguably most valuable WR for the present and the future that we have on this roster.

Easily the most reliable and well-rounded of the bunch that will actually potentially be here in 2017. Too many unknowns elsewhere.

I agree many variables, but he is under contract for just this year

meaning even though he had a good/great year, he was not rewarded with a long term contract

he basically received a "prove yourself again" contract

but if you notice we have many other weapons here,

meaning he may get the chance, but other people will get a shot also

next year we may offer a long term but I think it will be extremely again very extremely team friendly

I am not throwing Aiken under the bus (wife from Aiken S.C, had to plug that) I am a huge fan

just a point of thought Aiken is more of a possession WR,

we have a boatload of TE's and if they are who everybody expects them to be, LOOK OUT

may be possible he has a good year and somebody pays more,

either way I do not see him here next year, again many variables

wouldn't next year be the possible future?   Maybe you should understand what you're trying to convey before posting.

you are correct , my bad

I thought people here had a decent amount of intelligence,

anyway, thanks for pointing that out,

    7216, good job

How do you say Aiken is no longer needed, when you're trying to replacing him w/ a guy who can't stay healthy(Camp) and a rookie (Reynolds) who is in a position battle to make the team?

the statement was a reference to the possible future

hence the comment of comp picks, and players produce

nobody said anything about this year or next,

    read please,

and again this is all based on players doing their job as expected.

did I mention reading is good as long as we understand what we read,

  5. I think it we start running more TE set formation, he will fit in

    Gonk is what 6 6 and 270

Waller is 6 6 and what 255  (still adding weight) and can catch

    the future

    maxi, crockett, nick and Waller

    Perriman and Moore deep

Camp ? and Reynolds in the slot

Aiken (I like him) but is no longer needed

due to our deep depth at the TE position.

aiken and wallace will net us a decent comp pick

no matter who our WR's are the TE group will be good,

watson and pitta are here to help coach up this young group.

quick edit; how could I forget and not mention MR.KENNETH DIXON

if the players produce we have a very bright future, even the line

I agree. Do not need a Julio Jones or an green #1. Just a legit #1 that scares defenses and can win on every level.  If Chris Moore plays to his max he will make a fine #1. If Campanaro can play 16 games he will be a really good #2wr.

I think you said it best

if these players play to their potential

I really think our WR corp  mixed with our TE's can and will be special

  7. I think not only are we going offense first

    but we will become a

    "West Coast " style offense,

naturally our players need to step up,

but look at the type of

our backs(dixon) and TE's are are receiving type players,

    2/3 yrs down the line

    speed WR;  perriman and moore

    slot; camp and  reynolds

    possession; aiken and butler/mathews

    TE's ,,,

    RB'S,,,

the future is now as far as our offense is concern

Vets NOT attending OTAs is not an issue.

That aside, he's wasn't medically cleared to participate in OTAs this year.  And when he was physically fit last year he still didn't attend the OTAs.

    well,

If he is healthy he is pretty much guaranteed a spot and probably has the starter spot on lockdown.

At this point its really still his job to loose.

He would either still be bothered by injuries or his play has to fall off a cliff  to consider his spot not guaranteed.

Or i guess Stanley starts off playing at an high level right away which rarely happens with rookie LT.

    I honestly think,

we will trade monroe, we will accept whatever we can get.

I really think it's a matter of medical clearance

now if there is no trade, we will NOT cut him, he will play

I'm starting to wonder if it isn't an issue with the coaching stafff.  Maybe it's the drills, maybe it's the pressure of making everyone compete for their job, I don't know.  But after so many injuries each and every year, the common denominator here isn't the players.

to piggy back off your comment

we do run a very physical camp

but  players/teams through out the league fall to injuries,

B.P will not make or break our season, yes I wanted to see what he had

if he is lost for the season then next year he is still healing,

anyway, the comment falls on all coaches

they are trying to make up for practice mandates

  10. many great position look

we have many former players (past and present) here

but none have been rated so high and done so little

none have never came in with

" this is my last chance mentality"

a position that can truly make our offense elite

    with the right person,

now I love the draft pick of k dixon

but I feel like Trent Richardson, if he works out, wow,

we come off like john Gotti

my position I am watching is RB's

I think ryan mink had a clip where he spoke of injured players being at ota's that have not been medical cleared,

yes it is not big deal being here or not(voluntary) but he is in a sensitive situation

suggs never attends yet he was here,

can people for the love of god stop overreacting or at least when doing so treat all players equal rather then just focus on player they like or dont like only.

for the love of god (really) lol

not over reacting just ment to spark a discussion

  12. do anybody feel like monroe do not want to be here

he didn't get the money he wanted and nobody was knocking at his door

delusions of grandeur at it's best

he stays injured, he is speaking on topics that goes against the nfl, and the organization

players was at OTA's and he chose to be in vegas at a convention

medical marijuana is a good thing for player/people in general

seems like monroe is doing everything he can to get ran out of town,

I do hope he gets traded.
