@Giants56Ravens52 I was debating between Larry, Garcia and a 3rd guy. Good to know Garcia went right after my pick
With the 41st pick in the 3rd Round Philadelphia selects

Larry Ogunjobi, DT, Charlotte
Just now, -Truth- said:Most certainly lol My only concern with him was that he was very much reliant on the outside rush and the hips were a little stiff on inside counters. But I've seen some placed have him in the first two rounds, so it definitely looks like good value at this point.
That concerned me as well, plus he never had a bull rush which he should most definitely add as it will be a great counter to his speed/explosivness. But he might be a guy who always could rely on his speed to get the edge and it even worked pretty well in College. But yeah risk - reward pick I admit it. And I am sure he gets drafted earlier than he should due to his immense athleticism cause NFL Teams will fall in love with that

Willis is still pretty raw, but he is such a great athlete, pretty long arms so a lot to work with. Plus putting him in a wide 9 will benefit him. If he learns to time the snap better he can be a terror without changing his technique too much. Normally I am not a guy who likes raw prospects and banking on potential but in 3rd comp I think he is well worth a shot. Its not 6th overall like Vernon Gholston lol
1 hour ago, -Truth- said:Strongly considered moving down but the recent selections of Henderson and Ford coupled with the worry that Hansen might be selected within the next dozen picks and gave me enough of a pause to simply take him at this spot. I've liked Hansen as a prospect for some time now, and even though I have Brandin Cooks, Keenan Allen and Adam Thielen, the possibility of losing Allen to injury would push Thielen into a starting role, vacating the No.3 spot. Figured it'd be best to have two insurance policies for Allen in place just in case.
I was debating between Willis and Hansen. But if two players are similar I always opt for the Linemen as it is the foundation of any Offense/Defense. Think Hansen is real good value here

Went far from my plan but I'd say it's going quite well.
By the way if anyone wants to trade back levy is still on the block
Mate you did not get a 3rd for Jones lol
With the 30rd pick in the 3rd Round 94th overall the Philadelphia Eagles select
Jordan Willis, DE, Kensas State

He was a superior athlete thats why he gained separation. He routes were bad. But I was surprised by his willingness to block. But yes he can be a matchup nightmare while still being ok as a blocker. He is immensly raw but has serious upside and potential. Just needs a good Coach, buy in and time.
And he was in my top 3 for 3.30
Just now, -Truth- said:I agree. Though this class is tough to figure out and I was wondering if Watson going 11th would change the trend, they certainly do tumble in our proceedings. Part of it has to do with the comfort level at the position after trades and FA. I feel like most teams come into the Draft feeling like their QB situation is set.
Yes I agree 100%
4 minutes ago, -Truth- said:I'm surprised that Patrick Mahomes lasted this long. His footwork and tendency to scramble despite a clean pocket will be difficult challenges to overcome. He's a sandlot QB, his accuracy on deep throws is inconsistent, and his floor is as low as his ceiling on high. But with regards to the latter, he arguably has as much upside as any QB in this class. He might have one of the better arms in the league in his first season. I didn't need a QB but I was attempting to trade up for him myself.
I think is is a special of or Game. QBs fall every year compared to real life. I think everybody just wants a starter and does not think about the future maybe because of the one year game I do not know but thats whats occurring almost every year here
1 hour ago, ravensnick said:I'd agree in the first or the second, but not much risk taking him in the third. This WR class is kind of weird because I love the ceiling of a lot of the 2-4th round guys, but their floors are really low as well.

Adam Shaheen is a big TE with speed and good catching ability. Small schooled so the step up will be great, will need to learn to block better.
Granted, thats why I was thinking about picking him before trading down. But I just do not see the tools. But he seems to be willing to learn and a competitor so I will definitely root for him. I do not see the comparison to Boldin. But yes worth a shot in the 3rd.
Would have certainly taken JuJu but I just do not see it with him. Lacks explosivness, does not really get Separation, is a big body WR and does not box out DBs he is just not playing like a 6'2 220 pounds guy. He does track the ball really well on deep throws, catches well on outside shoulder and is tough after the catch.

Grabby, slow, big cushion to allow short/quick completions. Does not like to tackle that much.
But besides that he can cover and is a Ballhawk, But him in a zone D let him attack the ball but dont count on or a Team that plays a lot high safety and one that can protect him deep.
