I won't name 'em because I've made them mad enough already. I watched Wrath of the Titans yesterday with my gf. I liked it a lot better than Clash because it didn't have the two guys making the ridiculously dumb jokes. The guys who were so quick to run away and then they came in riding like heroes on the big scorpions at the end of Clash. Wrath had even more to do with the gods. And on a side note, every time I hear Tom Hardy as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises trailers, I feel like Jim Carrey in Ace Ventura when his land lord's behind him and he asks, "Satan?" It sounds so deep and evil.
I think Dark Knight Rises will be a let down honestly. Batman Begins was so good and the Dark Knight was amazing. The Trailers haven't impressed me. By no means will it flop, but Im just not feeling it like i did with the first 2 movies trailers.
Wait.... Who here doesn't like Liam Neeson? Man cards need to be revoked
Depends on the person. I'm not a big fan of Family Guy so I probably won't go see it. My friend likes Family Guy, but he just thinks the premise looks terrible.
In other news, I watched The Grey from Netflix this morning. Liam Neeson could play an ice cream man or some other soft profession and make it look hardcore. I know quite a few here don't like him, but he's pretty much the only person who can make me proud of my family's Irish ancestry. It's not his best movie, Taken, but I really liked it. And if you're an animal rights person, you might wanna stay away from it. I'd say it's worth a rental.
Finally watched Avengers and it absolutely amazing. There are too many jaw-dropping moments to even start talking about, but I'll just say it definitely lived up to the hype. And to think, the sequel is going to be even better.
On another note, take that Michael Bay.
Its not dead, but the fact that he made a weak script shows that the studio won't tolerate another non story driven crap movie like Transformers 2.
Anyone see Snow White and the huntsman? I might see it this weekend, just hate giving money to see Kristen Stewart do anything....
The devil inside....don't see it. Horrible ending.
How was the ending horrible? Did the devil end up being outside?
And Liam neeson? .. The only reason I may go see it.. Prolly won't though
Brian Mills aka Liam Neeson.
I like supporting Liverpool and Chelsea (I just hate ManU) but I mainly love watching international. Love England, was heartbroken in 2006 when Ronaldo through his teammate Rooney under the bus with that Red Card.
I think England football team has the upper hand of winning the Gold this year in Olympics. Shame the U.S. isn't in it.
Seeing Avengers again tonight. Probably see Battleship next week just because it has Tim Riggins and Brian Mills in it.
Just got back from The Avengers. You will not be disappointed. Great movie. Embraces all the characters and their stories, great story line (if you've seen the other movies) and one of the most awesome fight scenes ever put on film. Loved it!
From Tony's Snark, to Capt's Noble acts, to the "friendship" of Hulk and Thor. Great film. Probably the blockbuster of the summer (obviously Dark knight rises is coming out but I think this is the real deal)
I like John Carter. I went in with low expectations, and it kept me entertained for 2 and half hours. Isn't that the point of a movie? Yeah it didn't follow the books and the actors weren't great but I was very entertained and hopefully they will explain more in the director's cut.
Watched Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels for the first time. Jason Statham and Vinnie Jones were hilarious.
That and Snatch are my favorites. I love Guy Ritchie's filming style.
Watched Thor yesterday.
Nothing amazing, but I thought it was pretty good.
Same with Capt America. Good popcorn flick, would watch again but not exactly the Dark Knight.
Limitless was a good flick, ending wasn't that great though.
I need to set up a day where I can buy a ticket to Hangover 2 and sneak into X-men first class and Kung Fu Panda 2 lol
PSN:Alexir23
Madden 11, Black Ops, NHL 10, Marvel Pinball lol
In addition to the Batman Reboot, a X-men 4 (not First Class) and 5 are on their way as well.
Also,
Cant wait for Your Highness to come out
Not a movie, but if you like Lost, you will probably like Battlestar Galactica. Great writing and good acting. Im not a sci-fi buff at all and I love this show.
King's Speech for Best Movie.
Natalie Portman for Best Actress.
I just got Robin Hood (R.Crowe) from NetFlix. Bout to check it out...
Anyone seen Unknown? Im trying to watch it this weekend.
At least Avatar didn't win
Agreed. That Fern Gully remake was soooo bad. Special effects were great but that movie blew.
Has anyone seen Hurt Locker? Any reviews? I was told I need to see it.
Nothing special. It definitely shouldn't of won movie of the year.
Yeah, it just wasnt funny and you know from the Trailer that he is gonna end up with Jen. Oh well, saw it with my GF and there were worse movies I could of got dragged to...

Ted was awesome. I was cracking up at Seth MacFarlene's un PC and offensive humor. I loved all of the Cameos too.
