  1. His footwork, decision-making and accuracy were shaky at times. He tossed 15 interceptions, the second-highest total of his career. Known for his big arm, he seemed quick to settle for check-down and crossing routes. ... “If he were sitting here now, he’d say it’s all on him, his footwork, his mechanics, it’s all got to be better,” Bisciotti said. Correct assessment ... So my question is, when has Harbaugh ever achieved selecting a QB coach or OC that effectively corrected these multi-year Flacco deficiencies? Gary Kubiak, but GK wasn't Harbaugh selection, Its well known it was mandated from above that Harbs hire GB... whom just happened to show up at Harbs house to be interviewed. The 1st thing GB did was relegate Harb's Juan Castillo to the TE's while he redirected the OL scheme and Hammer'd on Flacco continuously on elevating his QB techniques... I just don't see Harbs effectively coaching or assigning an additional QB coach besides Marty Mornhinweg... & we have yet to see positive results from MM whom was the QB coach b4 this years promotion... I just don't see it, unless it comes from within Flacco himself ... Well we haven't seen that of late either... It would be extraordinary to see a Flacco progression, because all we have seen is a multi-year Flacco regression... Flacco is the hinge that opens up the Raven's to returning to the playoffs... But his is holding all the cards, the contract, the Cap space, no challenging backup QB in the system yet, & the Ravens haven conceded to his desired coaches ... & now the whole coaching staff's jobs next year are on the line based on Flacco's performance... The odds are really high that this all turns around...
  2. The difference between Bill Belichick and John Harbaugh is in New England, I bet, Bilicheck does this EVERY WEEK... & after a few weeks playing in New England, players start to really really understand quickly to pay attention and play sound football or else!!! And for Joe Flacco, I bet Tom Brady still puts in twice as much time as Joe on his technic... You knew Peyton Manning did! Johnny Unitas and Raymond Berry did, but you NEVER NEVER NEVER hear Joe putting in the work that makes an Elite QuarterBack GREAT!... from what I hear tell, around 4:30PM Joe is nowhere to be found at the Castle in Owings Mills ... It seems he is putting that extra time into being a great breeder !!! That's about the only results we seem to see... >>> The Ravens don’t usually meet as a full team on Mondays, but the bye schedule moved it up. The sessions don’t usually last nearly three hours either. Per Flacco, Harbaugh usually has just a handful of clips to review – both good and bad. This time, however, the entire team reviewed every single offensive and defensive snap together, in order of the game, dissecting mistakes and pinpointing where to improve. They didn’t review the special teams plays together. The special teams unit actually met as a group for 45 minutes first, and then continued with the rest of the team for the longer two-and-a-half-hour session. Was there some hard coaching taking place? “Yeah. Oh, of course,” Flacco said. >>>
  3. TV High Definition replay is the only reason that matters. The NFL must allow all plays to be reviewed... The majority of NFL fans view the games via TV & the technology & capability of HD Video replay shows the BAD Calls with incredible clarity!!! The fans can see for themselves the bad on the field officiating... Its a game integrity issue... The NFL has to adjust... Its the same for all televised sports today, the technology is just that damn good of showing via replay what the correct call should be at a continuously higher and higher percentage... So ALL sports have to step up to all play replay review of officiating, because all the fans can see clearly for themselves what the correct officiating should be.... All the other dumb old school (Tomlin) excuses for not reviewing all plays via replay is just plain stupid... Technology is the game changer... You can't put the genie back in the bottle...
  4. The issue is we need to draft & sign FA play makers... start with playmaker#1 take a #1 WR in the 1st pick... The Ravens were in the bottom of the league in TD's ... the object is to score TD's and a lot of them... That means a Great Hands WR playmaker w/capability of YAC & certainly in the redzone... separation, catch the ball and score... If the pass game can score and gain chunks of yards... you take early leads in the games & then you grind the ball to chew clock... plus the D pins its ears back and pressures the one dimensional catch up opponent... That's where the Defensive backfield Playmakers take over and win the turnovers game... play makers... Score, force fumbles, and make Picks & pick-sixes... That is what this team lacks... we need Playmaker CB's & safeties... We are too slow in the D-backfield.. 1st you have to be able to keep up the the receivers & and then you need quickness & position to pick the throw... Playmakers Playmakers Playmakers .... else its 16 & done again... If that happens then it will be time for Ozzie to go....
