    I just shed a tear for Alex Smith

     

    Haha Wilson has a chance to be decent deep threat and dwayne Bowe is nowhere near worth 11mil.

    With my Cap situation I had to cut him. Have a good receiving TE though, improving my OL is most important as KC needs ro rely on the run even more. 

    And there is still FA and the draft so maybe Alex Smith will get more weapons we will see what happens.

    Yes.  However, it would be nice if you would cut a player before their positional FA period.

     

    Yep, at any time.  We prefer you do it before the position group is up in FA but we know that's not always possible.  If not, they just go to final free agency.

     

     

    It is my intention to cut players before Free Agency starts. Just wanted to make sure in case I need more money.

    Very close call on the Houston franchise tag, if the Chiefs had under 51 players(draft picks included) it would be invalid as there would need to be enough space to get to 51 players. Thankfully they have 52 players. Just a reminder though to keep player totals updated or you could be caught off guard...

     

    Would projected compensatory picks be included?

    It needn't be a guaranteed thing either imo. Just a "verbal" expression of "I'm interested in taking the Browns because I hate being happy" or something. Then that person gets a priority look for the Browns come the signups, or they can just say they realised they got themselves in too deep after the Superb Owl and the Browns get a GM the usual way.

    Although there could be other factors I don't know about, like priority going to people who want to keep their teams.

    Or maybe the guys who want to play, Name 5 Teams they dont want and then someone radomizes on One of the Internet sites which Team he gets.

    Therefor it still is fair to everyone and you Can evaluate your team through the season.

    Just a thought, but would it be too early to look at expressions of interest for next year's version? I could be interested, and it could make for a more interesting upcoming season if at least a few teams were allocated before everything begun.

    Just an idea. Feel free to shoot me down here or something.

    Have to admit I like your idea. If we have the Teams before the season starts, it would be so much easier to evaluate your team
