Regarding my Beasley pick. I didn't rate Ford and knew I would get an OLB early so I got what I could for Ford. The only concern with Vic is his tendency to not control blockers in the run game he only wanted to slip by them as quickly as possible which can open up huge gaps he has got to learn that. And I am just going to put Dontario Poe to his side of the field. Overall I am very happy today

The only source I have are my eyes and I watched every eagles game. There is a reason his YPC in his first 5 games was 2,9 and in the last 11 was 5,3 that are the games where the OLine was the worst at the start of the season. IMO he was never that great of a route runner he caught swing passes and alot of screens and check downs. Part 1 imo his passing production slipped was that screens did not work at all last year. Part 2 was the absence of DeSean Jackson. Teams were not scared of the Eagles deep, could play nearer to the LOS and key in McCoy. Finally I am not disputing that he was not his usual self and seemed to have lost a tiny step but saying he played awful is a stretch imo

Of Course it has something to do with OL play. Breaking a tackle with a DL in your face or getting yards after he contacts you right after the hand of is totally different to running through a hole and LBs trying to arm tackle you. Both are contacts. Therefore yards after contact can be a bit misleading

That happens when you have 4 backups on your OL and have a DL in your face when you get the hand and noone respects the QB on the option and Foles/sanchez hand it off nontheless. Regarding the passing game. The Screen Game did not really work last year for the Eagles and on 3rd an long there was a guy called Darren Sproles who got the most passing options for obvious reasons.
