I am not advocating buck as the 1, he is average, but that is all of our backs. there are only a couple 1 RB's in the league if our backs are average then why not have the WR's open it up for the run game, maybe I am wrong (please don't rip my head off) but maybe this is what OZ talks about mentioning certain players needed.

I had to go back and look at the history of kickers, only 1 in the 1st, (al davis) there was a couple in the 2nd/3rd, but the majority in the 5th,6th and 7th, but those was in fact average kickers this kid out of FSU is good,really good. I think he will go in the 3rd. Now based off what you said, would I trade him for any of those players, then the answer is no, follow me now, the ravens draft really well in later rounds . I think this is probably one of the most important drafts we have had in a while, while all are very important this year we need to hit more than miss. I do think we trade back and accumulate picks and then maneuver around a lot. I think this year we will attack key position (due to moving around) not so much as our famous BPA

for the many people who continuously talk about kubiack offense. look no further than our special teams, why is our ST so good,you have a ST coach and the HC is a former. now how is the ST going to look bad when you have the HC, you have 2 personal working on ST, just like KUB and the offense,Dennison is the OC but KUB spends that extra time there. Our offense is ok, just in need of a play maker WR,I wanted perrimann but after last,well I am a little scared.

lets pass the buck on this, This is a passing league running the ball is a plus but you need good WR to help open up the run game.he needs to be discussing defensive schemes along with player let downs. the offense lost the most and still managed, The offense needs a tweak here and there. but the off season need to get the defense up to par along with our DC.

I know a few people here want an older WR, I really wouldn't take any more vets, SSS is enough to help train up our young WR's just think if we bring in another vet WR, they are here just for the money SSS is well himself. Offense is on the rise,just needs a couple tweaks here and there, treadwell (true1,something we never had), monroe and KO(which will be gone), lets get a a vet on defense.

I agree BUTTTT, Treadwell, we have never been in a position to draft a true 1 WR, we have tried to draft WR in later rounds and it has never worked. so get that TRUE 1 WR, and spend the rest of all those picks, trade if needed and get that CB or OT, and get another DC, oh maybe an assit to the defense(pettine.schwartz,or leslie frazier as a DB coach). We have drafted almost every position in later rounds, and struck gold, except WR, Lets get him and yes get the rest later.

I think the browns go, Bosa keep their shinning knight instate, fans love the move and they get a RG3 or KAP, just as a stop gap and draft a QB in round 2 I do business in Dallas fans talk like we talk here, Dallas WILL NOT draft a QB at 4, unless Romo is done. Romo is not done so a QB in round 2/3 is more likely. This leave us here at 6 and QB's on the board,SF will not trade unless absolutely want that kid Goff again keeping their guy in CALI,but the fall back is they will get 1 of the 2 (as it stands now) QB's. As happy as I am for Ted , I was hoping he had a future here. We all should have seen it coming, as far as pees staying here, the talk of the defense ranking the second half of the season. maybe HARB went to bat for him, idk, on speculating maybe pettine is liked for his proven track record the same with lovie, I know this is a ravens site and I am sure some items are read here , I trust in you all decisions but we need to get back to the foundation of RAVENS defense, angry and aggressive was the way we played not soft and in an analytical way. you made Trestman play a certain offense why not make pees.

part of our problem is we draft late in the first round, top end talents are gone, we draft this early and have the chance to get a talent like Treadwell, A TRUE 1, you have to take him at the right spot Treadwell , SSS, Perriman , Aiken , Camp, & the 3 amigos (TE) sss will help train up the WR, then our RB and FB, I can come in at 48 and QB this offense, lastly we draft good defensive players in later rounds we can not draft a WR in later rounds none of them have worked out. we are in the perfect spot . Cleveland will take bosa and the next team to need a QB will be SF,and we are in front of them so let the trade offers start,

you are a MVP, so you post a lot , smart keeping in the know, I have been here a couple years , I do more reading than writing. my point is this, you are correct and all that comes up is excuses and more excuses,but if you look at it, it is the same dumb penalties 1 after another, Good football takes the game away from the officials. you will hear "we stopped pitts" really , they never showed up and we did play very well. But look at the early games in the season, Oakland,browns,SF,cardinals,Miami and the jags, all winnable games. the other is alot of young people, they just didn't start playing this game,lol here is a good 1, we are the number 2 defense in the nfl, for the 2nd half of the season, I agree with you the foundation of our defense is lost, the angry ,"me against the world" mentality is gone, I do like Trestman he will get his play calling together but Mr. pee body, has to go, HARB needs to be held accountable and I am sure MR.B and OZ will get him straight behind closed doors.

The browns decide to go with the homegrown Bosa , other than the browns nobody in the top 5 needs a QB, that leaves us in perfect spot (thanks to S.F winning) at 6 let the trade offers start anybody before us will cost more, 7. san francisco = need a QB 8. Dolphins = rumors they may need a QB 12. Saints = again rumors with brees and his cap hit 13. Eagles = who knows 15. Rams = need a QB 20. jets = fitz is not the long term answer. I think the Browns trade for a vet QB like brees, also RG3 and Kap will find jobs but are not the long term answer only a stop gap while the newly drafted QB get acclimated to or is a QB needy team that missed out, I understand the point system for a trade but couldn't we get just as much from San Fran as the Saints.
