Just because it's not about the money doesn't mean he doesn't need the money.
School teachers do their job for the reward of teaching and inspiring students but they aren't doing it for free. I would be very upset if we cut Boldin.
I would rather have him on the team than Ed Reed honestly.
Jamison Hensley "Wrong for Ravens to play hardball with Boldin" http://espn.go.com/b...all-with-boldin
I say we restructure his contract. I think he is looking to play a couple more years, so lets extend him and save some money for this years cap hit in doing so.
Anyone seen The Hobbit in 3-D yet? I'm curious to know if they were pulled off nicely or not.
Only in 2D. I can't watch movies that long in 3D. It was awesome, Jackson added to the story and made it even more Epic
Hobbit tomorrow night!
My favorite shows AKA s hows I watch religiously:
Game of Thrones
HIMYM
Once Upon a Time
The League
Always Sunny
Workaholics
Shameless
Parenthood
Modern Family
2 more added this week
The Walking Dead (Great writing and great make up)
Arrow (I was pleased with the pilot and will be watching it regularly)
The new Hobbit Trailer has me excited. Looks like they will be showing more of Gandalf (when he leaves the group) than in the book.
Skyfall looks interesting. Same with the Hawkeye spinoff AKA the new Bourne movie
Game of Thrones, HIMYM and Shameless. WIll probably watch Chicago Fire. BSG was enjoyable.
After the LOTR series, I trust Peter Jackson to do whatever he wants
Yeah, the King Kong reboot was good as well. Good not great.
Im excited, what a great year for movies btw.
Anyone else kind of annoyed they are dragging out the Hobbit into 3 movies?
If it works, and they make 3 GREAT movies, then I approve. But I don't know how they are gonna drag a 300 page book into 3 movies...
And apparently you can fix a broken back with rope.
His voice surprised me when I first heard it. I'd almost rather them switch Christian Bale's Batman voice and Bane's voice and it'd sound more fitting in my opinion. Not only was it not the voice that I really was expecting and wanting, you still had trouble hearing him at times on top of that. I'd have to say Bane's voice was probably the one thing that annoyed me the most about this movie.
However, I loved how ruthless they made him in this movie and how despite Hardy not being as big as Bane was originally, they still showed just how strong he really was and I loved that touch. Such as.......
Bane and Batman's final fight when Bane was sending a barrage of punches at Batman and was punching through the concrete pillars.
That part literally sent chills down my spine and I loved it. While I agree that TDKR was not better than the TDK, I still think it was a good movie and a solid ending to the trilogy.
Yeah I didn't like how that last fight ended between Bane and Batman.
And you don't really need to put spoilers up, if you haven't seen it yet, that's their own fault lol
Got to agree with you on Bane's voice. To make up for Tom Hardy not being as big as the traditional Bane that we know, I wish his voice could have been a bit more intimidating.
His voice had me laughing the whole movie. Especially when he made the comment about the little boy's singing voice.
As a trilogy finale, this movie failed to beat out The Dark Knight. It was all over the place.
Seriously..?
Andrew Garfield was perfect for Peter Parker. Emma Stone is breathtaking. Acting was great, special effects and use of 3D was amazing, and on top of that it really portrayed the comics more than the other Spider-Man films. Nothing like a superhero movie for Twilight fans.
Don't feed the troll, he clearly doesn't know what he is talking about.
What makes you feel The Amazing Spider-man was better than TDKR?
Better story, Better acting (minus Anne Hathaway and Oldman), Better voice acting, better special effects.
To me, TDKR was a good movie but same song and dance when it comes to Batman. Villain wants to drag Gotham into crime, Batman overcomes himself to prepare for the final showdown, it was good but imo, it didn't leave me with the same feeling Spider-man or Avengers did. TDK was better than Rises so I can't get overly excited about a finale not living up to it's predecessor .
I will be buying all 3 of these blockbusters on Blu Ray, I am just saying for the anticipation, I felt it wasn't the best movie of the year.
Did anyone else see similarities with The Avengers and TDKR plots?
I'd rank the movies:
The Avengers
The Amazing Spider-man
The Dark Knight Rises
Yes, I agree. But you cant fault them for picking a good actor over a huge guy with no acting skills.
Thats true. Someone has to carry Christian Bale
Pretty sure u'll love bane after tonight.. Tom hardy is an awesome actor
He is but at under 6 foot and not a big frame, its hard to buy that he is bane.
Dark Knight Rises tonight. Wish they had a better villain, never liked Bane but I've heard Ra's al ghul's daughter might be in it.
Dark knight rises comes out Thursday. Still prepared to be underwhelmed, hope they have subtitles for Batman/Bane since they just make guttural noises.
Can't wait for Wreck It Ralph
Better than Spiderman 2? That's a tall order
Yeah, Similar relationship with Curt Connor as he does with Octavius. But less campy, its a great movie, check it out.
Spiderman was Amazing, pun intended. Great story, great special effects, and much better acting than the other spiderman movies. Best movie of the year IMO
Seeing Spider-Man tonight...Midnight showing! ill let you know how awesome it is. Again, Brave and Ted were great flicks.

Some people think it's all about speed. Anquan Boldin was our go to guy, he is like the Heap/Mason role on this team.
Not doubting anyone's ability but our WR Corps would be downgraded by releasing him by a large margin if we go to a David Reed or Tandon Doss.
