I am rooting for K.O, if he turns out to be a good fit then maybe our bargaining tool is in our favor. He will not get elite LG money then he can get decent LT money, is that possible
well fought game, but we need change.
National Fixed League.
it should be called that,,,
schaub is done , no excuses no more threads ,
look at his demeanor, his body language tells everybody he is done
a pick 6 ,, never mind
GOOD = we did play a decent game today
BAD = mat schaub is done, season is done let clausen play
UGLY = refs, there is no excuse for the amount of bad calls, the bad calls are game changers.
joe has all the leverage and I hope he take full advantage, and with his extension savings
1. Get him a True #1 WR
2. a veteran LT.
3.move broke down monroe to R tackle
4. what do you all think of ryan jenson should he stay at r tackle or monroe there or l guard
TREADWELL , he is made in the mold of Dez Bryant
yes,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
Flacco done for the year and we're now on a 35-page topic once again discussing whether he's good or not.
There are plenty here on both sides. Imo there are many pretenders on both sides. Plenty of people attempt to look neutral but aren't. I'm not one to generally call someone out but these attempts are very transparent imo.
Flacco could certainly be better but I don't see him as an average QB. I see an above average, top 10 QB and I'm good with that. I think it's hard to argue that he's top 10. While you could certainly argue he's top 5, I think that's a more difficult argument.
There's my occasional post on the subject. Time to stick my head in the dirt again.
Agree with you GRIM,
I like joe and I do think he is above average,he has his brain farts from time to time but that is why he is joe.
the only real talents joe lacks (imo) is WR he has never had that . this is why I am such an advocate of us drafting a WR early, if BP works out then guess what, yes we end up with young WR's along with our young TE's to match our young RB's,, the future looks bright,
Packers are cool, I have no hate for anybody in the NFC,
AFC, well that's a different ballgame
I heard it was the turf, this is why we are going to grass to keep monroe on the field,,,,,,
the turf hurts his shoulder to much
so the question should be, Do the fans of the Ravens prefer a great ST or a great off or def?
Harb is and was a special team coach, although I do prefer a HC with an offensive or defensive background , then we would maintain an emphasis on off and def, and maybe just maybe we would not use starting or certain players on our ST. the new mantra here is can the players we draft play ST. So yes our ST play is appreciated but it should be expectant.
i like that kid out of Delaware,,, nick boyle
oh we have him ,,,, my bad
guess I need to go back to sleep
Harbs a ST coach so we should be ranked ,,
but shout out to rosburg , and the mayor who is our consultant, RANDY BROWN,,,
Haha Have to say that your outlook is entertaining and partially true but the problem is honestly with McCown the Browns are just the better team. Matt Cassel is going to do what Matt Cassel has been doing for years. He is not going to come out and somehow play magically better. Thanks for the chuckles
Good Mourning
Mr. Wizard,, so we got McCown out the game so we could win,
I really thought Peas would have a better game plan, oh well now we are off to loser abyss ,,
A win is a win,
good = a win
bad = QB
ugly = defensive play calling,,,,
I hope our QB gets relaxed and play sound football, but I did notice he looked beat during the after game interview he did not sound confident almost as though he is defeated.
not a fan of taking WR in the later part of the draft,
they never work out , if we go WR, then it should be in the 1st or 2nd round, of course this is all predicated on where we draft in each round. my 2 cents
if im first overall, im taking tunsil, im taking tunsil with any team, but bosa, in my eyes, is absolutely a top 5 guy, i think hes 2nd overall and people just love to hate on the most hyped prospects. i see him in a similar light as dante fowler, he is big, very tough, very physical, and technically sound, and plays violent yet disciplined, and has a great pursuit and nose for the ball, he isnt athletically the most eye popping prospect, but at his size and strength his athleticism is still impressive, and his high football IQ and sound technique make him a pretty complete package. i dont see how bosa isnt worth a top 5 pick, i guess we all have our opinions though
very well said, nobody is hating,I have only seen 1 game so I am not downplaying until I see more, I have only said that after 1 game I saw he was good, I will watch more games and continue to read everybody comments,
just saying I am not sold yet, but it is a great deal of hype here on him,,, thanks
he has played both sides frequently, he can be a fixture or he can be a moving weapon, he even lines up on the inside sometimes. ogbah plays both sides as well, i only caught some of the okstu game last night but from what i saw he was fixed on the weakside.
as a college player, my guess would be that bosa is coached to play where he has the best matchup, if hes gonna be a gamewrecker facing the opponents RT, then he'll line up there as frequently as possible.
as a player also (go cavaliers), he isn't worth a top 5, you think he is worth a top 5, me I would only take a LT that high, for the talent in this draft I would trade back
Even if you don't see him as that level of a talent, he's still the best pass-rusher in the draft. After QB, those guys are just as important as LTs. You wouldn't draft him just cause you have some commitment to running a 3-4?
just watched Ohio st play yesterday,I didn't know he played the against the offensive rt tackle , what I saw was a good player a sound player, so what is all the hype about, because he is the best in this draft class, that is not a good enough reason to spend a top 5 pick on ,,, imho if we do not go after a LT then I hope we trade back and accumulate picks for next year
you watch one game and that is what youre gonna guage him on? he isnt "spectacular" as in hes not some blazing fast behemoth of a man that can fly off the snap and reach the qb before he drops back, but he is the best defender in this class. he is freakishly strong, a violent, and technically sound player. im not on the bosa bandwagon, i prefer tunsil by a wide margin, but bosa would be an immediate contributor and would be a HUGE presence on the field for us.
yes I just watched 1 game, and my comment was meant to en lighten me I wanted to hear why everybody is so blown away by him. I am not down playing him but what I saw was a guy that plays the weak side tackle, am I wrong
Nkemdiche. He doesn't finish plays (gets pressure, but doesn't get the tackle/sack). Also has work-ethic concerns. He has all of the physical talent you could ask for, but he hasn't lived up to his potential. Whoever drafts him has to somehow make him play harder than he ever has.
Bosa also is going to disappoint if people really think he's going to be the next Watt. He seems like a good, but not great talent.
bosa is a pretty high caliber talent. he is technically sound and physically dominant at the point of attack. also its hard to say hes the next watt when they play different positions, in a 3-4 bosa is an OLB while watt is more of a DE. i think a comparable player in terms of pass rushing would be mario williams, will he ever become a more complete OLB? i dont know, i think he can definitely be solid in a 3 down role, he will dominate the run, dominate in pass rush, and we may never even ask him to drop back into coverage, but i think he will dominate the point of attack enough to justify a top 3 pick. i dont think hes overrated by anyone with realistic expectations, which are pretty high to begin with.
I watched the game yesterday to see the great Bosa and what I saw was a good player nothing spectacular a good sound DE,
oh that covers the weak side tackle , an offensive right tackle.....
was a little bored and just read this,
way to funny,,
wizard vs grimm, this is good debate and informative
you both have great points but we will win Monday night based and on pride and other factors;
offense,,,,,,,,,,,
schaub first start in years he won't be great but he will be good enough
allen now he is 1 and everybody wants to be 1
west he is home and going back to Cleveland looking to prove his worth
defense,,,,,,,,,
this team as a unit should want to make a wrong right (first game),
pees will call and scheme his greatest game,HARB his first game without his flacco
I do think we will win and sink into the abyss never to be heard of again until draft time. just saying
this again falls on coaches,, evaluate and put players in the best position to win. the RAVENS have the best special teams in the nfl, why is that? if they can not play special teams then what they are of no use, did you see C.J Mosley out there on kick off team. last week why did we deactivate certain players ,

I am a big chuck pagano fan, but what are the odds he would return?
