  1. Believing the Ravens will focus on RT, DE, and ILB in the early rounds just like last year. They just might trade back from #16 to later in the first round if a third round pick is offered, leaving them with three third round picks (assuming we get a 3 for Osemele)
  2. SMH - Just another little tick off to get Brady motivated to roast our secondary.
  3. Speaking of the fourth quarter, what have the last six years of drafts 1st, 2nd, 3rd round, 18 picks provided? Only Breshad Perriman, Timmy Jernigan, and Brandon Williams were on the field to help the offense or defense in the fourth quarter. None of those three were key to a big play. That is a significant big time surprise to what was once the Raven's Achilles heel.
  4. Would it be so bad if the next fourth and two inside the 20 Flacco takes a delay of game? Its not like he will get fired, he just signed the big contract.
  5. Remember Harbaugh is on the draft selection along with Ozzie, Eric, and Joe. Since the SuperBowl and Ray Lewis retirement the team has been on a clean image cleanse so the rowdy, tough, mean players are no longer on our board, guys like Burfict would have been a Raven before Harbaugh won the SuperBowl. Time will tell, but we are not the same trying to go this Mr Clean route.
  6. The Ravens will not get far without a quality LT and they have proven they can find quality pass rushers out of the first round. The four best non QB players: Bosa, Ramsey, Stanley, Buckner went right away, really surprised Dallas took Elliott, but that tells me they really wanted Bosa first. It was a good pick.
  7. What if the Ravens franchise Osemele as a guard, but play him as a LT next year. That buys us a year and see if he can stay healthy.
  8. I've learned that drafts yielding zero current probowl players and ranking number 6 for dead money roster combined with two top paid cornerbacks that yield the 29th most effective passing attack and a well paid LT whose performance or absence injures my top paid player well BAM thats a good combination for Vince Lombardi to have a losing season.
  9. The bottom line is if we have two picks in the top 40, one in the top 8, both of them need to hit productivity from the get go, LT with the early pick and CB with the second round pick or vice versa. But really get after this, can't afford Oher and Elam level production, need better.
  10. Per Hensley, Gaither again is not on the field for the third and final day of the mandatory minicamp. We're told that Gaither's supposed injury is minor. Ozzie and Harbaugh should handle Perrimant if this is at all well similar?
  11. Incorrect about two things. St Louis, Cincy, and Pittsburgh have winning records. Second and more important, a 1-6 team has made the playoffs: In the Super Bowl Era, only ONE team has started 1-5 and made the playoffs; in fact, they started 1-6. The 1970 Cincinnati Bengals won their Division and went on to the AFC Playoffs. They were shutout in that Playoff game by the BALTIMORE Colts, 17-0.
  12. Here an objective view of the Ravens ailments: Best team in the NFL at the draft since 2010: 1. Seahawks GM: John Schneider Average position of 1st pick: 30.6 Total picks: 48 Pro Bowlers: 7 Best Pick: CB Richard Sherman %u2014 2011 5th round Worst Pick: G John Moffitt %u2014 2011 3rd round Seattle is the gold standard for drafting in the NFL right now. The 2010 draft netted Earl Thomas, Kam Chancellor, Russell Okung and Golden Tate, laying the foundation for their 2013 Super Bowl team. Chancellor and Sherman were 5th-round picks, and they landed QB Russell Wilson in the 3rd round. On the same list is the Ravens at number 25 25. Ravens GM: Ozzie Newsome Average position of 1st pick: 30.8 Total Picks: 42 Pro Bowlers: 1 Best Pick: LB C.J. Mosley %u2014 2014 1st round Worst Pick: LB Sergio Kindle %u2014 2010 2nd round Newsome is seen as one of the best drafters in the NFL, but Baltimore has very little to show for its past five drafts. Drafting late has hurt them, plus they did not have 1st-round picks twice. Full article: http://nypost.com/2015/04/25/an-exhaustive-ranking-of-every-nfl-teams-draft-haul-since-2010/
  13. So is this two different knee injuries - and no contact?
  14. Hindsight is 20/20; McPhee has 16 tackles and two sacks. Possibly a FO miss to prioritize signing an injured, possibly questionable J Smith over P McPhee.
  15. If Derek Carr could throw for records against us, Michael Vick can beat our defense, I even think Caleb Rowe could beat our defense.
