Wow and I thought I was taking a chance on Brock Osweiler for 9 mil. He's making nearly 18 million in real life... That's some crazy money for half a season of decent production

QB League, you dont have one, you need one. That drives the market

He has not gotten pass blocking yet and RT is becoming almost as important in that department with guys like Houston, Miller, and Watt all coming from that side. Guard is an area he could play and I have gone on record saying that he could be better at Guard but taking a potential Guard at #2 overall over guys like Matthews, Lewan, and Martin is not a good pick in hindsight.

The key word is could when dont know if he even would be a good Guard

  3. Great pickups ins Fackrell and Washington. Fackrell I would have certainly considered with my last pick I just did not know what to do with him scheme wise thats why I went with Perry.

Washington really good tape esp for the way the NFL is evolving. But damn he was sooo nonathletic at the combine. wow

Boom, back to back. Surprised with the run on WRs, I'm happy to get Cooper here. Wasn't the initial target, but I'll take it. Certainly Bell in the third I'm very happy with

    Solid pick in Bell.

Although I think he is not bad value here I just didnt get it with him 100% he is more like corner playing S, really good in man for a S but really struggles when tackling he shies away sometimes, doesnt do a good job of wrapping up and he is small and tiny ( its also mindset with him there are some small guys who really are physical) he might really struggle with run support in the NFL. So for me he certainly isnt a SS and I did not see enough of him in fact there hardly were any plays where he played deep or zone from what I was watching. So he might be really good at it but I cant judge what I dont see. But at the very least he is really good in the slot or covering TEs

Sorry I fell asleep at the wheel waiting for a pick that already came. Lol.

The more I've watched them I prefer Ifedi over Spriggs. Anyone else concerned Spriggs just isn't strong enough to hold up?  He seems to get overpowered too much. Not a concern with Ifedi. He's got quickness and toughness. He should fit right in with this improved Jets run game.

    Nah, he is garbage

He reminds me quite a bit of Torrey, but he's a bit more aggressive than Smith. Smith never really played angry (except when he met Steve, lol), but I think Will Fuller plays angrier than Torrey.

The fact that he can fly will help his Stock in this draft I expect him to go earlier in real. His catching is a bit of a concern as is his Limited route treu but he is a playmaker takes the top off of Ds and he compliments my WR core really well

I appreciate the fact that we're keeping the person's name out of the discussion, but since it seems that most of us here know who's being referred to, I feel like this is a conversation to be had behind closed doors since he's not a participant in the FM. That's just my opinion.

I personally have no clue but I am not active at all. So great point Truth!!

Go ask someone who frequently engages in the Draft forum what he thinks of Jaylon Smith. That should produce some good convo. I remember when he was all about Jaylon Smith over Myles Jack, who he labeled as a terrible fit here while Jaylon Smith could be the best pick for us and could transition to the 3-4 OLB position. Now he says it's ludicrous to imagine Smith as a 3-4 OLB.

I just don't get some people so I hid the name to protect the (not so) innocent, but some of these changed opinions are quite comical. I got no problem with people changing their minds. I do frequently. I find the bipolar prospect disorder to be quite strange, though. One minute Jaylon Smith is a God and Myles Jack is a bum, now Jaylon Smith is crippled and Jack is a savior while Buckner is likely not worth #6 after arguing for a while he was. Oh, let's not get into the whole "Alexander is the best CB in the Draft" convo, because now he's not apparently.

    I'll stop my rant.

I Dont See a 3-4 OLB in Jaylon at all

With Gerald McCoy in TB, Bullard could only play 3-tech in a double 3-tech pass rush set on 3rd downs I'd assume

Thank you :D . I like Bullard alot I was surprised he wasn't selected in the first round /sooner. I don't plan to use him at defensive end only but I always thought he was versatility enough to even play outside linebacker in 3-4 scheme. I'm happy with this pick

Yeah didnt think about that when I posted it as I was just shocked that he put him at DE I think he is a Monster as a 3T.

3-4 OLB? You do realize that he is 285? I get your love for him totally just not your positional view

Well. Through my first two picks, I've addressed my two weakest positions with solid, safe players. Now, I gamble on potential

You left better players on the board esp at 11 and here as well. But yeah opinions are different.

But drafting for need is always the wrong the decision to build your team.
