I can't speak for anyone else, but it probably has something to do with all of the close games. This team never gives up on themselves and that is probably a credit to their head coach.

See the Miami Dolphins for an example of the reverse.

the majority of those close games we were in fact winning and it fell apart at the end, this may get a pass in 1 game maybeeee 2 , the fact that the games are close is all the more reason to question the coach or coaches, I am not advocating he gets the boot(right now), I am real honest at saying I have never been a fan of his, but the word accountability means something to me, He is a special teams coach, so he get a pass,,,,,,,,,,,, again

I think he's safe. Keep in mind the reason Billick was fired was because there was a sense that he had lost the locker room. Harbaugh has made sure that hasn't happened in his case. I do expect a change in the coordinating staff especially offense.

what makes you believe the locker room is not lost....

I would trade back in a heartbeat , get more draft picks , you can build a team with draft picks, cincy did get stronger due to that carson palmer deal, Cleveland had a chance they just picked the wrong QB,  Many people here say that ,treadwell,and other WR are not all that, so if that is the case why draft a WR in the 3rd or 4th round, they have to be garbage. 

   IF we are in fact top 5 and we get a chance to trade back get them picks,, 

    I do more reading than writing here, there are many smart people with great scenarios. I say that because you all may know better players coming out the following year , so lets accumulate those draft picks and trade up to snatch a better bosa or a more reliable treadwell .   

I don't know why Monroe seems to always be hurt lately. He never had problems at Jacksonville. While I think you can make the argument that he took the money and ran, I think that could be a bit unfair. If that was the case I think his play would be bad while he's on the field. He's actually a good player when he's on the field, however, so I'm not sure I can agree that he's slacking off. If he was then I'd expect his on the field performance to also be bad.

Unless he's some super genius with an amazing plan to swindle the Ravens, I think his injuries are legit. He's probably just been very unfortunate. I don't disagree that we should find someone else if possible because Monroe just hasn't been reliable. That could be for many reasons, but two years of injuries is a concern no matter how you look at it.

I think monroe is probably below average he has allowed so many hurries and hits. I do agree when he can here ,he played lights out.not any more. 

Realistically, it will take a few in a row to get him fired. Harbaugh isn't going anywhere.

The small portion of people here questioning him are the few that were for some god awful reason holding out hope that the playoffs were still a miracle away. They are going through that emotional finger pointing phase. ..

At this point it was not a matter of playoffs, but a point of winning. pride,responsibility and accountability for your actions.

   now the finger pointing from me stems from just 2 problems that should have been fixed and because they have not then I do fault HARB, he needs to be held accountable . now he is saying FLACCO will be back by the start of training camp ,haven't he learned his lesson (B.P).

YO,,, I feel your pain, any other year I would be shouting the same thing or trade up get a good player, this year there are no really outstanding players  coming into the league, no game changers, this is the first year i am a true advocate for trading back .

if we are top 5 and drop to around 10-15 and get an extra 1 next year and rather sit use them picks.

First if you play the game scared then you will not give a 100% and you will get hurt. but if I had to rest some players or a player, it would be Jimmy Smith, he is injury prone and I really think he is not healthy,,

monroe came from a loosing culture and he continues to miss games due to injury,, I understand we need him at the moment,

A few of my favorite mid to late rounds guys are C Evan Boehm, G Sebastian Tretola and OT Le'Raven Clark, all of them are probably better fit for a power run scheme, but it seems trestman still doesn't know as much about a zone scheme as Kubes did and I think we'd be better off switching to a power scheme picking up a good RB and continue building the O-line and go back to leaning on a consistent run game rather than asking joe to throw to practice squad receivers 40+ times a game.

Which WR do you want at #1? I am not hearing or reading about this year being a stout draft for elite WR's. Is there an AJ Green or Julio Jones type of #1 receiver worthy of a top 10 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft?

I don't know. Maybe. I've supported Harbaugh a lot and I like him a lot as a coach. I won't say I'm not pissed off at him for how he handled the Perriman situation. I don't like how he's essentially thrown guys under the bus at times. I also don't like the whole sticker gate. Lol. I do legitimately wonder if he's getting to guys in a bad way, but I'm not ready to throw in the towel on him. He needs to look in the mirror, though. He's also a part of the problem here in one way or another.

     my thoughts are this ,, he is the head coach, so ultimately he is held responsible and should have  accountability for what is going on , the year we went 8-8 well he got a pass then cause we lost ICONS,, HARB is a cut off of andy reid the only difference is he is a special teams coach this is why maybe our ST is so darn good,lol,,

     the team he won a superbowl with had a core of players combine that with a decent QB ,, and you get a superbowl,what would BRIAN have accomplished with a QB (and he tried to get one).

      HARB wanted his own team but without him being a X/O type of coach he needs a supporting cast ,, which is the reason it becomes difficult for him to terminate a coordination,, casing point jim caldwell has 0 experience being a OC, 

first year was great cause he had no clue what he was doing , he was unpredictable that was his edge, the following year he had to game plan for a season and that is when it broke down.

     HARB is a good guy and as long as he is our HC,, I will support him,,, but he should not have been our HC from the start,

my last point is this every team has an identity they all have that crazy player . We have neither,, we are no longer a defensive team , we do not win coming off of a bye week ,, we do not protect our house any more ,

and the sad thing is we really do have a good defense not great but good  much better than continuously loosing by 3,4,5 points,

Odrick came from Miami, so Suh cancels that compensation. Arizona signed Iupati, canceling their compensation for Cromartie.

Suh, Maxwell, Culliver, and Julius Thomas is our competition. None of those teams are likely to make the playoffs except Maxwell and the Eagles. Who knows, though, as Thomas may if the Jaguars surprise. I don't think any of them make the Pro Bowl. Culliver only played in 5 games, so that could help us. Thomas has played in 6 so we may benefit there, too.

It's possible the Bears could make the playoffs as crazy as that sounds. I think it's unlikely but they're only 2.5 games behind GB who's the 5th seed atm with a 6-2 record while the Giants are the 6th seed with a 5-5.

if we end up in the top 5,, then we need to own this draft ,, if bosa is gone trade back get more picks and let the magic start,trade back up ,, heck trade sideways if it will help,, but I expect us to maneuver all around this draft .

Bc I don't think there is a legit, can't miss #1 receiver in this draft. And if there is one I don't trust Ozzie to find him.

But there is a potential perrenial all pro at safety, CB, and pass rusher and at least one should be on the board when we pick so long as we don't go on to win several of our remaining games.

Plus Perriman could still be a legit #1. We KNOW we don't have a dominant pass rusher, FS or CB (behind Jimmy) on the team. And we can get upgrades at WR relatively cheap in comparison to what it costs to get a legit pass rusher or CB in free agency.

Take the sure thing and just add the most talented guy at a position of need. Grab a mid round receiver with upside and get a Nate Washington, Michael Crabtree, Sanu or Jones in FA to make sure we add at least one reliable pass catcher.

To top it off, our offense has been decent even as currently constructed. It needs more talented options but even as is it's capable of winning games. If we were able to make 4th qtr stop we'd have at least another 4 maybe even 5 wins.

Improving the pass rush or coverage is the quickest way to turning this team around imo.

now let me say this if bosa is on the board yes take him,, I DO  be think the best player available is the way to go,,  

We need some serious"playmakers" on both sides of the ball of course but I do feel that our offense should get special attention this draft.  Get Joe Flacco some "weapons" as everyone loves to say!  And he needs more than just 1 all around receiver that has great hands, fights for the ball and extra yards, has speed and can run routes.  Why not get him 2-3 cats like that?

treadwell, perriman, camp, and the 3 amigos (TE),,, i like this and bring back SSS to help train up those young wr,,, we will be good for years to come,, 

     lastly we have better luck drafting defense late in the draft than offense,, please no more WR in the 5,6,7 round,,,

have you watched a game this year D is the problem coaching scheme no pass rush poor angles missed assignments/ tackles offense is decent Flacco has done well with not much to work with. A secondary is always better with a good pass rush

I have watched the Defense this year every game and every snap and I think we had a lot of issues but based off what you said the first comment was " coaching scheme" that is over half the battle, I really think we have a good defense ,, Do we need some infusion ,,yes ,, but I am confident we can find a better player on defense in the later round as opposed to finding an offensive weapon just look at history,

   We need a true #1 WR ,, just think Treadwell, Periman, Camp, our 3 amigos(TE), DUDE,,that is a heck of an offense, Heck we might not even need a line with that power house ,,, 

    I will take BOSA in the first and a WR in the second but if we do not get him WR in the first 

nope why trade , if we draft a true #1 WR , then I would see a trade,outside of that give them the next year or 2 and watch what happens, Rocket Crockett game back with a vengeance, boyle looks good now and maxx will get a lot better,our TE  will be tops in the league,, 

we are upset with the refs over the JAGS,, yes the JAGS,, they have not won a road game since when 2013,, and we put ourselves in a position to even have the refs effect the outcome of a game,, really,,, who turns a ball over what 4/5 times straight,,,
