Question: one of my players is making 750,000. Which is 250,000 from 500,000 and 1,000,000. How does that work?
Although i think i overpaid for babin, I know how these free agent biddings ago on pass rushers lol
Buccaneers Give:
TE Luke Stocker (0.5 stars each way)
Jaguars Give:
DE Jason Babin (6 stars each way)
Totals:
Jaguars: -5.5 stars
Buccaneers: +5.5 stars
Confirmed.
Ravens have applied the "original round tender" to Tandon Doss (4th); 1.5 stars deducted
I don't think you can. He was drafted, then cut, then re-signed on a new deal.
Darrelle Revis and Carl Nicks are on the Trade Block. Serious offers only.
7th overall pick on table
Didn't you just say you weren't going to pay for it?
I didn't think I had to but at the end of the day, it's just a game and it's not worth the trouble because the rules weren't clear. I know what the NFL rule is but we aren't exactly running this with all of the NFL rules. Just selective ones. Which is fine. But whoever wrote the rules should of taken the 2 seconds to write the franchise rules better.
Ask SAM to throw Romo into the deal...
Haha. Nah, it wasn't his fault, just vague rules.
You have two options. Take the trade back or pau the extra. We aren't going to make exceptions because you whine about it not being posted.
Not whining at all. Why are you being a jerk when I am just saying it wasn't posted as a rule? I just said it's fine, I'll pay for it. Don't know why you have to be so instigating all the time.
It's no big deal but it should be in the rules.
Sorry it wasn't spelled out. It is a pretty rare occurrence, but SAM knew full well about it and should have explained to you. Its just a basic Franchise Tag rule that we all have to abide by.
Alright, it's fine. Let's go add it under rules. I'll just make some cuts .
Just go add it to the rules page...
That would still be added after the trade was made...I read the rules, screen shoted the last edit time on there.
Listen, I wanna play a fair game but that wasn't under the rules. Adding it after I trade, is not fair.
Any time a player is tagged for a second year in a row, it is 120% of what he made last year. Therefore his cap number on the tag this year is 13.2 which gets rounded to 13 stars.
That is the rule in the NFL, but why is it not on the rule page?
It'd a common sense rule and yes yea you have to pay it.
Most of the rules up there are common sense, and this is a fantasy game so "common sense" doesn't really apply (hence extended cap and the June 1st rule we made for every team).
It wasn't in the rules.
2nd year in a row franchise tagged.
No where in the rules is that said. It clearly says Defensive End, 11 stars. Not in the rules, not gonna pay it.
Michael Johnson is 13 stars for that last trade.
How?
Tampa Bay receives:
Michael Johnson, DE (13 stars)
Bengals receive:
2nd round pick (39th overall), 7th round pick (7th pick of round)
Buccaneers receive:
DE Lavar Edwards (0.5 stars)
LB Colin McCarthy (1.5 stars)
Titans receive:
DE Da'Quan Bowers (1 stars)
Confirmed
Looking for DE, 4-3 MLB, or TE. Starters only for 39th overall pick
so it is all good for you to trade but not for me, hmmm
did you see the cap save for ngata and the picks value i got in return?
how about getting a first and second for jimmy who only had one good year?
Ngata and Suggs were smart trade moves. Jimmy was a bad trade in my opinion especially with Webbs injury history
Looking to trade back from 7th overall
